For MOST people, a patch one week after launch is indeed a hotfix. Sorry if it's not fast enough for you? O i will let it go then i be able 2 play a game a payed money for. Sorry if i a little upset i can't do it for a week after a bought it. Well for a 3 week actually cause i wasted my free time cause i was dumb and expected game 2 work on release. Also this HOTFIX with was announced as patch before is really really silly.

Pointless in my opinion. World of PoE like so many game-RPG world this days so narrow and one note what playing in it as table top RPG kinda boring. Everything come from adra and Ancient Precursors . And all interesting stuff about them happens in the game. Same as Dragon Age or Tyranny worlds really. Good pen and paper RPG need more variety in its world I would argue that this is a GM problem not a game world problem. A sufficiently creative GM can take a world like Eora and tell amazing stories with it. Just because the video games focus around adra and the gods doesn't mean every campaign has to. There are still tons of cities out there that aren't explored in the game, vast expanses of territory that can be developed/explored by the group such as The White and the area east of Deadfire. Plots within plots in political circles in Old Valia or the Aedyr Empire and the list goes on. Good DM can take pile of garbage and tell a amazing story in it. I will not make pile of garbage a good setting for a story. PoE is fine as a game world btw. Table top no so much in my opinion. Game WORLD focused around adra, Like literally it the end all and be all. Adra and souls in it. Politics is a dirty word in table top anyway and you don't need this particial world to tell a story about them. Let's face it politics in PoE isn't what interesting or complex.

The post from Josh Sawyer that was posted here earlier indicates that it's due to variables being set incorrectly and the save import feature messing with negative flag values. Right now, the Edér and Vela import issues are the only known problems caused by this bug, but who knows, there may be more later in the game. I'll be optimistic and hope that by fixing the import system, they'll prevent any other related bugs from surfacing in the future, but until that hotfix, I'm keeping the game on hold because both the Edér and Vela bugs concern me. Pallegina also broken in similar manner

She still talk like she was exiled and i never completed her quest. So still a bug

Hotfix could be out next Tuesday if i am not mistaken. So its not in fact Hotfix . They just renamed 1st patch to silence critics. Well what's just nice

Also in the same save Xoti can go insane wich hatred for Pallegina after her ONE comment about the gods. She immediately go HER OR ME. I hope this is a bug and not intended. i hope. But to be fair it kinda funny if it is working as intended Just ask Pallegina about Eothas and watch Xoti go berserk.

Yes it definitely broken. I recruited her and she told me i didnt finish her quest. So another Transferred Save problem. Cant upload my save here cause of forum file size restriction

Apparently Pallegina also broken as far as i can tell in transferred save... Edit - 100% broken. She ended up as Kind Wayfarer in PoE1 and in PoE 2 she told me she didnt finish her mission and gto exiled. So "didn't do her quest" ending. Good thng i checked even if i spoiled a big part of the game for myself doing it. Sigh.

So in PoE 1 Pallegina ended up as a Kind Wayfarer. But now i see her at Neketaka and she says she working on ships to get by and be among her people... No word about her joining another Order or leaving the republic I just wanna know - is it another Save transfer bug or this is what Kind Wayfarer Pallegina actually dose? Cause i think this is another bug. I am paranoid now. Cause she is acting like i didn't do her quest

Going by Josh's answer May 6th to people asking about the baby orlan (Vela) not showing up in the Streamers stream, the answer is "no" they didn't until 2 days before release happened because it was tested and it worked on their end. I was under impression "2 days before release" is in fact "before release". So "yes". Also i wonder how they missed MAC users problem

Honestly, i'm kinda pissed. I mean you'd think issues that end up being apparent in the first 15 minutes of the game would be easily caught in QA, Well they did catch them since they admitted 2 knowing about it in reddit post before game came out They just didn't bother 2 fix them before release. Cause really who cares if someone can't play cause of this?

Well, asking for a patch for that stuff within 24-48 hours might be a bit much to ask since it's probably not something that can be done in that timeframe. I'd rather them take their time to get it right than rush out a fix and possibly cause more problems since the issue likely isn't as simple as it seems. Yes it totally fine 2 not be able 2 play a game you bought for a week! And if you free a day or two for yourself to play the game after it came out and now you cant and can't get more free time AFTER it finally works for you - it also okay! God forbid you blame devs who knew this will gonna be the case before release and didn't say anything in the news,,,, No no everyone just impatient

Credit to them? Credit for knowingly releasing broken game and only fixing it week letter, ye. What a goddamn joke. It will be some credit if they moved the release or officially posted a news on steam before this one. But i suppose for them taking money is more important when people time and good will. Don't remember the last time a game released bug free, it's not a "this company" thing, but just how things nowadays are in general. Bug free is a bit different from not releasing a game which will be unplayable for some players and knowing it. Good one them for taking my money and ruining 2 days at least. Ye and don't expect me 2 actually bother 2 argue with funboys. Also nice 2 know major bugs a now apparently normal. Awful

Such as? Not denying it, just havent played enough to see any, only trying it this morning before heading to work. Vella and Eder a broken in saves from PoE1. And gods only know what else is broken letter in the game.

I have the same problem. But I don't understand .. Do I need to copy the savefile from the Pillars 1 directory to Pillars 2 directory? Can you explain a little more? Yes you need 2 copy it onto PoE 2 save folder. Also mb restart your PC cause it didn't work for me before i restarted. Also were is still Eder and Vella bugs if you import save file so prob should wait till 1st patch anyway. Next week i suppose. This is sad. Literally ruined my plans for 2 days. Last time i preorder something from this team or try to play on 1st day
