Sounds pretty simple to me.

The problem with the Codex is that a good chunk of them, though not all of them, insult and flame those who don't share their opinions. That is when it goes too far. If a battle of opinions can happen without flaming and insult flinging, that is when it is fun.

OPinions and facts, they aren't that difficult to discern. Any 8th grader could do it. Just because Volourn states his opinions without the "in your opinion" line doesn't mean he is trying to spout if off as fact. I know I certaily don't. If you don't agree with his opinions state your own. OPinions battling each other is fun to watch.
