  1. It helps if you also belt out the Soviet national anthem. Cue in Patrick Swayze!
  2. This is one of the many reasons why I was againstthe war. Saddam was a brutal dictator, yet he maintained control and stability while Bush and his cronies brought6 in chaos and destruction. Only the Iraqis can give themselves peace and stability. It cannot, will not be forced upon them. No matter how many troops Bush brings in the ethnic divisions will tear that country apart anbd to think otherwise is being naive. The US may be a melting pot, but Iraq is not. I do think that their will be peace, eventually, but only when one faction is dominant and can brutally bully others into place. Much like what Iraq had prior to Bush's invasion. If people can just learn to leave each other alone a lot of the problems over there, and here, would probably not exist.
  3. Wel, they do have better television. I wouldn't have to download my episodes of Doctor Who.

Guns don't kill people. Physics kill people.
  5. You know, if I found myself in England I would probably never return to the US. Then agai8n, if I found myself in England I would be wondering how the bloody hell I got there!

I am currently listening to トルキア from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OST.
  8. Hmmm... Thanks. I'll give it a try.
  9. Well, I can't afford the newest version of Microsoft Office so I am going to give this a try. I am not a super advance user of office software but I do ike to do desktop publishing. Is there a software like OpenOffice that can mimic that?

My god, of course! I'll have to tell my cousin the ballistics wounds expert. "Mate, you're look at it all wrong. This wasn't a fatal shooting it was succesful saving." Nurses, priests, therapists all these people are naturally associated with guns. Mother Theresa herself had a 155mm howitzer if I recall. I don't know why I didn't make the connection before. Get me the President! Guns are weapons, plain and simple. Weapons can be used to end life and can be used to protect life from those who wish to end it. It all depends on the motivations of the one who wields the weapon, and not the will of the weapon itself.
  11. Has anyone here use OpenOffice, and if so how is it? For those who do not know what I am talking about here is a link: http://www.openoffice.org/index.html It is a free Office Suite that supposedly by comparable to Microsoft Office, but free.
  12. We all know the style of Bethesda's in house games are like and the overall quality of their writing. Remember, I always expect the worse case scenerio. More often than not, it happens. Besides, the raping of Fallout happened before Bethesda got their grubby digits on it.
  13. That almost sounds like fun. Maybe.
  14. With the exception on a a couple of games the performance have increased compared to XP. It boots up faster, programs open and close faster, and the such. So far the only game that is giving me any headache in the slow down department since the RAM increase is NWN2 and that is probably because the game really needs to be better optimized.
  15. First there was the raping of Ultima, Pool of Radiance, the Might and Magic series, then Fallout, next was Shadowrun, and now Wing Commander. What old game series is going to get raped and sodomized next? Phantasie? Wizardry? I know! WASTELAND! grrrr....
  16. The US government treated the native Americans very brutally.
  17. In any event it looks like this new Wing Commander is going to be Wing Commander in name only, therefore worthless.
  18. Maybe he is out of beef jerky?
  19. I did say all nations need to be held accountable. That does include Russia.
  20. True. Maybe that should change as well. There needs to be some level of accountability for organizations like the CIA so that these sorts of abuses do not happen, and if they do those who commit such acts are duly punished.
  21. Then it should follow through with other countries as well. Each country's spy network needs to be held accountable for their actions according to the laws set forth by the international community. No one should be above the law.
  22. There is nothing wrong being culturally diverse and joining as one shouldn't counteract that diversity. It should strengthen it, allowing differing ideas, cultures, and people join together in allow the best aspects of each rise in a gestalt. Okay, that is a bit too utopic.
  23. well, one idea is to rein them in and make them accountable to federal and international law.
  24. The same could be said of any synthetic garment. Why would you be wearing cold weather gear near radiant heat or fire anyway? Worse. Case. Scenerio. You never know what may happen in a combat situation.
  25. The thing is I am not an atheist. I go by what I know and lets just say I had my own religious epiphany. I simply refuse to worship God or Jesus. They have nothing I want and they have a certain aspects in their "demands" in which I highly disagree. I am unrepentent and will always be so. One man's sin is another man's salvation, Blank. That is one thing God fails to understand. Dark Moth, I consider you a bit more left than the right wingers that I describe.
