  1. She's on the rooftop of the pallace (take the stairs up from the throne room floor). I agree she isn't easy to find, it took me a while until I found out about it too ^^;
  2. Voted for Nemnok cause he just wants to be big and have knowledge and free imps from servitude. Those are good goals to have, you go Nemnok, I support you. I disliked all the others really. I'm with those that say that the gods are overexposed in this game and lost the mysteriousness they had in the first game. Not really fond of their art either, I preferred it when they didn't really have a 'shape', like Wael is just all kinds of kith and Hylea was 'shown' as various kinds of birds. Them having an actual look kinda ruins them for me. Also wasn't fond of the meetings, there was no real reason for you to be present at them anyway. They summon you there and then all they do is bicker together while you watch, I'd rather just get back to adventuring with my buddies please.
  3. Overall I did love the game, having put 106 hours in it (I am slow). It was a very enjoyable game, with lots of humor and fun/interesting quests. But like others have said, it wasn't a memorable game. I guess it's mostly due to the main story, which I was very excited for when watching the trailer, but failed to grip me in the way that PoE 1's did. It doesn't help that the rest of the game feels completely unrelated to it. And the ending felt so abrupt too, like you go through storms, defeat a mechanic dragon and everything to find Eothas. Only to not be able to stop him and just say 'ok could you at least inspire the people a bit' and then whoop that's it. Other things I loved and didn't: What I loved: Imps. They are hilarious and adorable and forever the best addition to this game. Hilarious convo options. "Have you ever been close to someone?" - "A god stepped on me once." Bless you game. Most quests were really fun (e.g. Nemnok, Arkemyr's vault, undead island) and/or let you make some hard decisions (e.g. Shadow under Neketaka). Also love that there's often many ways to solve them. Beautiful and very diverse locations, definitely a really pretty game. Good music as always. I'm especially fond of the inn tracks, always love that kind of happy dancing music. Quick Travel when arriving on islands. Bless being able to just click which part or building of a city you want to go to, saves a lot of time, a huge improvement from PoE 1. Awesome boss battles, e.g. the Poko Kohara guardian, the Kraken, the dragons. What I didn't love: Bugs. Like for the most part they were easy to ignore but for one I am extremely sad that I didn't have Vela on my boat due to import save bugs. I was hoping you'd meet her again in PoE 2 and now I hear she's even on your boat and she can banter with you and companions??? And I miss it all cause I imported my PoE 1 save Also didn't do the quests in the right order apparently and eventually got stuck not being able to side with the Huana cause I missed out on a quest that was required. Downloading the Beta patch saved me but without it I wouldn't have been able to finish the game in the way I wanted (really didn't want to side with any of the other factions). Ship battles. I don't understand them and I don't care to understand them. Please just give me a button that guarantees me to escape from them without losing 2000-3000 copper and a bunch of resources by surrendering :/ No quick travel between different islands. All the various quests require you to travel a lot back and forth between isles, especially from all sides of the map back to Neketaka. It takes so much time and I do it all by hand cause if I just let the ship sail there, I will encounter ship battles and I'm avoiding those like the plague. Needing recourses for your ship. I was one of those people that wanted to do more with Caed Nua, and I do am glad that you can customize your ship and hire people for it. But having to constantly travel back to ports to resupply food and drink while you just want to explore the huge map? Very tedious and doesn't add much imo. Would be nice if this was optional. Having to keep up morale. A fun mechanic in theory but very hard to achieve if you don't participate in ship battles. I had to do it via just food and drink and with water giving -1 morale the task was practically impossible. I ended up at 9 morale before endgame and I did try to buy as many + morale food and drink as I could. Giving water 0 morale would improve this a lot, it's a bit ridiculous that crew are going to mutiny simply cause they can't drink booze 24/7. Companion relationship system. Don't get me wrong, I was excited beyond words when it was revealed this was going to be a thing. Traveling with a party is my absolute favourite thing in RPGs and being able to talk with them more or even start romances with them is an absolute bonus for me. The execution is sadly terrible though. There's hardly anything to talk about with your party members, their quests are very short, and they very rarely respond with likes/dislikes to the things you have to say (while they constantly respond to the things others have to say). Except when you say funny things, which wins over almost everyone except Aloth. Speaking of Aloth, it's damn impossible to make him like you. Getting him to +2 was about my main goal in this game and I never got farther than +1 (even while reloading everytime he disliked a thing I said), cause contrary to your other companions he only likes 2 things and hates everything else Meanwhile, Tekehu and Maia started flirting with me about 1 minute after I met them. It's a mess. This almost makes it seem as if I hated the game, but I really did love the majority of it, just have a lot of small gripes. Am excited to replay it and make different choices for sure and will definitely get the DLC too. It just could use quite a lot of improvements still.
