Suggestions for KotOR III
It hasn't gotten wilder and wilder. All it has become is more and more stupid.

big issue
Gromnir, I think you are slightly misunderstanding what I am saying. Yes, I would love to see the game to be less munchkiny. I would love to see this game to have more differences in the classes but still be balance. I want this game to be a challenging well written game of high quality. But over the last few days of arguing with you and others I came to realize that such wanting is futile. The game is what it is and there is nothing any one of us can do to change that. Obsidian made what they wanted to make. They made an unchallenging munchkin driven game because that is what they wanted and that was the audience they were aiming for. Feargus and crew are not a bunch of stupid people. They had a goal and they met it. That goal is to make a game that a casual gamer can sneeze and win. Yes, I would want to see better from Obsidian, but its not going to happen.

Epiphanyis right on this one. Why bother worrying about game balance. Its a munchkin game so let the munchkins have their fun. I'll be waiting for a Non-Munchkin targeted game from Obsidian. If one ever comes out that is.

MY KotOR III suggestion box
Yay! Yet another KotOR 3 thread. I wonder how many more we will have before the day is out.

RPGs of 2005
i bet youve been saying that for the last couple of years. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its been true for the last couple of years.

RPGs of 2005
Still, 2005 looks pretty damn dry for good CRPG.

big issue
When you are forced to play the biggest group of munchkin classes in d20 why worry about game balance? With how easy the first game is and how easy this game is reported to be, I think that game balance was the furthest thing on their minds when developing this game.

Suggestions for KotOR III
My suggestion is not worry about a KotOR 3 til Lucas Arts confirms there is an actual KotOR 3 is coming and who the developer is.

Which is more of a true RPG?
I don't count Deus Ex or Diablo as CRPGs.

GREATEST SITH LORD EVER!
But it is his force spirit that matters here.

RPGs of 2005
I liked the Resident Evil movies. They are the best adaption game to movie I have ever seen. Besides it has a naked Milla Jovovich in both. You can never go wrong with a naked Milla. :D Oh, Resident Evil games are the only games worth playing on a Gamecube.

GREATEST SITH LORD EVER!
That is a form of surviving.

GREATEST SITH LORD EVER!

The knockout punch for Interplay?
I don't understand why Bethesda bid on Fallout in the first place. Its not their style of game.
-
StarWars! Original and Sequel combine.
I think James Earl Jones and those who played all the other parts are represented in Darth Vader. Alec Guinness has been dead for years.

The knockout punch for Interplay?
Close enough for government work.

GREATEST SITH LORD EVER!
The greatest and most feared Sith is... DARTH DARTH BINX!

The knockout punch for Interplay?
I had such a wierd idea... What if Bioware, Obsidian, and Troika pool their resources and buy out Titus' shares of Interplay, take what licenses Interplay has and split among them. Obsidian will get Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment, Jefferson, and Van Buren. Bioware will regain all the Baldur's Gate property they made at Interplay, Troika would finally get their Fallout, then split other Interplay IP evenly. Descent, Freespace, and etc. That would be interesting if they did that.

The knockout punch for Interplay?
You would have such a major joygasm that you would get things so messy and sticky around you and you know it.
-
The knockout punch for Interplay?
That's the problem. He never did.

The knockout punch for Interplay?
And that is the beauty of it.

The knockout punch for Interplay?
The people who made Fallout have long been gone from Interplay. The company was an empty shell with that wretched Herve Caen in the middle.

Is it Raining on Your Parade?
It's a mere suggestion, and I'd prefer if he/she did it the legal way. Can't you just borrow the game from someone then? Or play it a bit then return it? EB Games always let me return a game even if I actually played it, with my money back or a product of the same worth, a product which I choose of course. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Games can only be returned for the same product only here.

Is it Raining on Your Parade?
True, but there isn't any other way to try before you buy here in the midwest.

Darth Sions Accent
Nihilis: Join me Sion, and we shall rule the galaxy. Sion: Will we get to kill the Jedi. Nihilis: Um, yeah. Sion: EXCELLENT! :D
