Planescape Torment is a Infinity Engine game, the same engine that did BG, Bg 2, IWD, and IWD 2. It is a story intensive RPG set in the Planescape campaign setting foe 2e ADnD. It is indeed one of the best CRPGs of all freaking time. Second only to Fallout 1.

Perhaps we would need to simplify the system just a tad. The Character's Armor Class should be gauged by one's Agility score and any perks that makes him or her more agile in combat situations, things that allow him or her to avoid getting hit. Armor itself should not increase the Armor Class. It should just give Damage Reduction in the areas it covers. Such as if you are wearing a flak jacket your arms and torso are covered but your head is not.

Speaking of Dungeons and Dragons various editions and consoles who here liked Warriors of the Eternal Sun for the genesis. Best DnD game on console ever.

I don't see why there can't be dwarven monks or elven monks, but if you don't like that idea then use Rule 0 and not have them in your campaign. Nothing is stopping you. Personally I don't like any of the base line classes in the PHB 3.5 except rogue. That is why I use the Monte Cook Arcana Evolved, with the 3.5e rogue and MC's bard and Sorcerer.

I taught a bunch of people 2e and a different set of people with no experience with the d20 System. The d20 System crowd gets it a lot quicker than the 2e crowd.
