Oh , i forgot to mention! Make sure to pick up everything and then in inventory, right click on your weapon and armour to upgrade it! Do this quite often, but alos, if you find a weapon that's more expensive, just place that on your weapon slot (or armour slot if it's an armour) instead. But keep in mind it's better to have light armour or even robes for wizards and priests. For a cipher or hunter (Ranger) I suggest medium armer as well. Or maybe even light since you won't be in the centrer of things. You'll be doing ranged combat while your companion will be up close.

If you don't want to play on story mod though....just make sure you pause long enough to read the information displayed on the enemy (which you'll get by hovering your mouse over it), and taking some times to read the spells and tenabilities your companions have. Just in case you don't even know where that is (in case, i don't mean to offend), you get them by clicking the companion portrait. Wizards for example, have lvl 1, lvl 2 etc spells. And the higher the level the spell is, the more powerful it would be. BUT, take note that spells and such cost you, and you can only regain all of them by taking a rest (either via camp or inn). ) Hope this helps too! Now...back to my play-through! xD (Amazing game with a great story and companions....you won't regret playing it!!!)

You should go to the bear cave once you have a companion or two, and gain a level. Also, you won't die much (or at all) if you follow the paths step by step. I recommend this; First go to Gilded Vail (rest in an inn, do some quests that are inside the village), then go to the sea sight (Anslog Compass) after you've taken the quest from one of the pregnant ladies (no spoiler ) , then go to Margren's Fork, recruit Durance and party, in Black Medow, kill bandits and take supplies back to the blacksmith in Gilded Vail. on to Cad Nua. Here you'll find Kana. Recruit him, then go inside the keep, then stairs down and find Merawold then go back to talk with the statue (steward), THEN you can go further down again, but just enough so you find Kana's tablet, finishing his quest. I recommend you return to Cad Nua and solve Master Below at a much higher level. Just make sure you explore pretty much everything in the area, so you get XPs and stuff...BUT! Avoid the following at a low level or when you don't have many companions; *Bear Cave *Cad Nua bellow *White March until you're at a decent level (If you think you're bad at the game, I'd wait till level....12. I think.) *Don't do the dwarf's companion's (Sagani's) quest until you're at chapter 3 (after Defence Bay.) *I guess you should avoid the Ethos temple in Gilded Vail until you have Edar too. Spend a lot of time doing quests in Defence Bay, since they're easy, inside the city walls. Additional information; 1. You can hire adventuresses to join your party at any innby talking to the barkeeper. (I personally don't do that but, you might want to do this early on in Guided Vail since you only get 2 companions there. 2. In guided Vail, you won't get the second companion until you've taken a rest. Anywhere, either in inn or or outside with camping supplies. 3. Before making your character, you can google which build is best for the class (best stats i mean). 4. If you play on story mod, you have unlimited camping supplies which is a big plus. Camping Supplies restore both health and lost endurance. And endurance is important because once it hits 0, your companion (or you) dies. 5. You should tinker around in option menu, giving yourself some advantages such as 'no knock down injuries'. 6. Click on your and your companions portraits then click on the button on them. Make sure Edar has 'Hold ground', Durance has 'Healing' etc etc.....and make sure they're all aggressive, meaning they'll attack right away (IF you have IE turned on - or what cha call it??) 7. With EI or IE or whatever it is, it's the blue head button besides your party portraits. Just click on it, and leave it green. 8. You can control when the game will auto-pause in the options menu. You can also control combat speed there, that should helps lot! But really, if you're deciding to play on story mod and have companions have a mind on their own (even if they are a bit dum dum dum), half my advice will go waisted and you will probably end up playing in pretty much real time if you follow the road because well...easy peasy lol.

So is for Arcanum, another Trojka game which I actually prefer. They could have been one of the best gaming companies out there. A shame they fell apart....

Some love, some hate, and someone who said he (or she) refuses to buy the game now...lol. You guys do realise you can just turn off voice volume? XD And if not now, you surely will once full game comes out (though, i'd bet the beta has an opinion for that as well.) As for me, well, I think I'll enjoy what the voice actors have to offer, while reading the action....unless someone tells me the action is voiced too? I'd rather not have that, I think... xD Unless there's a separate button to leave in the voice, and leave out the interactive action scenes. Then well....then anyone can chose whatever. Like right now. You don't have to have any voice if you don't want to, right? I don't mind reading, a lot of people do though. Like my best friend, he didn't finish PoE still, despite me praising it with each breath....the reasons? Not much voice acting he says, too much reading he says....his loss, but yeah. I think Obsidian did what's best for both parties. This is kinda like romance...a lot of people are for it, and some also claim they'll refuse to buy the game if romance is in but...guess what? It's an RPG, you don't NEED to chose to romance anyone lol. Not even Bioware games force you into it. And I highly doubt Obsidian would either.

