I'm going to trust in Dr. Drew since he's specialized in drug addiction and say that drugs are bad. The majority of psychotropics have no business being in people's lives unless prescribed by a licensed physician. Marijuana I have some sympathy for because Joe Rogan taught me it was some kind of paper vs hemp conspiracy a long time ago but even then the marijuana now is potent and dangerous.

Sorry my wording was unclear. My computer can handle the game, I'm sure of that, but I would like to play on a reasonable setting that doesn't look like s and doesn't crawl or explode my mainframe.

The closer the release date comes the more I worry about my system handling the game. In the begining I thought it wouldn't be a problem since it didn't look all that intensive but now I'm not so sure. I just don't think my 7900 will handle it too well. I could always play on my xbox but that would be a serious bastardization. Damn computers.

He could be a power bottom. I wouldn't rule anything out, it is a dark and gritty fantasy after all.

I couldn't get into it. Maybe it's the whole "educators as complete tards" angle that he really pushes. I used to work in the education department at my last school and got to see a lot of the next generation of teachers as well as applications for current ones. It was scary. But hey you're a smart chap so no problem. Well I guess I should mention that the majority of my teachers have been pretty good with the exception of maybe one. I remember she was sitting on a desk and fell over and gave a kid a straight view right into the depths of her woman abyss. She was kind of hot but dumb. I miss high school......hmm maybe not.

Went to the dentist yesterday. I'm not a spiritual man but I'd say its the closest thing to heaven on earth. Everything is so clean, relaxing and the people are so nice and there's even this "man" if you want to call him such a thing. He's tall, handsome, blue eyed, white haired and emanates infinite patience and kindness; kind of like how I'd imagine God in human form. Just being in the lobby makes me happy. I could never understand why anyone would hate the dentist it's like the greatest place on earth. All I have to do today is get through my two classes and then I have a 4 day weekend. Of course it ends the day before dragon age release, horse s.

Might as well give it a shot. But when you get towards the end and it feels like things couldn't get much worse....that's when its time to stop because it does get worse.

Isn't it illegal to fire a weapon into the air? You could hurt a poor cat a mile away or something.

Not a movie but a tv horror series; Harper's Island. Not quite sure why I continued watching the entire thing because it had an over abundance what makes all horror movies unwatchable and that is the complete lack of intelligence in any characters, including the killer. Essentially its Scream on an island. The first half of the series was watchable and some of the kills were relatively cool but the last 3-4 episodes were just painful to watch. The drama and characters were horrible and their motivations were usually horrendously retarded. Well shot movie and the island looks like a place I'd like to go but other than that the experience was pretty dismal. Harper's Island gets a D+ I also finished watching another tv series called Defying Gravity. You know you can fool me with the whole trinity of whores thing and even the but the old child rapist turned dog rescuer trick is the oldest one in the book. Your so lucky you got Ron Livingston and you use his narration frequently because for the the latter part of the series its complete trash. Defying Gravity: Season 1 gets a generous C+

I'm like 5 minutes in and it really is a bizarre event. They did a little pull back and you could see a bunch of bored teenagers hanging out. :'(

Yeah honestly the first one I really liked. The story was simple but it was executed well and you always knew pretty much what was going on. It was a little hokey at times but it got the job done in a competent and entertaining manner. The second one was pretty much completely incomprehensible with respect to story and characters. It's like in the first 30 minutes and then the only characters left are ones who have 0 fleshed out/worthwhile personalities. I had no problem with the hispanic kid but the rest of the autobots was like who are these things? what the hell are they doing, why are you doing this to me, shut up leave me alone!?!? And then the story was horrible.

