  1. Unless Obsidian and Lucas Arts do something really impressive I doubt the sales for the PC version will be all that great.
  2. Nah, I am a Capricorn than a Taurus. :D In other words I am an old goat. BAAAAAAAAA!
  3. Well, you have to start somewhere and it is hard to become experienced if you never have the opportunity to get in an entry level position.
  4. Raven doesn't matter to me. Haven't bothered to buy any of their games. Have they made any CRPGs?
  5. I think they should give lttle icons to those normal forum peeps who have been here and active for a very long time. Like once you reach 5000 post count or something. Nah, that would only lead to spamming. Nevermind.
  6. Are you advicating the assassination of the President? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am advocating full rebellion and reformation of the federal government, by force if needed.
  7. Infogrammes is Atari, and no they are pretty much crap as well. Have you played Temple of Elemental Evil or Masters of Orion 3? There isn't any good developers and publishers any more because they all are lacking in good solid quality nowadays. Sorry to say it, but it might be time that this industry needs to die.
  8. The problem being is that there are more games being made I don't like than there are games that I do like. I love long complext plots and challenging game play. Fallout and Baldur's Gate, as well as PS:T, despite its flaws, fulfilled this. They were the pinnacle and the standard I judge all other games. Also I found those game s far more immersive than KotOR.
  9. Yeah. I am sick of wasting $50 on buggy games. I just think we should just not buy it.
  10. Exactly. Temple of Elemental Evil was the last straw for me and I will not put up such behavior from developers, reviewers, or publishers any more.
  11. Yes they have come a long ways since the SSI days. They height in quality was back when Fallout 1, Fallout 2, BG 1, and PST was released. Now, its just a bunch of simplistic unchallenging games. You kknow, I like to have a bit of a thrill when I play my CRPGs. Its just not there any more with the recent crop of Morrowind, NWN, and KotOR.
  12. First off Bioware is doing there own freaking IPs. If you actually read their forums you would already know this. Also iin case you haven't noticed that KotOR 2 is a bug fiasco. Let them fixed KotoR2 fully before demanding KotOR 3. Lastly KotOR 3 was canned, scrapped, killed, and made non-existant in pre-production. This has already been reported and known. Before making threads like this I have a tiny suggestion: KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BEFORE POSTING CRAP LIKE THIS. I know I sound harsh and you probably think that I am such a big meany, but I tell it how it is and this is how it is. Deal with it.
  13. WHo the smeg gives a rat's arse about KotOR 3? Why worry about a game that was canned in the pre-production and the current version is buggy all as hell?
  14. Ending might be screaming KotOR 3 but the bloody bugs say NAY! Seriously, I am not getting the PC version because the PC version is always freaking buggier than the console version unless there is proof that Lucas Arts and Obsidian are fully backing this game with full tech support. I am not just saying for the PC version, but the X Box version as well. No proper tech support equals no purchase. That goes with any publisher and developer..
  15. I don't give a crap about GTA so who the frak cares.
  16. You would think that one of the key selling points of the X-Box, the freaking hard drive, would be fully tested. Who the hell do you guys doing your QA? Kebler elves? Hey, are we going to have the same problem withthe PC version too? Wouldn't surprise me.
  17. Who cares about a 3rd KotOR game. If they can't get the current one done right why even bother?
  18. It was one of its many weaknesses. WRONG The games they make are seen as "official" and part of the gaming universe they are set in. They need to be held to the same standard that any official product coming out of WotC. Plain and simple. If they want to make "unofficial: campaigns and game products then more power to them, but these games are considered "official" therefore adhere to the same guidelines and rules to ALL OFFICIAL PRODUCTS. Your private campaign isn't spouting to be an official is it? There is no room for grey in official products. Official products need to be consistant otherwise they are just a waste of time. I make rules changes in my personal campaigns before the campaign starts and remain consistant to those rule changes throughout the campaign. If there is a need for fchange I discuss it with my players first and get a consensus. Then again my personal campaigns aren't Official so whatever changes I make are simply personal. And they aren't going to get a paycheck next time if no one buys their next game because of the shoddy quality of their last game. A game company is only as good as its last game. If something is unacceptable I state it so. If I don't who will? The d20 rules system for the Star Wars PnP game is okay, but they removed a major balancing point for the Jedi classes by removing the Vitality/Wound system. They made teh Jedi classes way too freaking powerful. Sorry, but I like to play non-munchkin characters but in KotOR 1 and 2 you have no choice but to play a munchkin. That is poor game mastering, no doubt about it. Ever heard of giving an inch, losing a mile? We already gave them concessions with games like Morrowind, KotOR, Lionheart, ToB, NWN, SoU, HotU, and the such. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. You are right that time is not now. That time has past and gone, with all indications never coming back.
  19. Karzak not being annoying would be just wrong, mkreku. You know that.
  20. By how Obsidian and Lucas Arts are treating the X-Box side of things I am tempted to just wait for the Bargin Bin. Better safe than sorry.
  21. Well, I am going to wait on the PC version for several months till I see proof from LucasArts and Obsidian are actually going to support their game. I might wait till it is in the bargin bin. I am not going to pay $50 on a buggy next to unsupported game like I did with Lionheart and ToEE.
  22. Hasn't Black Isle used it more than Bioware? I don't remember.
