Its a better idea than Kirk/Spock iin their Academy days. What would be optimal is them ditching Star Trek altogether and create an original science fiction movie.

I don't think it should be based on Kirk and Spock at all. Personally I like to see the new series of movies deal with a whole new crew and whole new ship during the time of the Earth-Romulan war.

The purpoe of copy protection is to annoy legitimate users. Can't you see that is the case? Really.

First off we are talking about science fiction movies, Grommie and the Star Wars prequels were crap in comparison to Serenity. Spider Man movies and the X Men movies are not sci fi, but comic book movies. Not even in the same catagory. Also what is this fixation of River and her violent tendacies. In the movie she got overly violent twice and the rest of the time she was well, nonviolent if not a little loopy. Besides in the second violent bit it was going back and forth with Mal's battle with the Operative.

The Spike movie isn't fan based work. It will have James Marsters and rumored to have Amy Acker and Alyssan Hannigan in thier respective roles. Alsoit is rumored that the BBC wants to do a 13 episode series with Anthony Stewart Head reprising his role as Giles called Ripper.

It basically changes the nature of Han Solo's character.

That is one advantage that Bethesda has and why I haven't completely written off the game. I may be pessimistic but I would love to be pleasantly surprised by what bethesda does with the franchise.

Yeah, but it make sense of them continuing what they are good at, from their point of view, in order to make a good game. Doing something innovative is a risk and not many developement houses and publisher care to do something they aren't use to that way they can minimize "mistakes."

Because they said they are going to stick with what they are good at and well for the most part Elder Scrolls are good games. Except for the Oblivion minigames. I hate minigames.

Sure they can make a good CRPG but can hey make a good Fallout? That is the questionhere. Oblivion was a decent Elder Scrolls game but if they use that format for the new Fallout game, it would be a very poor and terrible Fallout game.

Its not specualtion, because it will never happen. Speculation on something requires that it might happen.
