i personally liked nearly all the places in the first KOTOR. All of them had some cool things about them. The places in the second one were okay, until you got to Korriban. That was just a waste of time. no real adventure or anything on that planet. they could have at least put some side quests or somethin else one it, but no, they just had to make it pointless. However, i guess they made up for it with all the random sidfe quests you could have on Nar Shaddaa. But still, i was disappointed.

What is your favorite STAR WARS aircraft?
Reven of Earth replied to walkerguy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The X-Wing all they way. ONe of the most classic ships, and one of the best fighters. TIE's are faster, they don't have the sheilding an X-Wing does. -
I"m not sure as to which graphics card you have, cause i'm not really into all this computer stuff, but i have read that KOTOR doesn't seem to agree with certain graphics cards. I don't know why, but if you have something like that, then it will lag a bit. I can't really help you fix it though. NOt my area of expertise

thanks -
in KOTOR2 i'm at the point where after you first talk to Atris and she says you can get your companions and take your ship and head to dantooine. But for some reason i can't get my companions. They aren't in the chamber she says they're in. Atton is out by the entrance to the facility along with kreia. But everytime i click to talk to atton it says: 1 [cheat node] continue PC conversation with Atris 2 [Cheat node] COntinue conversation with kreia I have no idea what those are. I click on the first one and i just go through the whole long conversation with atris again. I click on the second one, nothing happens. And if i click to talk to kreia, nothing happens. So i don't know what this is, or whether its just a glitch of some sort in the game. Does anyone know what to do here?

Do you let your character fall to the dark side
Reven of Earth replied to hugh750's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I do whatever i feel like. I prefer the middle cause there are times when the light side way is more fun, or easier, but then again, the same can be said for the darkside -
I'm not too big into all this computer stuff at all, so i won't even attempt to talk about that. But if you can never get it fixed so it doesn't freeze, you could always just quick save a lot so you can keep advancing no matter what, but i wouldn't recommend that, cause it definetly takes away from the experience.

Things you'll never forget about Kotor
Reven of Earth replied to Sturm's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I will never forget in KOTOR2 when you first get to nar shadaa how you can force persuade the thugs to jump off the edge. DS of course. -
Did the Battle of Endor really change history?
Reven of Earth replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It certaintly changed history for the Rebellion, but if they hadn't won, nothing would have really changed fro them. They'd still have been fighting to beat the Empire, even if sidious had died. When the vong showed up, if the empire had still been strong they would have been defeated faster. However the chances of them remaining strong for that long are pretty slim. -
I had a similar problem in the first game. I don't know if this will work in your case, but i would just keep quick saving each step or two and i would progress by saves instead of actual movement. Its slow but it might work. In a last ditch effort if you haven't tried this already is uninstall and then reinstall your game again. You shouldn't lose your game so don't worry about that.

What would you do if you became a sith lord.
Reven of Earth replied to hugh750's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I say do both If you conquer one planet, you're going to want more. So i would start out by taking one planet, then as more people decide to be stupid and rise agianst me, i take out more planets. Eventually i will have the whole galaxy. -
Definetly Gray. I can't stand litsening to orders from all those old jedi masters, yet i wouldn't want to constantly be in competition with all the other siths for power either. My role model in this situation is definetly Jolee. What better life than hat of living away from all authority doing whatever you wish and having no one around to judge you for it.

Top 5 KOTOR 1 and 2 foes.
Reven of Earth replied to OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
AS i read this forum, i see more and more people putting darth traya. Honestly, i didn't find her hard at all. ALl i did was run around until the three lightsabers got lost from each other then i took them on one by one. But I will have to say calo nord was pretty hard. -
Top 5 KOTOR 1 and 2 foes.
Reven of Earth replied to OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In KOTOR1 i thought the hardest thing was Malak at the end. Although if you decide to actually fight the rancor in the sewers he can be pretty hard. In KOTOR2 the only person i found to be at all challenging was Sion -
K1 & K2 Preferred Parties
Reven of Earth replied to pantherus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In K1: I used the first time bastilla and carth. Then I found out they weren't that great. So the next times i played the game, i used Jolee and Zalabar because jolee cracks me up and zalabar is really strong and hard to kill. In K2: I normally use visas and Atton. Every now and then i would put baro-dur(not sure on spelling) in cause i got tired of atton. -
The Star Forge vs Malachor V
Reven of Earth replied to Diego Varen's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Starforge was so much better than malacor v. KOTOR2 overall was just too easy. The starforge offered more challenges, or at least harder ones, which made it more interesting. -
I agree with all that has been posted. Although i would hope that game stays away from homosexual relationships (no offense intended to anyone) i just don't think it belongs in the star wars universe. My suggestion for KOTOR 3 would be a continuation of the second one as the exile. In the end of the second , both LS and DS your ship comes out of nowhere and you fly away...yea pretty stupid ending....but we never conclude what happens to the exile. So i think they should make it so you play as the exile and continue your search for Revan on your own. Then as you encounter new worlds, you pick up new team members and mroe quests and eventually you will find Revan. But i think whether or not Revan is LS or DS depends on how you play the game. I feel that if you play the game LS, Revan should turn out to be DS, and if you play DS, Revan should turn out to be LS. But either way, together, they should re-balance the galaxy. Yes, i know my user name is spelled wrong. I created it before i really knew that much about KOTOR. Now i've played the games both ways multiple times, and am much more knowledgable than my former self.
