  1. OK, can't argue with that, but it's also what makes a villain good at times .
  2. A sinister laugh is fine by me :D. Perhaps scarred too, that'd only be fitting. Evil? Certainly, but no thugs here.
  3. Well, I can think of quite afew reasons. Not having time, the movies not being in the local movie renting store, encounterign the moveis but just not feeling like watching them... Well, honestly, I've got them recommended to me from time to time, but I've enver really felt like watching them. It's not the kind of movies I'm usually into; usually I'm into movies connected to these categories: Fantasy, historical, adventure or at times sci-fi. Sure exceptations does exist, but those are rare... So, watching the Godfather movies have never really been a priority thing to me . Sounds good . Especially the rodian part . Can't remember ever seeing a Rodian as a Dark Jedi . I wonder whenever he's more involited with the "worldy" bussineses or those who aren't? I mean, is he more interested in his organization and his own goals rather than the goals of the Sith, or has he somehow combined both of these? Heh, quite a few people mentions Exar Kun when iy comes to a "good" Sith Lord . Don't know about him, through, haven't read that part of the comics, nor read the books about his later appearence ... Wonder why I feel that the situation feels familiar...?
  4. Why not what? Why I've not seen them? *notices that it's starting to get quite off-topic here )
  5. Heh, gotta admit that I've not seen any of the Godfather movies . I've played a few gangster-games through, and I'll agree.. Being a gangster/godfather doesn't make you really evil, but it'll corrupt you, sure enough . And it'll seldom come up with any greater rewards; just remember how old Scarface ended his days
  6. You mean if he came to sorta enjoy it? Nah, that's not it. His hatred is a cold one and unlike most other Sith (and practucally unlike all thugs we encountered in KOTOR 1 ) he doesn't take out his hatred on others unnecressiarily.
  7. Don't worry, I was prepared for something like that Hmm, I don't quite understand, but thanks anyway Well, as far as I've understood the Sith, their ways works much like this: "If you can take this, then it's yours, assuming that you can keep it afterwards too". He slew his master, so traditionally he has a right to the title. And no one has challenged him and survived yet so his claim remains unquestioned. Plus, that he works together with the other Sith close enough (even if he is hardly seen as a relyable ally) for the others to reknogize his claim on the title.
  8. Heh, well, it was my first idea and it wasn't that overlooked, so if I worked on it again, it'd probably be soemwhat different :9. There's some differecne between Sion and my made-up Sith Lord, through; from the description we got, Sion uses hatred to survive everyday; Kor only did so when he was wounded, but he doesn't survive on it, not nowadays. But he carry his hatred within himself, so to speak and it is his greatest reason for never truly taking any side in the battle between the Sith and the Jedi/Republic, but what else is there to expect if you hate both your enemies and so-called allies? .
  9. In KOTOR 1, most people seems to have been generally displeased by the Dark Jedi and Sith we encountered there, since most of them were just thugs with the possible exceptation of a few of them. And a few days ago we received information about his Darth Sion, althrough that didn't seem to make most people any happier; "sounds like just another Darth Bandon"-like comments where mostly heard as far as I remember ;p. So, this is the question... What kind of Sith Lord or Sith would you like to meet in the game? What background might he/she have, what reasons, what kind of person is he/she etc? I've throught up my own idea on a Sithlord that might be good... Darth Kor. Many worlds got attacked by the Mandalorians and Sith during the Mandalorian war, and Kor's world was one that got involited in the battles. during one of these, a small group of Sith attacked Kor's home. Kor did his best to defend his home and family, but what can a normal person do against a couple of force users? Kor ended up mortally wounded and had to watch as the Sith killed his father and raped, tortured and killed his mother and two sisters. At that moment, a spark of uinforgiving hatred was born in Kor. After the Sith had left, he managed to survive his wounds whereas most would have died, mostly thanks to his hatred which urged him to survive. As soon as he'd recovered enough, he set out to find the Sith that had destroyed his family. He found them, sure enough and managed to finish off quite a few of them. But eventually, he was found out by the leader of that group, who was a Sith Lord who put a stop to him. But as the Sith Lord was about to finish him off, he saw the great hatred there was in Kor's eyes and gave him the usual sith offer: join us or die! Kor choose to live to take revenge and thus he became the apparentice of the Sith Lord. Through the years, Kor's strenght grew in power thanks to his great hatred. This hatred was, however directed at the Sith themselves. He could enver stop hating them for what they had done and if he got the chance to kill a sith, he did so. However, as he was made aware of the events surronding the war,a hatred as great as that he carried towards the Sith also gre in him, directed at the Republic and the Jedi. After all, both of these had choosen to remain passive, just looking at how the war went as it's victims suffered. The war went on and Kor fought through many battles of it, slaying sith, republic soldiers and Jedi alike. His hatred and ability for learning quickly made him a formidable opponent and one whom many on both sides spoke about in fear. In the end, he killed his own master as Sith tradition decribes that it should be done, thus taking the sith title for himself. As this happened, roughly around the same time that Malak rose to power, Kor left the Sith, taking a small, carefully select number of followers with him, most of them being people who had suffered from the war in much the same way he has, and fled to another planet where he has put up his headquarter. Nowadays, he is as powerul as ever and still has contact with the other Sith Lords and help them occasinally in their schemes, through even the other dark lords heistate to get him involited anyhow, since he is just as happy to kill other sith as he is to kill jedi and others serving the Republic.
