What are you Playing Now? - Video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock-n-roll
Thanks for letting me know about the sequel/prequel, I've always had a special place in my heart for WadjetEye Games. Without spoiling anything I will say that I really liked the story in Unavowed and it had a very cool twist that I hadn't seen coming. As a successor to the Blackwell games I think it really hit the mark.

Hey Malcador, I never got to try DoW3's multiplayer because the community completely bailed on the game by the time I got it. If you ever want a skirmish or anything I'd be happy to play you. I've been playing a lot of Pillars of Eternity this month. When it was first released I got as far as Twin Elms and then got interrupted because of work and everything, finally got around to giving the game another go. It's so good! I love Obsidian so much, they are my absolute favorite developers and this playthough has reminded me of everything I love about their games. So far I am basically finished with Definace Bay, have cleared everything but the dragon in the Endless Paths and I'm currently working my way through Durgan's Battery in the White March: Part 2. I think the thing I like the most about the game are the classes and experimenting with party composition. I know they're basically d&d classes but Obsidian really did a good job with their versions and optimising everything for a videogame. I like how they've assigned things like might to damage and healing output, intelligence to the area range of abilities ect. It makes the character builds a lot more diverse and I feel like it's harder to make a "wrong" choice in how to build your character as even if you go for an unorthadox build your character will still be good at something and can have a use.

With the Omens of Destruction DLC just being released I'm playing Total War: Warhammer 3 again. Creative Assembley are doing a really good job at giving the campaigns for the new characters a lot of personality and unique gimmicks. I think one of the things I really like about what CA are doing are the developer blogs and video interviews about the new content, it's really interesting to see behind the scenes and get to hear developers talk about their games, I miss when Obsidian used to do that more often.- What are you Playing Now? - Video games are bad for you? I'm a lot more optimistic at the moment than I was a few months ago. CA seem to be putting in a lot of effort with their community update videos and obviously the quality in Thrones of Decay and the Empire rework has been really high. It seems unlikely that they'd bother to throw this much effort into the game if they were about to walk away from it. They've mentioned wanting to update Norsca previously and now they're saying they want to revisit Bretonia too so all the signs point to CA and Sega still being serious about supporting Warhammer 3. Maybe they're planning less DLCs in total now but I think by the time they're done the game is going to be in a better state than it is currently (But I do think the game is already brilliant as is). Legend of Total War's rumour video had me worried they were just going to abandon the game outright.- Funny Stuff - Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. Company of Heroes is still looking and playing really good for a game released in 2006. I cannot believe it's been that long, I feel incredibly old.- Funny Stuff - It is the ability to take a joke, not make one, that proves you have a sense of humor
