  1. Processor would be a pretty bad bottleneck too, I'd imagine, for newer titles.
  2. And what, like two grand went to getting our troops the body armor they needed? <_< Where's all that money going to?
  3. Well, damn.
  4. Try re-installing. Worked for me with my problem. Anywho, 'nother Bloodlines question. Spoiler tags, just for Mr. Meta.
  5. But it's $35! $35 that could be used for gaming, drinking, porn, an hour of scuba lessons from a schizo former shark hunter, oral lessons from a broke college student desperately trying to pay her tuition.....the possibilites are endless!
  6. Nope, it's patched, and it does the same thing in three different games. But hell, may as well reinstall anyway. Thanks.
  7. Heh...got your attention. No, I don't have a link to some amazing site which helps with every game and its problems... I did, however, have the not-so-bright idea to start a thread specifically devoted to posting problems you may be having in a game, with others either giving advice, or links to advice. Why? I can. To start things off... In Bloodlines, I seem to be having a problem I can't find the answer to...I keep getting a CTD every time I enter a building in Downtown then exit it. Any building. No matter how much time I spend in there, or what I do in the interim between entering and leaving. I'm confused. And annoyed. Definitely annoyed. So any aid would be appreciated. Feel free to ask and answer questions of your own.
  8. I got a chill.
  9. The mod left........wtf?? Do your jobs, people!!! What are they paying you-.....oh.
  10. U R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Point proven. :'(
  11. Yeah, this is sort of gettting ridiculous.
  12. Why do I find myself agreeing with most, if not everything he, meaning Baley, just said?
  13. Um...send them on their way, unharmed, safe, and alive? With a 20 in their back pocket?
  14. Thread. Moving. Too. Fast.
  15. If it means not being able to complete the game because you tossed that random key which, for all intents and purposes, looked and was named just like the 100 or so keys you found beforehand, then yes, that's a fault in the design. Even worse if you spent some 200 hours playing before finding that out. Just mentioning the opposite extreme. I know I have a point here somewhere...
  16. Low blow, Raven.
  17. Unbreakable in normal gameplay, but not to player stupidity. If you are going to be stupid, live and die with the consequences. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So, the player is an idiot if they dropped a "Rusty Iron Key" they found at level 1, which would then be needed at level 50 to open one particular chest in the end game? There's two extremes there, hand holding by not allowing quest items to be dropped, or screwing the player over completely...
  18. Neither. That would be a STUPID MOVE OF THE PLAYER. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Check and mate, or bug? Is it really the devs' job to make sure their players aren't complete morons? Now, even cooler would have been if doing so would have triggered another branch in the story, where you eventually find out someone picked it up, and you have to hunt it down or something. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, it's understandable and not bad design if the player exhibits an abnormal level of stupidity...since it's obvious the Amulet of Kings is needed to further the story. It's bad design if the item in question isn't obviously required later on.
  19. There's a peculiar charm about it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No you said it makes you horny. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did not!
  20. There's a peculiar charm about it.
  21. True. Much better to have played it to fruition before giving an opinion, especially one as venomous as that, Volo.
  22. Breaking Benjamin - I Wish I May
  23. Strangely arousing.
  24. No clue on the name, I just know starforce was in there somewhere. Far as I can tell, the process kept stacking...over the course of weeks and months. Probably unfair to attribute the problem enitrely to StarForce, since that's something a virus usually does, but it was strange how nothing but its processes were stacking. Also not good that I rarely turn my computers off...also also, the thing was old, so it might just have been its time.