  10. Isn't that more or elss how it often is or should be? Evil/Darkness pours great strenght in a few ones while the Good/Light divides it's stenght/power among many. Meaning that while a single Dark Jedi may be stronger than most other jedi if faced in an one-to-one combat, the Jedi have an advantage in numbers and when this strenght is united, they can outweigh the strenght or a Dark jedi. Or something like that .
  11. *Shrughs* Revan is what you choose him/her to be. And in any circumstance, they do share a certain bound altrough it has various sides; if you played her romance, then you're lovers and it's as simple as that. If you didn't then she's either Revan's apparentice or his/her friend.
  12. Oh, well. suppose that one can't afford to leave out the puppies, then . I've never doubted that; the real question is rather: a surviving "Trask"? After all, poor old Trask got killed by Big Bad Boy Bandon, so what about Kreia? Will she survive for more than 5-10 minutes before throwing herself against hordes of charging Sith, shouting "Now's your change! Go! GOOOO!!!!! DON'T LET MY SACRIFICE BE IN VAIN!"? Or will nothing like that happen and she'll follow the main chara through the rest of the story?
  13. Well, we'll see, I suppose Why not forget them? Everyone loves kittens!
  14. I don't think Revan should be killed either. I'm not sure how the "problem" about him/her could be solved, unless we're given the choice of once again playing him/her in a KOTOR 3 or so. However, regardless I think we should see one or two glimpses of Revan in KOTOR 2, hidden by a mask or something (even if I wouldn't know why a LS Revan would use a mask ). Or at the VERY least, I think we should find one or two clues about him/her in the game, perhaps a diary or a couple of journals hidden somewhere, something that gives us a clue about what he/she is doing right now, but I wouldn't want it to end with Revan beign dead
  15. Thanks for the hint! *goes to prepare some coffee and kittens to offer the Devs* XD. Well, perhaps. But I got the impression that the main chara will be back in touch with the Force as soon as Krea contacts him/her on the mining base or wherever the main chara is, the Force returns to him, but he/she won't be very strong in the force in the beginning...
  16. Hmm, I'm not so sure about tha tlast sentence, because that in Dark Empire (the comic), the Emperor's clone took 5 years to return to the state in which the emperor had been when he was killed by Vader (or that's what it looks like, at least)... But that could, of course, have two natural explainations: 1. The clone was weaker than the original body and therefore was broken down by the dark side quicker than the original body and/or 2. Any jedi or sith increase their power during their life. By that I mean: Palpatine was probably much weaker in terms of the power he could handle when he was young but he grew more powerful the older he become, thus the strenght he commanded grew little by little and the more it did so, the more his body was affected. Thus, when he moved into his new body, he carried his full strenght instead of only a small part of it, thus it went more hard on his body than it should have, if the process had been "natural".
  17. Hmm, I dunno if her role'll be all THAT big, but I like the throught of us finding her on some planet as shrouded in the Dark Side as Dagobah was... Defintively a more tempting scenario than some other possible scenarios where we might find her :3. Krea'll be that hepler as far as I know; that's what everything seems to point at so far. But who knows, Atris may join because that she tinks the main chara needs additional help on that issuse XD. Let's go making some offerings at the Altar of the Developers, then! ;p. Shall I bring a lamb, or some fruit? Or what is it the Devs desire in order to reveal such carefully concealed secrets to us?
  18. Hmm, this wouldn't be a "natural" change of being a DS, but I'll still make it: how about some sinister-looking face tattos like those Uthar had? It'd have an impression of power but still not exactly be a beautiful thing to add to your face. Still, as far as the rest goes, I believe that yellow eyes (hmm, they could add red eyes, through. Haven't any Sith Lords had red eyes?) and the pale skin change is good enough, but if anyone has more ideas, then... . Oh, and why not have scars too? Few if any Jedi or Sith goes through his/her life completely unscratched.
  19. ... Atris as the Yoda of KOTOR 2? XD. Not very likely, she's too serious-looking <_<. Unless, of course it was in a very well-done way... But I'd more likely expect Krea to be in the role as the old Jedi Master here. But I think it wouldn't be too easy to "re-create" Yoda's role with any character since Yoda's role was a somewhat... uniquite one thanks to his acting when he first meet Luke and I don't see how Krea or Atris could do that XD. Besides, Luke sought out Yoda to train under him but our character isn't a beginner-Jedi as Luke was, so what'd be the point of seeking out a Jedi-master in the game? Well, I could imagine us seeking out some Jedi Master in order to gain information about the Sith Lords, but that's about it...
  20. But without an Yoda, or so it seems so far
  21. Why not? Twi'leks are hot! :D (even if I'll have to say that Bastila isn't as hot as them ;p)
  22. I wonder.. If there was a civil war among the Sith after Revan's return and the Star Forge somehow was destroyed, then one'd think that the forces of the Sith, including that mssive fleet, would have dropped somewhat at this point at least.
  23. . I have a FEELING of that Bastila wasn't (or rather: isn't) very popular among most of the people here...
  24. What happened to her? Well, it may depend on your choices in the beginning of KOTOR 2, I'd say. After all, we gotta remember that we'll be given the choice to set events in the second game as we played them in KOTOR 2, or almost as we played them... And I think Bastila will be one of these choices since she was, after all, one of the key characters of the story in KOTOR 1.
