Who are you, Chris Avellone? I keed, I keed. I liked Arcanum other than the bug that ate a quest item from my inventory two thirds through the game that forced me to restart. Oh and the unbalanced combat system that made magic a breeze and technology less than optimal as a path. I'm not a fan of Vampires. That's because you don't want people to pre-judge you because you sparkle. Arcanum IP is owned by Activision, AFAIK. So unless Activision wanted it to happen, it ain't happening. A magic steampunk themed original game, they could do, but not really a sequel to Arcanum using the IP/Lore/Systems. *losses 5 hope points lol...but still has 2 left!* Thanks for the info though....

Trojka Games also made Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, if that sounds more familiar?? Though, I prefer Arcanum!

It's underrated imho....VERY underrated. It's honestly THE best! Was for me anyhow.

I was kinda thinking...since (or at least, I've been told this) at least two from the three who worked at Trojka games work in Obsidian now...they should consider making Arcanum Steamworks of Magic 2???! :D If it wasn't rushed, I'm pretty certain Arcanum would be my all time favourite...and I really, really want a sequel!!!! I don't think the expansions will have much to do with the plot of the main game. The main game is supposed to be longer than PoE and that game was so long my children had all moved schools before I had finished it. Really? xD When I didn't do WM DLC's and played on story mod, I'm pretty sure I finished the whole game (main quest + side) in about 3 days lol. xD I get it was *meant* to be *kinda* long, but no game is really long when you're just doing it until you finish it - more or less-...no sleep for the Watcher?? No, honestly, in one of my playthroughs, I LITERALLY couldn't sleep until it was done. Then when I saw the editing rolling 'your eyes shut and you were finally able to sleep' or something THEN, then I could rest. xD In peace. ^^ xDDD

I love scarred PC's . Not sure why...makes them look..bada**, I guess? xD I ...have been guilty at looking at my character butt at times....well, in Fallout or Skyrim (games like that) but um...yeah, it's not on purpose! XD SO IT DOESN'T COUNT! Really though, I don't dress my girls (or guys - which i hardly ever play anyway) skimpy BUT, the butt just sorts gets in the way sometimes..... xD As for NPC's: I like the to have character. But I also like them looking either bad*ss like my own character, or well....decent...looking.....if it's gonna be a romance/s*x option anyhow. If not, I don't care if they look like Durance.

I've seen quite a bit of men using (or creating) skimpy female portraits (characters), and a few female using (or creating) masculine (usually gay for some reason... xD), also kinda skimpy men. So I'm wondering if it's something you do as well, or is it something you avoid? Personally, it kinda breaks my immersion if my PC kind of looks like a se* toy lol. xD I don't mind other people doing it, but I like my own hero to look well..heroic! :D I play them because they're awesome, not because they look good in certain outfits lol...; - or the lack of certain outfits! XD Though, I do love hardly dressed girls irl (I mean..who doesn't ohh..straight chicks. xD) , I don't like it for MY player character to look that way...nor do I want to dress (hardly) irl. xD LOL! ....Well, maybe on special occasions, don't we all then? PS: I don't judge anyone, and I don't plan to. I'm just wondering if anyone else feels like skimpy characters ruin serious RP for them? ) And for those who do like creating or picking such portraits...what's your angle? (Again, no judging! ) NOTE: By skimpy I mean..hardly dressed...it's what skimpy means...right? XD *RIP ENGLISH if I'm wrong...*

You can download "good old classic" SweetFX v.1.5.1: https://sfx.thelazy.net/static/media/downloads/Boulotaur2024.Injector_CeeJay.dks.1.5.1.ChromaticAberration.7z Then replace file "SweetFX_settings" with your own (i presume from Natural Shader or something...whatever you want). P.S. It might be a problem if you running PoE on Windows 8 or 10 - SweetFX and ReShade don't work correctly in these OS (maybe only newest versions, but i've never try it). I'm on win 10. But I could always change on which I ran poe....but hey, I fixed it! ^^ Just kinda dropped out the deadfire pack now, and it works! Strange... Very strange. But i'm glad for you. It's only my superstitions and thoughts, but latest update had changed some in game rendering - collateral effect of this changes was blurred backgrounds in game (were several topic about this issue). Maybe, this is the cause of your problems. God knows... Maybe... Either way, problem's solved!

Obsidian isn't EA last time I checked......Never have I played their main game, and felt it was unfinished before.... And even in PoE 1. WM DLC's were completely separate from the main game.

I ...don't dislike Kana because he's 'ugly' or 'annoying'. In fact, I found him to be very charming with his love of knowledge and enthusiasm....I liked his character. I liked him a lot! And Durance (who's actually MEANT to be ugly / scarred) is my second favourite, right after Edér! As for Edér himself, he's a nice guy. And very interactive with the player character (in a friendly way).

Loved: Edér. Liked: Durance, Hiravias, Aloth, Kana Rua, Grieving Mother, Devil of Caroc. Kinda disliked , kinda liked: Pallegina, Maneha,Zahua. Disliked: Sagani.

This chick complains about everything, and one of the only female character she doesn't find sexist is a literal pixelated brick. (I wish I was kidding.... XD) Being a female myself though (and quite a bit more on the femme side) I can safely say, that I don't mind. In fact, I like playing badass, scarred, more muscled females (even though I myself am like a literal flat brick, Anita mentioned lmao! XD) Just for fun and laughs; (Warring: NOT RERECORDED FOR CHILDREN! XD POOR CHILDREN!!!! SAVE THE CHILDREN, YOU CAN KILL, BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE BOOBS!!!!)

They mentioned there's be something similar to Dragon Age's Keep so....yes. Though, you really SHOULD finish the first game.
