I happen to really, really like WC: Prophecy...much more entertaining to me in terms of combat than it's predecessors. The plot was decent too, with some all right performances and...stuff. "...we shall be bathed in our own blood and rotted flesh shall be our fare..." And I love the opening narrative. How about X-Wing Alliance? It made an attempt at an actual story, unlike XvT, and I thought it succeeded fairly well...and with a texture mod I found (some 250MB worth.) it actually looks better now. Academy was cool at first and the combat was fun, but once you finish it...that's it. Linear as all hell, accepting your choices of what missions to take in what order. I liked Outcast better, since it had more of a story going for it.

Just felt sluggish and a bit inaccurate to me...then again, I'm an avid FPS player, so that may have contributed.

I liked it and all, but it was short, and the side quests just...well, they were either fed-ex in nature (Pony Express) or "go kill this" (Wanted posters+Sheriff+U.S. Marshal). The story, on the other hand, short as it was, still held my attention throughout the entire game. VO was great...and I didn't recognize the voices as belonging to particular people...maybe because I've never seen the cast list before. Controls=Clunky, but you learn them well enough after a while of play time. Graphics=Bit dated, but still decent...odd problems though where the entire level would disappear on me though. Music=Westerny. Gameplay=Entertaining; especially capping some ugly S.O.B. in the head with those sweet dual revolvers. Replay Value=Slim to nill, as the game's quite linear. 7 or an 8 on my scale. Which means absolutely nothing! Oh, and... HORSIES!!!

Oddly interesting....if only I had the cash...

Or just zoom in on the area a bit and click yours.

This is a highly suspect phrase. A bottle of iced tea and a Ham, miracle whip, cheese, lettuce wrap....thingy.

Dead on. The combat in most RPGs is just...well, it's more for strategical purposes, rather than any sense of immersion, which is one major thing people seem to like to bitch about when it comes to the genre. -
.... ... ...... :D

Must be murder on your bank account...all that wasted gas...ending up in the Bronx when you were headed to L.A....that sort of thing.

But what if you're not good with maps? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then how do you get anywhere?

Agreed...it's the eyes, man. First thing I notice.

Only knowing a few words of German, and that one phrase, I....have no idea what the hell has been said. Other than "Du", I'm getting a blank...and babel's translator is screwy. Oh...Tostitos Rounds with apple cranberry juice!

Don't worry, 'tish. Already sorta do. But I've got this awful thing where I care more about others than I do myself, and all I'd of done with the money would be to spend it on games or the like. This way, I'm makin' friends happy at least.
-
Indeed.
-
I'm dumb.

I'm confused...lost...and strangely aroused. Ack...er.......uh.................Yeah, well, to address that "you shouldn't have to spend money to make her happy" thing, I can make her happy without doing so, it's just cool to see her light up like that. Seriously, her eyes get all bright and she gets a huge grin on her face. :D She's just a friend though, and I highly doubt it's going anywhere..her having a BF who treats her like complete **** and all...whom she loves for some reason. I love teenage girls...such a distinct absence of sense. Moving on...anybody else? C'mon, anybody besides Mr. Mkreku who can shame me and my pitiful $1,000?