Rofl I watched this last night and agreed on all points. The airbrushing part was hilarious and it wasn't just devastators testicles, there was like a huge emphasis on scrotal trauma in this movie and I'm not quite sure where that inspiration came from. I mean every 15 minutes had something to do with balls. I laughed because I'm a 12 year old at heart but after like the 8th time it was more for the absurdity of how monumental the budget it has and how low brow they are going for laughs. The pot brownie thing was retarded as well, that needs to be outlawed from now on. It's not and was never funny. Please stop. While it had all these problems they were really just a small drop in the bucket compared to the incredible abuse in pacing and disjointed story telling. Whoever penned this story should be ashamed and him and Bay must have been on speed together becuase it was just ADHD throughout the entire film. I won't lie though, I did enjoy it at least for the action which was sufficient. I just don't understand who you have to give oral to to get a decent plot in one of these, it's not that difficult.

Is anyone going to follow this dragon age competition thing? It's the 28th but I'm unsure if they are actually going to be streaming the gameplay. It could be a nice in-depth look at the game or it could just be a serious waste of time. http://kotaku.com/5390089/bioware-hosts-24...age-competition Edit: New video http://www.gametrailers.com/video/creature...ragon-age/58170

Sounds like they need to take some cooperative measures with law enforcement by putting various warnings and what not on these devices as well as charging a whole hell of a lot for calling for help. Kind of like the ambulance except you still get charged even if you don't do transport. In fact, if its a false alarm they should charge you more.

Thank you, slug. Now I feel bad that you feel into my trap. Because I was going to say "Does this mean we can have sex now?" :'(

You should become one of them writer types Maria. That was actually pretty good.

Good point. Yeah Wals that coat is a little crazy in the someones gonna get loved tenderly against their will look. I'd go with something more regular overcoatish that is longer than a regular coat but not tenchcoat long.

I suggest compiling various small critter pelts, denim, and sand paper; then welding them to a bath robe. If you prefer, submerge in the darkest stain available.

Yeah definitely knew they weren't going to die but I wasn't quite expecting the way in which the ship recharged its batteries. Also poor Eli. Kid can't catch a break because his girl is a good for nothing trollop. And bit at the end with the captain and Rush was pretty good.

I have to delay my purchase until December 9th for school reasons. I had initially planned an amazing Thanksgiving binge which I was really looking forward to. Last years binge featured mass effect and I enjoyed the hell out of it for like 4 days straight of hardcore gaming. Now I will just have turkey sandwiches and massive amounts of studying to do. You're the lucky ones getting your game 3 days late, for I will have to wait an entire lifetime for mine.

You born with water on your head boy?

As far as I know they've already explained where the darkspawn come from in like 50% of the trailers that have been shown. Something about mages becoming corrupted and becoming monsters or some other nonsense.

Pretty solid episode. Crazy ending and while the music playing was nice I didn't think it fit at all. Either way crazy stuff and hot lesbianism equates into relative entertainment for 40 minutes.

A quick read of this thread suggests we actually do, but it's all in accountant speak. Am I correct? http://au.messages.yahoo.com/finance/finan...ocktalk/114401/ Also: http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content....ntent/36586.htm Sorry friend but I still see no such deduction. This guy wraps it up pretty much straight out of my notes: (except for the capital gains tax of 50%, we don't have that in America as far as I know.) "Capital losses can only be offset against Capital Gains. If you have no capital gains - you carry forward the losses until you do. You carry forward the full amount of the loss and offset it against the gain. If the asset was held for over 12 months - you then pay cgt on 50% of the remainder. You cannot offset capital losses against normal income." Example: You have $5,000 of capital gain in 2009. You also happen to have $6,000 of capital loss in the same year. Thus you have a total $1,000 capital loss. In America you would be able to take that loss and deduct it straight out of your AGI or Ordinary income. If the loss exceeded $3,000 then you would simply carry the loss into more tax years. These losses continue to offset capital gains and if again you have excess loss you can take the deduction up to $3,000. As far as I see, you guys do the same thing except you don't get the $3,000, you can only offset your capital gains in future years. However, you guys do only have to pay tax on half of your capital gains once they've been netted with capital losses, which is pretty cool.