  4. Thanks a lot for adding eye colors and being able to customize your character during the game, those are both things I was really hoping for! :D Not a bug but just a suggestion: it would be nice if you can click the shield icons at the bottom (the ones that say "Sex & Race", "Class Selection" etc.) to take you to that specific page. So e.g. if you want to change your race you don't have to click previous lots of times first. (Or maybe it is a bug cause when I click one of those shields, I do get the selection sound, but nothing happens)
  5. Just wanted to let you know that I downloaded the Beta Patch this morning and it fixes my problem of not being able to ally with the Huana! Talking to Onekaza now makes her acknowledge that I failed to ally with the Wahaki but will still support me on my way to Ukaizo, so I can continue the game now. The Fruitful Alliance quest is now in my journal as a finished quest too. Thanks a lot for making a Beta Patch available!
  6. Update: I went and did "Shadow under Neketaka" and after that blew up the RDC powder house for Onekaza. She now tells me that we can go to Ukaizo as soon as they've allied with the Wahaki. So she's assuming I got the Fruitful Alliance quest, which I still never got. Went back to the Wahaki tribe to see if anything changed. When asking the leader again why they're so on edge, I can tell her again that I killed the slavers. She's first happy but then angry cause the RDC is now on Crookspur and somehow she seems to blame me for it. When looking through my finished quests I now find a quest named "Clearing Out Crookspur" in which the RDC asks me to get rid of the slavers. I'm pretty sure I've never even received this quest, is this why the wahaki leader is angry at me and is this another bug maybe? Anyway, no matter what dialogue option I pick after that, she refuses to talk with me further. Onekaza doesn't acknowledge a failed alliance, still tells me to go make an alliance with the Wahaki tribe. So now I'm just stuck and unable to ally with the Huana I've heard more people with this problem and that killing the Wahaki leader would solve this but I'd really rather not
  7. I'd like to add that it's impossible for me to advance "Of Like Minds" too, though in my case I have done the quest, but it won't disappear from my journal. Furrante told me to go to Crookspur on his own, Castol told me to go to Furrante about it after I had already done the Crookspur quest (or well in my case I freed the slaves instead). Castol does acknowledge I've already done it, but the quest doesn't disappear from my journal and still tells me to talk to Furrante. Furrante however has no dialogue for this, not before or after I went to Magran's Teeth.
  8. Well my apologies, now I feel stupid haha. Since I've done pretty much all side quests I can do for now, I've decided to proceed with the main quest and spoke with Onekaza cause I wanted to side with the Huana to go to Ukaizo. The dialogue that tells her this actually triggered the "Shadow under Neketaka" quest so I did still get that! I'm sorry, I assumed that clicking that dialogue would take me to the endgame so I avoided that until I did everything else. I thought those two quests were supposed to happen before that so assumed there was no way I'd be able to get them anymore ^^; So that's 'problem' 1 solved already, I'll see if I can still get the Fruitful Alliance quest too after finishing this. There's still points 1 and 2 I've mentioned of that quest though so this thread wasn't all for nothing?
  9. Yeah I've figured that now, would've been nice to have known before going to Ashen Maw ^^; I mean I'm being told in-game I should go to Margan's Teeth asap but at the same time it seems I should first complete most other quests, so that seems very contradictory. I know games often don't really mean it when they tell you to hurry, but with Eder's quest the game is serious about having to hurry, so some clarity on these kinda things would sure be appreciated.
