  1. Yes, I liked KotOR very much inspite of its flaws but a sequel needs to expand on the good aspects of the predecessor and not its detrimental flaws.
  2. Maybe, just maybe, there are some of us who aren't interested in playing elite characters. Just maybe we like to play with normal everyday types within the Star Wars universe. Maybe, just maybe someof us are tired of the munchkin bullshat that is in today's CRPGs. Last I checked there are no Star Trek CRPGs. If there were, I would probably play them over KotOR.
  3. I don't particularly care who's fault it is. Not my problem. All I want is a good challenging and entertaining game without munchkin characters or items getting in the way.
  4. At least we agree on something. I hope they upped the damage of blasters, not that my character will have any use for them. <_<
  5. And this has to do with KotOR 2 how?
  6. I am a role player. I role play my characters. If something goes against the character's nature, I don't do it.
  7. Thing is there is no good role playing reasons why a Jedi would not use a lightsaber or the force given how Obsidian placed the restrictions on our character.
  8. Its also an official d20 System product and a CRPG.
  9. Well, each one has a lightsaber and uses force powers. Basically they all are the same. At least the first one gives the player options that allows sneaky characters, or in your face heavy weapons characters, and the such.
  10. Sorry, for wanting a good challenging game. I just think that the lightsaber is overpowering and needs to be toned down quite a bit.
  11. A jedi class is a jedi class is a jedi class. In the end it doesn't matter which one you play because they all play the same.
  12. I am just sick of seeing CRPG after CRPG being turned into unchallenging clickfests that gives no risks to the player characters.
  13. Doesn't anyone actually paid attention to the game? Especailly what Canderous said of why the Mandalorians attacked the republic? The Sith made a proposal to the Mandalore to invade the Republic. These were not the same Sith under Revan and Malak. These are not the same Sith who used the Star Forge. A TOTALLY DIFFERENT GROUP OF SITH! Man, am I the only one who pays attention to the dialog around here?
  14. Oh yes. We must keep the force users a munchkin class and make the game absolutley no challenge. Wouldn't want the "casual" gamer actually use his head or anything.
  15. Well, compared to blasters the lightsaber is uber powerful. Add in the right crystals you can do 40+ damage. Personally I think that lightsabers are too powerful, or the blasters, rifles, and other weapons are too under powered. Hell, on a regualr basis my scoundrel/guardian type character that I played did on average 60 points of damage per hit.
  16. That's nice to know but I prefer to hear about stuff that makes this game innovative compared to others in its genre and style. Skill use and stat use in conversations have been used in NWN for a pretty long time.
  17. The only way to stop them will be through the use of a gun. It will come to that.
  18. It sprung a leak and they couldn't fix it.
  19. I prefer to not join either group.
  20. Even though there is no real death. Grrr...
  21. You should have set it up the default DS male. :D
  22. Well, back in 400 CE at the Council of Chalcedon (msp?) the Holy Trinity ideology was made into doctrine which placed Jesus to be God as well as the Holy Spirit.
  23. I don't really give a crap what Jesus asked you. That was 2000 years ago and no real empirical evidence that he actually said anything along those lines. The scriptures have been passed downed orally at first, then once put into written word they were translated and retranslated so much there is no accurate what Jesus said or actually meant so that is just a load of bull. If you want to get into people's face and spread the word, be my guest, but don't get pissed if we get in your face and tell you to STFU.
  24. If Marriage is a religious issue then the government has no place to govern it, yet they do.