Not sure if this is already old news, but just use the photo editor that comes with windows then click on 'Zeke' filter...does the job superbly. I don't have Deadfire yet, it's just something I noticed. Here's an example of what a simple filter choice (the zeke one) does to an image; (See the attachments, smaller one wasn't filtered. )

I would just do a fresh install after deleting the blamed mod (or maybe pretty much every mod you have, unless you're sure it's that one.) Just make sure you click to keep your save files. You know kotor games don't take long to install, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Sorry it wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but it's all I got and hope it helps!

It's my favourite! :D So many times I spent a whole day looking for the right portrait, but for this character the dlc one fits perfectly! :DDD I mean, I did mess around a bit and made her hair leaning towards red a bit, and changed eye colour but still! XD

Hmm....i'm not sure i'm a 100% satisfied with this background...too detailed? I need something shorter which still fits her character....any ideas? :D Also, come to think of it, writing it down now, think i want a name with a special meaning for her....hmm. UPDATE; Bertha - (BER-thah) - i like this name. Means famous. Background: Bertha was born into a life of poverty, her mother Trisha hoping from one abusing relationship to another. Eventually, Trisha meet a somewhat wealthier men (human) who treated her fairly at first. After the marriage however, things changed, and as it turned out, he was just as bad (if not worse) then her previous lovers. They had a stable income now, though the men was cheap and wouldn't have afford either Trisha or Bertha many material pleasantries. When Bertha turned the age of five, Trisha wanted a fresh start so she left her daughter and husband behind, dispersing one day. Bertha would usually spend time in nature observing animals and other creatures at work. At her teenage years, as she observed a bear and a rabbit being devoured by it, she realised she doesn't want to be the weak one any longer. She took a wood-chopper's axe from the wilds and used it to murder her abusive stepfather. She now had a taste for blood, but she wanted more. Being short on material goods, she came to long for money. For a time being, she intimidated and stole on her own, being quite proficient at it despite her size. Eventually, she caught the attention of a group of raiders, and they took her in as her own, sharing the profits while allowing her to have a warm bed, plenty of food etc. Despite the group being 'evil' to everyone else, they were surprisingly good to one another. Unlike regular raiders, they believed in being loyal to your own. It wasn't long before the group turned into an organisation. They called themselves 'Blood Hunters', terrorizing towns and villages, stealing and murdering, causing chaos loud chaos wherever they went. The Blood Hunters fell because they were not too bright however, and managed to caught the attention of an army. With no real leader or superior (as they didn't believe in authority) to guide them, most of them were put in jail, only a few managing to escape justice. Bertha was one of the lucky ones who managed to escape. Wandering for a while as a thief, bully and a murderer, she eventually heard tales of a small town called Gilded Vale....there, as it was cheap, she thought I'd be the perfect place to begin making her fortune a new. Update: gonna use the name 'Thieda' that means brave, instead of Bertha. Because well..come to think of it, Bertha sounds like an old woman's name. Lol! Plus, feels a bit closer to me, but is distant enough at the same time, if that makes any sense......xD Okay, READY FOR MY PLAYTHROUGH NOW! :D

I felt like sharing my favourite characters, and would love to see your best one as well! (This one's almost straight from the dark side lol. But she's honest about it... xD) CLASS: Barbarian (Will also be druid in Deadfire. multi-classing FTW! ) PERSONALITY: Aggressive, Cruel, Honest, Passionate. BACKGROUND: Raider. BIO: She was pretty much raised by a group of bandits. Her real father is unknown and her mother abandon her, leaving her with her aggressive stepfather when she was of an early age. Despite the hardships, she found comfort in nature, and wile observing the animals and their wild, untamed nature, she came to respect them, as well as respect what they stand for; - the weaker is always destined to get chewed up by the stronger. That is still her mentality. She killed her step father at the age of fourteen, then joined the very group of bandits that theorized her home town. Together they took whatever they wanted to, went where they wanted, and most importantly ; - did what they wanted. She was free to test her own strength, and free to take everything the weaker ones had - lives included. LOVES: Money, wild nights with other wild women (if you know what I mean XD), strength and power, wild animals/beats, straightforwardness, bravery. HATES: Random acts of mercy, pity, comfort, cowards and liars. PILLARS ENDING: *After killing the man who asked her to poison the child in face to face combat, she then decided to take the baby with her and raise her as a warrior. *She strengthened the dyrwoodens, following Gallawain. Well, I tried. XD But I didn't want to mess with it too much, because I wanted it to be...welp, sorta more...polished. Id i'd just go in with a brush with my mouse and paint 3d too much, i'd look god awful. xD Aumaua are cool, but never really spoke to me since I look more like an elf - short, shin and such......I made a version where i'm a forest elf too though. Maybe it's 'more fitting' - probably is but - I prefer pale elves actually. They're awesome!

Edited my photo and made a pale elf out of myself! :D I used paint.net and its level slider, along with hue , contrast etc! The best I can do before I get my tablet back, but still! Pretty proud! How about you? Did you edit your portrait to fit into POE? Or made a drawing of yourself? If so, I'd love to see it! :D <3
