  1. isn't feeding your pets human food bad, not just as a it's fattening but it doesn't supply them with the right nutrients and can actually block them from getting the right nutrients, like i think remembering an example being cats drinking milk doesn't let them absorb a certain nutrient. but w/e i dont know anything As of right now I'm trying to hurry up doing a project for history. I didn't get my book till yesterday and its due on the 8th and I still need another book to complete it. I also have 2 assignments which are due tomorrow. Crickets have also stormed my room. I've gotten two of them but miraculously one appeared not a moment ago and it's pissing me off becuase he just disappeared. Also against my better judgement I'm going to go eat with my friend even though it's almost 10:30 and I have school in the morning early. Can't wait until this semester is over. Just finish this week then exams, then 40 or so days off.
  2. Definitely have to agree. The side quest planets were all the same, boring as hell and completely repetitive barren crappyness. The main story line planets were absolutely exciting to play and nice to look at. I wish they would have had put at least 5 or so planets that were half as in depth as those planets throughout the universe. Could be anything from conflicting pirate camps/colonists/anti-human-alien rebel groups and stuff. I mean even the prestige class mission wasn't made at main quest quality which is a real shame.
  3. I use mIRC but for more devious and perverse purposes.... long live pr0n
  4. There is a rivalry between the two. They made me choose between them and i choose the alien girl. I'm very interested in your ending though. What happened? Mine
  5. So I made some steaks last night and they were pretty good. So right now I'm in the process of eating what I didn't finish last night cold. It's supremely awesome. It's like as The Tod says "it's like a steak cookie." Oh gawd. I'm also drinking some iced green tea. Compliments of traders joes, truly a great place. And I'm going to play some halo 3 with my friend. Trying to get to level 45 in team doubles.
  6. Don't know if anyone has seen this or posted it but a new trailer just for the FRONT ARTWORK of GTA 4 it out but it's still pretty cool stuff. Says that the next trailer for the game is due December 6 which is only like 7 or so days from now so be on watch. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/28353.html
  7. I always like to do salmon on the grill or oven. Better if you enclose it so steam cook faster but I kind of like to leave it open so the butter caramelizes then I add lemon. But anyways. a little olive oil, salt and pepper, tons of garlic, tons of onions, then a nice squeeze of lemon to make an awesome tangy sauce. Make some rice or asparagus and your set. Very easy, very quick, very nice. It gets a too dark too early tho to grill so it's like :'( I reckon we'd get along just fine in the kitchen. Plenty of good flavours there. How'd you like curries? I'm afraid I've yet to really try curry. My dad, who is an awesome home cook tried it once but it wasn't exactly to my liking. I'm not sure it's something I would like anyways. I mean I love spices, but tons of cumin (they use a lot of that right?) isn't right up my alley. I'd be willing to try curry at a reputable restaurant but I doubt I'd be tantalized since I'm not a huge fan of spicy food. Yeah I'm a pretty boring person. I guess this time of year is good for stuff like meatloaf as well. My meatloaf recipe kind of sucks, every time I've made I've tinkered with it and the last batch I made was pretty decent however it doesn't really matter how it tastes when you smother it with gravy. Which brings me to another topic. Gravy. Gravy is pretty beyond delicious but I'd love to get a recipe for some country fried steak with the white gravy on top because that stuff is awesome. I know I could look online but thats too much work. And another thing I have trouble with is eggs. I mean I can cook eggs, over easy the only way I'll eat them, but they never turn out to be the same consistency as restaurants or taste anywhere near as good. I understand I'm not using cast iron nor a seasoned pan but I mean come on. I've tried all different kinds of heat settings and they never turn out quite right. I guess another huge factor is that my mom buys like a billion cartoons of eggs so you never know what is mildly fresh and what has been sitting there for God knows how long. It's a real travesty what I have to go through in life. But i do make a pretty mean flank steak fajitas which are way easy. Just take some flank or skirt steak, diamond cuts on the top, real shallow cuts just so the marinade can get in. Now normally i hate marinades becuase they usually make things suck but this isn't bad. Just rub it down with olive oil, salt and pepper. In a bowl combine about a ratio of 2:1 soy sauce to Worcester sauce, a very nice helping of honey, minced garlic, and a nice bit of some spicy chili garlic stuff. Then pour over the steak in a marinating container. After 2 hours flip it over, and let it sit for another 2 hours. Throw on hot grill until medium doneness then cut into strips making sure you cut against the grain so you aren't getting pure strips of tendons. Saute some yellow/red pepper and onions in a pan and combine on nicely warmed tortillas and your done. It should be very tender and sweet but not to the point where you can't taste good steak greatness. Or I just do a rub of salt, pepper, mixed Spanish seasonings and it comes out pretty nice. Beer can chicken is also quite good around this time. I've had a variation of pepsi can chicken that was actually very tasty if not better than traditional since someone drank all the beer....Just make sure you empty like half the can before you stand the chicken on it or in the event the chicken almost inevitably falls over whatever liquid you are using sloshes into the chicken, and as a my personal hero Alton Brown says, "That is not good eats." Just remember to coat the ENTIRE chicken with a nice bit of seasoning or else it's going to taste like anti-deliciousness.
