I dare say they will still have some uses. FOR EXAMPLE Back in the day, my brother designed a bunch of scripts for BG2. They were useful even outside of combat, because there was things like 'if wizard does not have stoneskin activated, cast it'. So bringing it back to Pillars; is there a spell you always want one of your casters to cast, first thing at the start of combat? Whack it into AI.

Personally I am totally down with 5 person squads. Was skeptical on Tyranny's 4 people, but I felt it really tightened up combat, especially given (As mentioned just above) the fact that party members have a great deal more options than in the Baldur's Gate games. Apart from spellcasting classes, I don't think there was a great deal of options for the rest of the party in BG apart from 'which weapon to use'. Whereas in PoE and Tyranny, every class has usable skills.

Started Satellite Reign yesterday because it was on sale and I have good memories of Syndicate. Enjoy it so far.

On the other hand, I used to use Lydia to get a perfect backstab on people, because I wasn't quite good enough to sneak up on them, but I was good enough to hide in the one spot while they rushed past me at the lady in platemail trying to sneak around.

I like Cities: Skylines a fair bit tbh.

I am considering getting Cities: Skylines because it is on sale. Anyone played it and is it dope? OK never mind I just bought it I hope it doesn't suck.

Yeah I reinstalled Skyrim recently because apparently I get the Speccy Edition for free. The levelling system feels very familiar. I don't want to point fingers, but I think Bethesda retroactively ripped off Tyranny.

D:OS2 looks to have better writing. The writing for D:OS didn't bother me too much. The game was all about spilling oil everywhere and then setting the oil on fire and then raining on the fire so it all turned into steam and then electrifying the steam and so on.

I'm trigged. Don't trig me.

There are a few factors that can govern how high a skill is. How many points you put into it at the start, for example. How often you use it. Governing statistics. I think how often you use a skill is probably a bigger contributing factor TBH. Especially if you're like me and keep forgetting to visit the skill trainers every level.

I don't see Sirin's lower lore as being because she missed out on opportunities to train; I see it as being because Lantry is a ridiculous loremaster and she is not.

Not exactly.

The game is full of two factions, The Scarlet Chorus and The Disfavored, who are p. full of themselves. The Disfavored are a bunch of elitists who think that literally no one other than Northmen can possibly be as good as them, the Scarlet Chorus are basically the raiders from Fallout. FWIW 'Graven' apparently means 'an image of worship' which is somewhat appropriate given the attitude the Disfavored have towards their boy Ashe.

If you quit a game because you get annoyed at the name of one of the characters, I'm not sure how to measure whether you'll like any games TBH.

Overwatch: Mystery Heroes tactics. Basically, when hero select comes up, instead of picking the hero that I want to play, I just accept whichever hero the game has selected. Sometimes my teammates do not appreciate my tactics.
