  1. Didn't even know he ever would recite poetry, he didn't want to get down and dirty with me as I was a godlike! As if he was any better looking! In any case could just be a bug? waiiiiiiiiit...he is gated ? to race? Ew man .... I made an orlan..he better not hit on her ! It might be more because I didn't do anything for the Principi and didn't complete some of the quests as I had a broken undercraft as well as went there before I was actually given a quest to go there. So I left that quest unfinished and although I had good approval with Serafen at the end of the game his genuine reason to turn down me flirting was because I was a godlike. Shooketh doesn't cover it!
  2. Same, it's heckin disappointing. what were you expecting exactly ? I'm curious.... That because I was more advanced in the game and my skills were higher and they both agreed to peace talks beforehand that I would be able to complete them at any point. Was not aware it was a timed quest as the sinking feeling one was given to me straight after they agreed to the peace talks, so I thought hey I'll go do this one see what's shakin and then report back and the actual peace talks will be even more dramatic because of that. See I like drama, I wanted drama not a technically broken quest. Ah ok.. kinda dissapointed haha you both spoke for Paladin..and I though 'Oh noe! they couldn't smite anyone that must be it'' .. But instead..it's about timing... I couldn't smite anyone anyway. I like dialogue drama not actual slaughter. Difference between spillin' tea and throwing shade and actual slaughter. Would never want Pallegina to leave me as well so!

  5. With unsuppressed Iselmyr it might be quite difficult and you quite likely to get Eder and Iselmyr romance instead.
  6. So would I, I loved Durance. He was very different to the usual good/sarcastic/pretty/normal characters we get. but didn't she say he was trying to convert her though ?? I don't think he was trying to convert her, I went more neutral and also towards telling Tekehu off gently in this route and his approval afterwards went to +1 with Pallegina. He understands his view of the world is clouded by the expectations and pampering he had placed upon him and so understood what he did was inappropriate. I love Pallegina to bits but she is quite pompous sometimes and not very open minded.
  7. Ahhh the good, old godlike. Some people don't like the godlike avatars saying they look horrid and like 'ballsacks' but whatevs. I like the drama that comes with other people not being able to see their faces - other than other godlikes if I'm correct? I never realised it wasn't just the face that was affected but also their whole bodies until I started changing armour and I was like heck... I thought she was smoking under there but alas no. What was aumaua like? Have you played with deadfire background? Did it bring a lot of new dialogue options?
  8. What did you do for him to commit suicide?!?!?!?! Poor Aloth!
  9. I would be interested in hearing people's experiences of playing different races. As in PoE1 I chose a female, godlike mystic. Played as a druid and druid/ranger in the second, nice combo of skills. For story reasons specifically I thought the godlike would fit in nicely with being Berath's chosen and it really did, provided nice dialogue options. Generally I think godlikes are an underdog and I do love a tragic backstory me does! I want to replay the game again but like with any other old school rpg will probs choose a very similar character just because I enjoyed myself so much with this one! Although the mystic background didn't really fit for me as much as I thought it would. Really enjoyed dialogues such as 'what do you think I did in my previous life to get a mug like this?' to 'diplomatically' scare people
  10. Very true. I like seeing a representation of reality - everyone wants to be included but that doesn't mean everyone has to be bi/pan etc.
  11. I just finished the game for the first time and I'm a bit meh about the ending as well. Not just because of the lack of impact of the Watcher's decision on what happens with the wheel but also a lot of technical stuff - I got a lot of spelling mistakes throughout the game dialogues as well as in the final slides. And I think I've run through all the ending options now just for hecks and to see what the options were myself. For a game that was delayed by a month (?) you think spelling mistakes - and a fair few in the ending slides - would be absent. Overall I'm quite happy with the game, I had loads of fun, liked the cameos and was happy there wasn't that much soul reading this time. I couldn't cope with that much unrelated reading in POE1 where every single NPC you stumbled upon had essays and essays of backstory but never actually said anything. Waiting for DLCs now whilst replaying and pursuing Aloth's romance! Also, heckin main quest was super short. I had 37 hr clocked before I went to randevous with Eothas on the volcano and then follow him further and then the game just abruptly ended. Most of it is small quests for factions and some for companions, I feel like I wanted more from Eothas the boyo.
  12. There's a vid on youtube showing you exactly what to do with this one to get the best outcome!
  13. Hasongo near port deadlight which is serafans quest.
  14. But the problem is once I discovered the plot there's no other dialogue options available for the Valera family. If I approach them, even if I haven't reported them yet, they just go on on their own little spat b**** slapping each other and there's no negotiation option available, they demand I help them and that's it!
  15. So I want to turn this quest in peacefully but what I did is got them both to agree to negotiate then went wondering around for a few hours, discovered the plot and came back. Now whenever I go see the Valera rather than be able to initiate talks they just talk about how their cousin is there and needs rescuing and if I don't agree to help them they attack me and Pallegina leaves. Equally if I report to Bardetto's first about the plot she then refuses to negotiate despite agreeing to it and calls me faint of heart but doesn't attack?
  16. I hope Eder is actually.romanceable if not now then in the 3 dlcs coming later in the year. One of which is specifically supposed to test your relationships with your companions. Im happy about Aloth, I understand Paleggina as a paladin and infertile godlike not wanting to be in a relationship but for Obsidian to say they want romances and relationship developments to feel natural and then for Eder not to have one will be a punch in the gut. If that is truly the case. Anyone tried romancing him as an Orlan? So far Maia and the other new guy feel very forced and have already both propositioned my watcher and we haven't even been through anything together yet!!!
