  2. I was thinking spurs, chaps and a saddle but hey different strokes ...... I really have to stop drinking wine before I post ... I keep getting my genres confused.
  3. I'm still laughing over the reactions of Cassandra et al ... that is some funny ****.
  4. My patience is even thinner. I have zero patience with ads ... that's why everything I watch I buy on DVD/blu ray. I simply can't stand the ads.
  5. LOL True. It's a combination of the worst parts of "Jackass" and "Sharknado". Jersey Boys directed by Clint Eastwood is pretty good unless you absolutely hate Frankie Valli and/or the Four Seasons.
  6. Might be your hardware throttling due to heat. Yeah. I think I've finally hit the wall, I had trouble with AC: Black Flag too. Time to either enjoy some older games or man up and buy a new system. Or I could buy it for the PS4. Which I own. But that sounds like defeat talking. And I don't want to pay twice for it. Hurlshot, what are your system specs for the Laptop?
  7. Bad judgement call there young grasshopper, its okay to assume guilt if you are right about the accusation The pattern and frequency of the rape charges tell us something, celebrities don't get this degree of victimisation unless there is something to it Wow Bruce. So because your SJW "spidey-sense" is tingling you're ready to pronounce Cosby guilty without hearing any actual evidence? Seriously? And this from the guy who defended the Canadian courts for letting an alleged contract killer free because they had heard evidence that we hadn't. Talk about a double standard! Thank god you can never serve on a jury in the US (or South Africa) if you are willing to prejudge the guilt or innocence of a man without hearing all the facts. You know better (or at least you should) Badly played, Bruce. Badly played. Now you making me feel guilty....that's unfair I think most people think he is guilty of some charges of abuse, I'm just saying it openly No, what is unfair is you prejudging him without hearing all the facts. Sorry, you're not getting any sympathy from me.

  9. @Hurlshot - are you playing on PC or Console?
  10. Here's the full soundtrack or DA:I if anyone wants to hear it: http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/Dragon+Age+Inquisition/9954806 All of the music for DA:I was composed by Trevor Morris (who also did music for The Tudors, The Borgias and Vikings)
  11. Thanks for the info on the streamers. Yes, you're right. The folks giving 10s without playing the game aren't any better. Neither action justifies the other imo. PS: Found Cohhcarnage's stream on Twitch. I saw one instance of stutter related to a character path finding problem. Didn't see any combat stutter although there might have been some frame rate drops once or twice. Party banter is really good. HUGE game world and LOTS of exploration to do. I think I see where the Fed Ex / collection quest comments are coming from. Still watching. His twitch stream is probably going to be running for a few days. http://www.twitch.tv/cohhcarnage
  12. You're missing the point. The stutter comment was simply to point out that PD didn't have first hand experience with it (or some of the other issues he has with the game) because he didn't play the game. Simple enough. You might be right that there is an actual problem with stutter - but I simply won't take PD's word for it, or any of the rest of his critique for that matter, since he hasn't played the game himself and hasn't experienced that problem first hand. For all I know, the stutter problems he claimed exists might be from playing the game on an under spec system. How the heck do I know? I sure can't ask him what system he played the game on because, oh wait he didn't play it. Seriously, wouldn't you want input from someone who has actually played the game instead of second hand information? PD is entitled to his "opinion" about DA:I but passing that off as an actual review is BS. How much simpler can I make it? FWIW I am holding off on buying DA:I until the price drops (if I buy it at all). But I will do so after I read some honest critiques of the game based on actual in game experience. PD's "review" doesn't qualify. PS: Can you provide links to videos of those streams please? Not that I doubt you - I'm actually curious as to what real issues might exist.
  13. I have to admit the MX518 is the most comfortable mouse I've used. Looking for something as close to that as I can get. Thanks for all the suggestions folks.
  14. There's a big difference between saying "I won't buy this game because of what I saw on streams / videos / previews etc." and passing off that "opinion" as a "review" based on actually playing the game. The former is fair game; the latter is simply lying. Reread PD's "opinion". It reads as though he has actually played the game (e.g. game stutter). The entire text reads as though he has actually played the game and by his own admission he has not. Now do you get it? Ninja'd by Tale.
  15. ^this I wonder how many of the folks who haven't played a game and posted a "user review" of it are also grousing about ethics in game journalism?
  16. You probably should have prefaced that review with the following comment since they both come from the same person. LOL
  17. And Cooks is out for 4 to 6 weeks as well. What a cluster flop!
  18. Replaying Mass Effect 2 (and ignoring every possible romance option because I can) ....
  19. You can also get Witcher2 for free but you have to visit GoG every day for a week. Most people already have it but it might be worth getting it for a backup.
  20. It was free for a limited time. How would I describe it? I get to fulfill my dream of world domination. Mount and Blade was still free as of 10pm EST. It's in my library right now.
  21. No he did not Bruce. The US troop withdrawal was actually agreed to by Bush before Obama took office. Obama simply adhered to an already agreed upon timeline for the troop withdrawal. And in point of fact, Obama attempted to extend the SOFA with Iraq which would have kept US ground troops in Iraq beyond that time frame. Why you insist on giving him credit for an agreement he was simply a bystander to is beyond me.
  22. First the GoP must muster the necessary 3/5ths of the Senate (60 votes) to invoke cloture on a Democrat filibuster on any bill designed to repeal Obamacare. Their slim majority makes that unlikely albeit not impossible. What is more likely to happen is the GoP will attempt to amend Obamacare by attaching riders to must pass legislature.
  23. Great series. Congrats Giants. Bumgarner ...... words fail me.
  24. The game against the Packers is not going to be pretty.
  25. In fairness, with Friedman gone, why in the world would Maddon want to continue working for one of the cheapest teams in the league? Maddon had an opt-out clause in his contract (which ran thru 2015) which he could trigger if Friedman left. On top of that, reports are that contract extension talks between Maddon and the Rays front office were, errr, contentious and Maddon felt that he was being low balled. He'll find a soft spot to land. Epstein and Hoyer have him in their sites already, PS: How about those Royals?
