I have had family members and friends die and be killed through the acts of others, Krookie. You shouldn't make assumptions like that.

The way I like o do it is create my character base skills and abilities as I see fit as well as pick my chracter's appearance and gender. That is character creation. What you are describing of "making" your character through actions is character development which happens during play after character creation.

Actually it does matter to me. I don't like premade characters and one of the reasons why I disliked Gothic 2. It was the major drawback in Planescape Torment. When I play a RPG I want to play my character, and not the designers. So, that being said, it is another reason not to bother with Gothic 3.

Here's a question, can we have full control over making our character like in Oblivion or NWN or is it pretty much a preset thing like Gothic 2?

Human beings are broken up in hundreds if not thousands of little factions. We are a divided species. I doubt there will ever be a world nation unless it is one super power conquering and subjugating all others through threat of violence.

Fallout 2, though a decent game, is ancient history. Its not like we are going to get another game like it any more so I don't see how it is relevant.

I also bought 100% of their PC titles in the past five years as well. Like I said if I can get X Box 360 Premium or the PS3 full version for less than $100 I would. They are worth that much.

Pretty much everyone is getting on the case of Iran having nukes but they aren't the only one's who may have nuclear missiles. In fact Israel has the appearance of having nuclear missiles themselves and recently bought 2 diesel powered submarines that are capable of launching Jericho class missiles that can carry nuclear warheads. Iran has the right to protect itself from Israel if that nation chooses to attack by whatever means they have at their disposal, and vice versa.

What the ****?!?!? Why the hell do you need a character that powerful in the game? It is already mind numbingly easy already.
