you know, i'd actually like to see what they could do about creating something akin to the more classic isometric fallout game. It will prob not work for 1-2 month after release and will have disappointing story -

The point about Torment wasn't about its lack of DLC (I have no idea how you came to that conclusion) - it was about the glaring problems that still remain after the post-release development was officially canceled. They did that to focus on the new Bard's Tale and Wasteland (instead of wasting time/money on a game that sold like crap), hence the parallel with Obsidian and their new multi-platform RPG. Tides of Numenaria was horrible. I think I put 4 hours into it. On the other hand, I have over 100 into Deadfire so far. I myself was a little bit disappointed by that game, too. But to claim that it's the worst thing ever as some people do is simply wrong. It's a mixed bag, with good and bad parts overall. My response to the OP was mainly because i'm simply sick of the hyperbole on the net, probably coming from all the different echo chambers people come from (my main guess). You rarely find a middle ground nowadays. If something has flaws, it suddenly is "the worst thing ever"". The developers are silent for one or two weeks after release, it's a sign that the game "has failed" and is doomed to be "a broken mess" etc... It gets annoying very fast. Ye! Who cares someone can't play a game he pay money for! YOU don't have a problem so it crealy just winners. Game and Obsidian clearly can't be at fault -

And here i was thinking what if they have experience in it before they will be better at fixing bugs and avoid doing it again... But acording 2 you if they have this ****y launch before it totaly okay they have it again... I love logic of fans Clearly you have absolutely no idea how bad FNV was at release if you think Deadfire is in the same state now... Well i didn't manage 2 play both at launch so for me it doesn't actually matter how much worse it was. Both a unplayable. Even if 1st was a bit MORE unplayable - i really don't care. For ME it actually even worse because this isn't the 1st time this happen. You suppose 2 fix your problem not use it existence as an excuse Also i kinda remember playing the NV after 1st week. I still cant play PoE2 -

The hotfix is out. No word on when the next patch might come out. There is plenty of work to do (difficulty redesign, retaggins dialogue strings for better companions response). It will also take testing. My bet is that it will release with the first expansion, as it did with 2.0 of PoE1. "Hotfix" still didn't fix anything i mention. Xoti quest and companion dialogue still broken even if i load saves now. So i got this game as a preorder and can only play it after 1st expansion... Well this is great.

O wow so cool! So they have time for this but not for fixing the game... Different team. Companion artist/modelers don't bugfix... So they not gonna test new content for bugs etc? Shame.(Mostly joking. As i said before this is just minor annoyance) A 3D modeler's expertise doesn't lie in bugfixing. They're not code monkeys. This is not complicated. And i suppose no one who do bug fixes gona test if it works or brakes the game after modellers a done... Ye it is not complicated (Hint - read part at the end of my last post again. 2-3 times if you don't get it at 1st)

O wow so cool! So they have time for this but not for fixing the game...Pfff. Come on. They had it pre-planned. I am sure they didn’t re-hire the actress to record companions barks and the companion Mirke portrait was data mined during the beta. So she was planed months ago. They are doing the CDProject Red trick - free DLC leading up to expansion to keep the interest going. No reason to complain. I have alot or reasons 2 complain. I cant play the game i pay for. And since they don't even plan 2 fix companion relationships in this patch (Or HotFix? I can't keep up) i will not be able 2 for a while. This is just a bit of annoyance.

Seems they melted the two outcomes (not finishing, letting her disobey) together as 'you made her fail, you bastard' Well this is incredibly stupid and disappointing... But thank you for answering -
Xoti dialogs after soul harvesting dont work

So in two separate occasions after Xoti harvested a soul she wanted to speak to me. Didn't noticed it 1st time, but her dialog didn't trigger and she started generic one instead. Here a two saves for 1st and 2nd time it happened. Just go to the ghost in 1st one or essence in 2nd one and let her harvest it.
