  1. $50 is normal for a AAA title. Baseline Oblivion was $50, $60 for the CE version.
  2. Yes, you are, but I like you anyway.
  3. That's not what she said.
  4. So, every game is the same. EVERY GAME IS THE SAME! OH NOOOOOOOOOES!
  5. There is more to Gothic 2 that I hated than using a pre-made character.
  6. Why does it need such high specs. Not even Oblivion needs that high of specs and its graphically more intesive than nwn 2 by the looks of it.
  7. Its the game of life, and I just broke the buzzer!
  8. Because of its other qualities in the game, which I have said countless of times. Are you always this thick headed?
  9. I am more than willing to buy PC games over console but there are times my poor PC is in the shop. That is why I have a cheap ass console.
  10. It is the END OF ALL POSTI TI NOTES! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!
  11. stop lying. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Plot 1: Find an item to save your people and defeat the bad guys! Plot 2: Find an item to save your people, but when you do they get captured so you just have to save your people still while hoping the item that will save your people doesn't get stolen or loss, then defeat the bad guys.
  12. At the time I bought it I thought you could create your own character. In any case the other aspects of PS:T made up for it. Besides CRPGs have evolved since then therefore it is perfectly reasonable for a CRPG to allow one to customize his character as he or she wishes before the campaign starts. To expect less is a step backwards in computer role playing game design. For your information I have played Gothic 2 and downright hated the game.
  13. I think you just made Baby John Milton cry. :'(
  14. If you have to ask then it is a concept far beyond your capability to understand. YEEEEEEEEEEEEE-AAAAAAAAAAAAAW! (w00t)
  15. It was Planescape Torment's biggest flaw, Alan. That is why it is #2 instead of #1.
  16. Couldn't they use a Cray styled super compter that has been programmed with an aritifical intelligence (as close we can come) to monitor for and identify key phrases in certain languages?
  17. Sorry, but no sale. Besides there was more to Fallout's character creation than just picking gender. Bottomline, if there is no character creation in the CRPG in which I can create the character I want to play then its a no sale.
  18. I haven't had a chance to see it yet. I have heard a great deal of good stuff about it.
  19. I know exactly what I am saying and the 9/11 attacks were indeed tragic, especially those involved but I will not live my life in fear. Not in fear of terrorists and most certainly not in fear of our government. Restrcting our rights, our freedom, is not only an afront to those living today but those who have died to protect the lives those living today and our rights and freedoms.
  20. I just don't like playing someone elses character, may it be PnP or on the computer.
  21. Self centered or not, if the price of safety is the loss of freedom and personal rights then I do not wish to be safe.
  22. Not if the cost is our freedom and many in my family feels the same way. If the government wants to take our freedom and rights as individuals several members of my family would arm themselves and fight it if necessary.
  23. The point is that I want the character I play be my character. If I am going to invest a crap load of time into it I want the character feel like mine and not someone elses. That can only be achieved with full character creation such as seen in Oblivion or NWN.
