  1. I owned the Star Wars d20 for a while now and my roommate owns quite a number of WEG books.
  2. Been here at Obsidian when they first open them. Bioware's KotOR when I first got the game.
  3. Force Heal doesn't regenerate flesh. If you lose an arm you cannot use Force Heal to grow it back. It accelerates the normal healing rate of the Jedi, not make it do what it cannot do normally. Also a Jedi reflexes cannot block or avoid indirect fire such as a grenade.
  4. Force heal has its limitations. It can't regenerate lost organs like a heart or three quaters of a lung.
  5. The force doesn't help you one bit if you have a 6 inch diameter hole in your torso.
  6. I am a former movie watcher. Avid fan of the original trilogy, hate the stupidity of the prequels, and I have read only three star wars novels (the Zahn Trilogy).
  7. If KotOR2 comes out on DVD I would buy it just to support the format.
  8. I want my DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD!
  9. Force Choke, Force Jump, Force Push, Force Lightning... Of course you think that this would be a straight up fight. You sniper a Jedi/Sith force user.
  10. 0 means dead in my book. Not this negative Wound points bull.
  11. Of course he would say that. He's bias.
  12. I'll use my "Blast and Smash" and tear up your Jedi with indirect fire from the grenade launcher. Use your lightsaber all you want, you can't deflect High explosives and concussion shockwaves. BWAAAHAAAAHAAAAAAA!
  13. Exactly. A lightsaber is only a glowing pointy stick and quite boring. Double bladed Light saber is only doubly boring.
  14. My droid combat pilot had one built into his arm as a pop-up. Very nice and effective weapon.
  15. It is also obvious to me that you don't know many blasters and rifles of the Star Wars universe. One of the best Blaster Rifles, in effective stopping power and elegance is Prax Arms Model AXM-50 "Blast and Smash" It was a strong Blaster Rifle with a micro-grenade launcher hooked underbarrel style. Typical clip for the blaster was 250 shots while the micro grenade s came in clips of 30. Good amount of damage and versitility. Lets see your Jedi deflect indirect fire. Another blaster of unique and elegant design is SoroSuub's bual barrelled Bi-Polar blaster carbine. It is two blaster barrels that generate opposite ploarity blaster bolts. Whe the two bolts stike the same target resulting connection creates a large energetic reaction. Even if the Jedi deflect one the second bolt is coming in too quick for a second deflection slamming into the Jedi. Blasters can be very elegant and very useful. :D
  16. The only thing I would want out of the plaents is real exploration instead of everything being constrained. I hated that in KotOR1. When I was in Kashyyk(msp?) I wanted the chance of getting lost. Not going to happen in the way the set it up which was downright sad.
  17. The one thing I like to see is Force usage is more like the PnP game. In the PnP game you have Vitality and Wound scores. Each time you use the force your Vitality goes down. Also anytime you get hit your Vitality goes down. When you get to zero vitality you take wound damage. Wound score equals tot he character's Constitution. If a critical hit is done it does normal weapon damage but it hits directly to the Character's Wound score. When Wound hits zero the character is dead. It would make things a lot harder and riskier for Force Users and make the game far more challenging than the first. It would also balance non-force users as well with the force users. Also One more little request. Make character death, as in 0 hit points, mean character death. It was so Final Fantasy in the first KotOR that it was quite stupid.
  18. Its time for software to keep up with the hardware. DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD! DVD!
  19. Doesn't change the fact that I would like to play an alien non-force user in a Star Wars CRPG.
  20. I am not a liberal. I am for laxing on gun controls and removing all foreign aid from other countries.
  21. Sorry, I play CRPGs and not action oriented clickfests nor do I play MMORPGs.
  22. I often see fanfics as an exercise of creativity in a contrained environment. It forces the writer not only adhere to the rules of a certain setting while at the same time make the writer force creativity in order to make it fresh and original. It is the stepping stone to real writing. Also Blasters are more stylish than a stupid lightsaber.
  23. If they allowed me to play something other than human and a Jedi I would be all over this game.
  24. I only concern myself with what I can make with my PC. NPCs come and go, but my PC is always in play.
