After Seeing This I Am Kinda Upset
Stargate: 2000 replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It was no problem finding the info I just hope it settles whether or not there will be hoods in the game (combining the picts I posted with the quote from Akari). Join the Club, I am trying to put this topic to bed but with no luck unfortunatly. :D -

Stargate: 2000 replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why would they not make it in real time. And thanks for the info Stargate! :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was wondering that myself. and not a problem it didn't take me long to do a search and find the info I needed to show you guys. -

Hoods will still be in the game. They'll just be either always up or always down depending on the character and their current equipment. Basically, hooded robes will always be hooded and non-hooded robes would always be non-hooded. -Akari <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heres the quote I was talking about for those who were still questioning if there would be hoods for the PC to use in the game. -

Stargate: 2000 replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah it was mentioned in the weekend developer thread awhile back, Akari said that they couldn't make the hoods go up and down (by using a button, something to do with the engine not allowing it) but that there would be robes with the hoods already up and robes with the hoods already down. -
2 Weeks Away, and I Can't Wait
Stargate: 2000 replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Ok so whatz with all the topics? alot of which can be found by using the SEARCH FUNCTION!!!!!!!!! its really not hard to use, infact its quite easy. sorry to be an ass about it but come on you do have to admit that it would be a lot easier to find the info your self than posting a lot of threads and having people (like myself) b!tch about it. I guess I could skip over your threads but some of what your posting is kinda interesting from time to time anyway " :D . -

umm we will be able to have hoods they just wont be able to go up and down at a whim, to switch between up and down hoods we will have to switch robes. -
I Dont Like The Darker Theme
Stargate: 2000 replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
yea i dont like that. It makes me feel like i am on Rambo missions constently. In the first one we had a excuse, WE WERE A SITH LORD, so we had to have been good. Who knows, i still cant wait <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't really see what you getting at, I mean in the first one you had to fight almost constently, same with this one. The only real difference is that the feel of the universe is much different. Instead of being cheery its (as hades said) more real life feeling. It sounds like the PC is going to have more trouble going LS than DS which in my way of thinking is the way the original should have been, since its suppost to be easier to go DS than it is to walk the LS path. -
I Dont Like The Darker Theme
Stargate: 2000 replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
umm you can have a darker theme without killing off the original cast! and since only one mag has said that I am doubting its real, though no dev has said either way yet. I am betting that most of the crew is dead if you choose the DS option for revan and all are alive if you choose the LS option instead. -
Do I have to eliminate only one??? :D

I Dont Like The Darker Theme
Stargate: 2000 replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I like the idea of a darker feel in the game I think it will add more perspective into the game if everyone isn't running around with smiles on their faces while the sith is trying to kill them. -
But thats the thing they always do, the republic and jedi both fight the sith to a point of near destruction then they always back off. I don't know why but it seems that they always assume that the sith are dead and gone but instead they leave a couple to survive and rebuild.

So after watching the trailer/movies agian, it still makes me wonder if the PC goes to the Harbinger to find out what happened on the hawk, since the Hawk is found by the Harbinger (or thats what I took from one of the movies that were realsed the other day). But does kreia will play any role after the Harbinger or does she simple play a trask type role who is merely there to reconnect the PC to the force then die so we can add another NPC to the fold?.

Will Hk-50 be as good as Hk-47
Stargate: 2000 replied to Sith Emperor's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It has been stated that he was back in the game, yes! has it been stated that he will be a party member, NO. It was stated that he would be on peragus and we know now that it will be HK-50 that we will meet on Peragus. So that leaves a couple options. The first being that HK-50 stays with the party and HK-47 is distroyed on Peragus. Or HK-50 stays with the party and we meet HK-47 later in the game. OR that HK-50's lime light comes to an end at the end of Peragus and we pick up HK-47 later on in the game. And finally that HK-50 stays on Peragus and we only meet with HK-47 later in the game but he doesn't join the party, he would be there merely to fill us in on raven. I think that if they can make HK-50 a very good character, even if he was similar to HK-47 in some traits it still wouldn't make him a rip off mainly because how would you expect a Hunter Killer droid to act? warm and fuzzy of course :D . Also since the first conversation the PC has with HK-50 on Peragus last something like 20 minutes I can't see wasting that much time on a character that dies/doesn't join the party. That would piss me off if I had to waste that much time (granted that the info could be important but its still alot of time) and not have him join the party for the entire game. -
not a problem.

According to an article at Computer and Video Games that sceen about the dead and dying could be from the hawk not the harbinger. The part of the article I am refering too in quoted below with the important part in bold.

click on his name next to the weekend developer thread, then you can find his posts and such (warning though he has made something like 400 - 500 posts so you could be a while reading them all).

I was just thinking of the new movie that was released the other day, the one that shows Kreia running off to stall Sion while the PC gets away. I also think I read it somewhere that the Harbinger will be at Peragus so maybe the PC goes back to find out why s/he wound up in the Kalto tank in the first place and this is where the meeting with Sion happens?
-
well since Vader couldn't survive without his mask on its kinda hard to get a tan and as for who Akari is, all I know is he is one of the devs working on TSL.
-
or it could be that she plays a trask like part, where she is just around long enough to reconnect you to the force then dies, correct me if I am wrong but has there been any screen shots of kreia after peragus/harbinger (saying the harbinger happens right after peragus)?

Will Hk-50 be as good as Hk-47
Stargate: 2000 replied to Sith Emperor's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I know I should know the answer to this but, was it ever confirmed that HK-50's role would be over after Peragus? -
No because its explained in the game that shutting done the sheild around the temple can only be done for a short period of time and that someone would have to stay inside in order to allow someone back in and I think that when you had to shut down the sheild it was so your party could escape the temple.
