So he likes Microsoft. We can say the same thing about Shadowpalidan and Sony. Both consoles have strengths and weaknesses. X Box 360 uses older hardware in media, but it is cheaper to produce games for. PS3 has cutting edge technology but more expensive to produce games. To me that evens out. I expect X-Box 360 will have more newcomers like Obsidian while Sony will have the old ones such as Capcom and Square-Enix. I think both systems have their merits and worth getting, but who will win in the long run will be the consumer due to the diversity.

Ambitious but a mistake? that remains to be seen. Personally I think a world wide release can be seen as a very good thing. It promotes conformity and that sort of thing is good in sales. I think the only major mistake that the Microsoft crew did is not waiting for the HD-DVD. DVDs are not obsolete in my opinion, but the HD DVD would indeed make X-Box 60 more competitive on a technological stand point. With any luck things will turn out for them but if it doesn't, well Gates has a few spare billions here and there. I am sure MS can weather the loss if it is so.

From what I have seen, smashers (using a heavy hammer) are pretty useless in that class. You want something that can cut and drill. I suggest make a spikey ladybug design. Explanation: lets go on the outside to the inside. You want a durable but mallable plastic covering. It will give in but won't break. Its primary weapon should be a simply high grade chain saw, but should have a secondary weapon to protect itself. That is where the Spiky comes in. On the central engine have drill bit expensions that covers it. High powered drills can do wonders against tires and tracks in rammed in at the right place and makes your opponent think twice from ramming you.

Independents. In the background story of Firefly and Serenity their was a offshoot group who wanted to separate themselves from the Alliance. Like how the colonies wanted to separate themselves from Mother England. The soldiers of these Independents were called browncoats. Mal and Zoe were browncoats fighting against the Alliance and it was the Battle of Serenity (a moon and where the name of the ship comes from) that was the final battle which the Independents lost. Mal (loosely quoted from an episode): "I know I was on the losing side of the war, but I was on the right side."

The game has just begun, Volourn, but what you said is treu then all is good. With any luck Obsidian can make signigicant improvements over KotOR 2.