  10. I'm unable to receive the following two quests: "Shadow under Neketaka" and "Fruitful Alliance". From what I've read I'm supposed to receive "Shadow under Neketaka" from Onekaza after I've been to Hasongo. I did receive the letter to report to her after that, but after doing some other quests first I ended up close to Magran's Teeth, and decided to progress the main quest a bit further first. The game told me in multiple ways that there was urgency behind this quest (Eothas himself tells me I should hurry and my character can tell multiple people that she needs to go to Magran's Teeth asap) so I assumed that doing this quest first wouldn't hurt. But after doing this, the quest that told me to report to Onekaza marked itself as completed, simply saying I have reported about Hasongo (which I did not). Talking to the queen only has her talking about going to Ukaizo, I don't have any other convo options. EDIT: After talking to Onekaza about wanting to side with the Huana to get to Ukaizo, I did still get the "Shadow under Neketaka" quest. Apologies, I assumed that dialogue would take me to the endgame, so I was afraid to trigger it earlier and simply thought I wouldn't be able to get this quest anymore. As for "Fruitful Alliance", there's three bugs concerning this. 1) If you go to the Wahaki tribe before receiving the quest from Onekaza, the Wahaki leader speaks to you as if you did receive it. She speaks of an alliance with the queen and that you have to earn their trust first or something. Which confused me terribly cause I hadn't received the quest yet so I had no idea what she was on about. I went to Crookspur after Furrante told me to and denied the slaver's request to kill the Wahaki leaders. However, he gave me the location to the Wahaki tribe anyway so I decided to go there to see if I could tell them about the slaver's wanting them killed and see what happens. The tribe told me to kill the slavers and since I didn't have a problem with that I did that and they were happy. Did confuse me that nothing else came from that haha 2) From what I've read, when you go to kill the slaver leader you're supposed to be able confront him to initiate a fight. However, I could only talk to him about killing the Wahaki leaders, there was no 'I'm gonna kill you' option (which I did have when speaking to the Wahaki leader) so eventually I just had to stab him to initiate a fight, which was a bit awkward 3) I'm unable to receive the "Fruitful Alliance" quest from Onekaza. From what I've read you're supposed to receive this after completing her brother's request to find a way to Ukaizo. I did this (after already having killed the slavers and also after having done Magran's Teeth), but again can't talk to the queen about anything else than going with her to Ukaizo. So yeah I'm kinda sad about not being able to complete the whole Huana quest, and since I decided to read up on Shadow Under Neketaka instead it seems I'm missing out on an awesome quest too which shows the Huana in a new light. So if this could be fixed for future playthroughs that would be greatly appreciated. PS: it also isn't quite clear that Onekaza is sitting on the rooftop. When you first meet her she's sitting on the throne in the throne room so I assumed I would always be able to find her there. She does leave the throne room after the first meeting but I still assumed she would be back later. When I got the letter to report to her about Hasongo I went to the throne room but couldn't find her, so thought I had to do her brother's quest first or something before she appears (so went to do other quests and Magran's Teeth first). It isn't until you complete her brother's quest that he tells you that she's on the rooftop, and the way he says it kinda indicated that you aren't supposed to meet her there before completing his quest. So maybe that's something to look at too? I did see multiple other people on the internet having trouble finding her since they also assume she's supposed to be on the throne. Also, I did visit the rooftop once but it was before Onekaza went there so I just thought it was another one of those rooftops that just exists for a nice view, had no reason to visit it again.
  11. I'm happy to see more people are bothered by this. I also at first accepted both Furrante's quest to go to Crookspur and the administrator's quest there and lost Serafen in the process cause there was no option available to tell him I was actually planning to betray these both bastards, but wanted to accept the quests first cause I don't wanna make a fuss immediately. I was really surprised by this cause when you accept a quest to steal some adra from the Vailian Trading Company, Pallegina gets angry at you too but you actually can tell her then that you aren't going to do it. I reloaded and declined the administrator's quest, though he just marked the location of the tribe on my map anyway and let me go. I'm surprised to read here that everyone turned hostile after that? I just said 'I'm not gonna kill a tribe for you' and he didn't care and just let me go. And I saved the auction slave and the slaves below too without killing the whole castle. Also kinda bothered that all Serafen does is complain about you taking slaver quests but then not having any 'thank you' or even 'I'm sorry I didn't trust you' dialogue when you free the slaves, I would love to see that added.
  12. I also would love an option to turn off the narrator. It's not that I dislike her specifically, I just dislike unspoken text being narrated at all. It's distracting, cause I simply read way faster than her, and it also breaks immersion for me. It's just really weird for me that a voice is telling me what I'm seeing or doing.
  13. Can confirm that you do not need to start a new game for Eder's end game state to be fixed. When I talked to him the option to ask him what he did after the legacy ended was not greyed out anymore, and when clicking it he this time told me the correct story :D However, it seems you do have to start a new game to get the orlan baby. Went back to Valerio's Rest to see if she's there but nope, and she isn't on my ship either. Is there any way to get her when you're already past the intro? I'm way too far into the game now to start a new one, but this is the only bug that I'm really bothered by, I was so looking forward to meeting her in this game
  14. Not sure if this really counts as a bug or if it was simply intentional but: I have the option "Show Qualifiers" disabled cause I'd rather see the convo options without game info like that. However, it seems that things like how much money you're going to give someone when paying them to solve a quest are included in that option. So now each time I pick an option like "I could pay you for it" I have no idea how much money I'm going to pay the person. For example here's a convo with Show Qualifiers on: And with it disabled: So in the last image I thought I was just talking to the guy and would see an amount of money soon, but next thing I know I suddenly lost 2150 copper haha I personally think that qualifiers for convo options and knowing what amount of money you are going to pay someone are two very different things, and I kinda doubt anyone would not want to know how much money they're going to lose before agreeing to paying. And if I recall correctly, in PoE 1 this info was still shown despite having "Show Qualifiers" disabled? So yeah, if that could be changed, that would be great :D