  8. Yeah I played kotor and noticed the voice but didn't know about that other stuff. Thanks. I just finished the game. The very very end was pretty damn similar to kotor which kind of blew but leading up to it was pretty sweet. Loved it. Saren's "final form" was pretty tight however I wish he would of put more of a fight, then I realized I had it on casual from a previous session but w/e it was cool. Not quite sure how they are going to fit 2 more games unless they skip ahead like a few million years, unless they are able to travel faster than light without mass relays or they find a mass relay, then I guess they could continue with the commander.

  10. I thought something seemed a little odd about that. I'm not sure the reference though, or who Gaider is. Poor Kaiden
  11. It'd be awesome to make some French Onion Soup. Oh man that sounds madly delicious with a roast beef sammich on the side and deliciousnss everywhere Oh man that sounds awesome. Potato leak soup is also pretty amazing as well if made especially delicious by a trained hand.
  12. Mass Effect. Still, it's so beautiful and awesome. Main story is getting better and better by the second.
  13. I won't go into the specifics but once I'm old to support myself I'm moving and most likely never looking back. If I've learned anything its that even when you think you know someone you really don't. People always have ulterior motives; one day you are both in love and another you're willing to slit their throat. I'll probably never get married because I don't really see the point other than a financial partnership and tax breaks but I would like to have children. Hell if I'm wealthy enough I'd raise a kid or two on my own. Damn you Silas Marner. Either way, family definitely has benefits like loving grandparents and good parents if you are lucky but family carries way too much baggage for me. I'm messed up enough, the last thing I need is a bunch of dysfunctional weirdos worse off than me trying to drag me into their problems. Edit: Read tale's post. Pretty much in the same boat except I'm not insanely smart, however I do think I'm a lot better than most people because I suppose I do possess some form of common sense at times. Not to mention people generally just piss me off, I'm usually an outsider alienating myself from society. I just can't stand how stupid people are at times. But mainly "In short, I'm a **** and I kind of like it." Totally agree.
  14. Some of the writing you encounter is truly quite good but sometimes its also pretty bad. There was one side mission I went on and I killed this chick and it was like "You check her body and hold her up, she looks at you with a wry smile of respect and tries to speak but only blood comes out." or something but it read really sweet at the time. There are mainly 2 things that are really frustrating me at this point in time. Driving the mako and inventory. Just driving around the barren landscapes is boring and monotonous enough, why does it also handle crappy and everything has to be so rocky and annoying to navigate. Storage itself doesn't bother me much since it's divided into your weapon categories however theres no organized compiled list of all your items but what gets me the most is the 150 item limit especially when all they do is throw items at you until you are packed down. I've been on like 3 major selling sprees and already almost have my one million creds achievement and I've barely even started the main quest, not to mention I've omni-gelled countless items that i could of sold for cash. Besides those I have few other qualms with the game. Texture loading, elevator times, loading screens, haven't been big issues but they do weigh down the experience. I enjoy the combat quite a bit. It's short enough that you don't feel bogged down with doing a bunch of crazyness but it's not so short that you don't have to focus and actually try. Story thus far has been moderately average but you can definitely see they have put an insane amount of time in how much writing they've done for all the journal, codex, dialogue, and planet descriptions. A lot of the situations you are put in make you think, it sounds cheesy and you have probably heard it before but there are times when I've stopped and stared at the text wondering if I was in that situation what I would actually do. Even though I'm still only in the very begining of the story (I have 20 hours logged in on side quests) the small amount of character development I've seen I like immensely. I'd say what works in the game overshadows anything bad by a large enough margin that it's really just an after thought at the end of the day. Game is executed beautifully and is huge amounts of win. I'd give it a 94/100. A conservative 94.
  15. As of now GTA 4 is the only game I'm looking forward too.
  16. I was thoroughly confused as well when I first tried. http://andrew.j.moylan.googlepages.com/masseffectquasargame I talked to my companions again and was able to get some really good stuff out of them. I may have gone a bit too fast with Liara but she confessed her undying passion for the heat im packing and Ashely isn't as much as a cold blood turkish prostitute anymore. Awesome character development so far. Oh yeah, Wrex's story is pretty sweet. Lets just say people get daggered in the chest to death.
  17. Like every Bioware game save BG2, the romance subplots are tied to the main storyline. So you won't progress through them as you go through all the sidequests. As a male, there's Ashley Williams and Liara. I think by default Liara is the squeeze and you have to tell her you want to be friends in order to advance with Ashley, but I haven't tested that assumption or anything. Maybe I missed something. For females there's Kaidan and Liara, I think. Yeah early in the game I talked to Ashley and she is an extreme rooster tease. I was like playing it real smooth and was like "So I can order you to kiss anyone? " And she was like "That would be against the rule of fraternizing and I'd have you bring you up on charges" or something like that. She's a tough cookie but I'll break her will, sooner or later. I got my prestige class but in the process I got bombarded by all kinds horribly horribleness. The upside I had the Quarian with me and I was able to get all the containers not to mention the mission was easy, the downside my inventory was so full that I had to omnigel about 20 things through out the mission then towards the end I was FORCED to omnigel 32 items that I just received before I could do anything at all. Some of them looked like I could sell them for quite a bit. So I've decided to head back to the Citadel early and just sell as much stuff as I can then maybe buy some really good gear. Advice: Don't be a pack rat like me, after a few missions sell what ever excess loot you aren't going to use because it'll really sneak up on you and you'll hit the 140 mark and get warnings left and right and have to omnigel anything new you get once you go over 150.
  18. Pretty much all districts though if I remember correctly c-sec is a good place to start and the quests kind of expand from there to other districts. I mean there are easily 10-15 quests in the begining you can do, you just gotta move around and find anyone you can talk to and then those sometimes expand to a few more quests. Ride the elevator a few times here and there and pick up some outer space missions and you'll be stacked and ready to go for up to 20 hours like me. And when I decided to go to Noveria I still had like 3 quests left in my journal to complete.
  19. I finally went into the main story and wow was this part really drawn out and long. I mean I finally see how my friend got like 9 levels on me even though I had the game 2 days before him. I was seriously really pissed all the way through and it made me real angry because I didn't have anyone with a competent electronics skills and there were about 15 or so containers that I was unable to get. The mission at the end was pretty cool though, I mean for a mission so early in the game (if you choose) it was some extremely serious stuff that I hope translates into the next game. I won't divulge what happened but I'll say that I let the "Queen Bee" live, however, Ashley didn't think it was a good idea which sucks becuase I'm really itching to bang her into next week if you catch my drift. That's something I've noticed about this game. It's not like kotor where you can just have a long indepth speech with your companions and get some really good comradery. You're lucky if you can get anything out of them unless it's plot driven which kind of makes me mad. Then again I have only done 1 main quest outside of the very first one you are forced into so I guess I can understand why they aren't very talkative.
  20. A LOT. I spent the entire like first 4 hours or so on the citadel doing quests and I've gone back there and did another 2 or so hours of newly acquired quests. Edit: Oh yeah I got my mission to the moon. Yaaaay
  21. It's better than when you pay and still no lip service or even a palm shake. Girls, you can't freakin trust em. Oh yeah I watched half of OldBoy then turned it off becuase I just wasn't feeling it. Still awesome sound track and stuff tho.
  22. Honestly I'd really recommend getting your charm up, if you want to be a good cop, or intimidate, if you wanna be renegade, before you do certain quests like those. Trust me, I did a lot of quests like these before I had any charm/intimidate skill points at all and missed out on a ton of interesting dialogue choices and of course tons of Paragon/Renegade points. As far as I know the points don't really do anything for you achievement wise however they might give you better standing within your team giving you extra xp and stuff in the long run. Edit: Also if anyone has been wondering, because I sure have, about prestige classes they are confirmed. Basically you have:
  23. Yeah I tried a new team and destroyed. Anyways, anyone find a way to kill the thresher maul yet? If you've been to Trebin in the Hades cluster - Antaeus system you'll come in contact with one and probably die.
  24. OMG OMG > DAMN UUUU this fight is super hard it's ridiculous. I can get past the first part now but I'm trying to actually save the hostage but this black man is being completely unreasonable. I mean yeah k2 biotic users got screwed BUT LEAVE THE CHAIRMAN ALONE. He's just a poor white man with a family. :'( NOOOOOOOO now i cant beat the begining. This is seriously tough. Maybe I'm just gimped or something...but I take cover and I somehow I get nailed with a biotic that makes me go rag doll on the ground. Then they proceed to abuse me with a broomstick until my just a lifeless corpse on a stainless steel cargo bay bleeding and cryings and dead. And Wrex dies so unbeleivably quick and the chick is like ILL AVENGE YOU then rape time ensues and she quickly figures out why should of never gone into the military. Tragic story of my life. :'( Ok wow. This is seriously starting to get frustrating. I've equiped a good anti-biotic suit. I've used my shield spells on all my guys. I have them take cover in a superior position and I'm able to take like 3 guys out quite quickly. But they use one move that somehow gets me when I'm like behind a wall. They use that then my whole team is on the ground. Then 3 - 4 just slam us with biotics and weapon fire and we all die in like seconds. Edit again: Also changed all my rounds on all my allies weapons and mine to take out organics. I mean maybe i just suck :'(
  25. OMG. I went on this mission to save this dude who was taken hostage from a bunch of biotic users and they are destroyed me. I've had to restart the mission 4 times already. Second time I got to the point where I actually saw the hostage, the other times I've been killed in the opening section. So unbelievably hard.
