  1. That may be so, but it doesn't make a fair and unbiased trial.
  2. That card only uses OpenGL up to 1.3 if I remember correctly. KotOR 2 requires 1.4 minimum.
  3. There's that to. I am a bit of both.
  4. The way I see it if the Loch Ness Monster exists, then good for it. If it leaves me alone I will leave it alone. If the Loch Ness monster doesn't exist it wouldn't mean a thing to me anyway so why even worry about it. All this hoopla over nothing is just sad.
  5. Ninja Gaiden for the NES. Whatever. I just want a really hard CRPG that the critters' AI use the full abilities and solid tactics.
  6. How would non-magic soild work to impede a skeleton's vision? Magic wouldn't be the answer since the soil is nonmagical. Also this is far far far removed from the the topic and it seems to me you are just spamming off topic, which is a bad bad thing for a moderator to do. Maybe you should just lock the thread if you plan on continue to spam it.
  7. I want the CRPG equivelent to Ninja Gaiden Black for the PC.
  8. terrible idea. witness reactions to questions/comments are crucial to jury members' ability to discern truth from lie. most people don't lie well, and it is often easy to tell from their facial expressions, body language, etc. taks Possibly, but the jury may also be biased if the accused or the accuser is famous and widely known.
  9. Why would that work?
  10. Colin Baker's Doctor was going through his midlife crisis. I liked the 6th Doctor for it often showed the Doctor's darker nature, and a nice contrast for Peter Davison's pretty boy Doctor.
  11. RTD may have started the new series but he is not needed to continue it. Doctor Who had a lot of producers and writers before him and it can have a lot of producers and writers after. If he wants to move on to other projects instead of getting burnt out then more power to him and I wish him a lot of success. JNT- John Nathan Turner -hasn't had a hand in Doctor Who for quite a number of years. Also there is speculation for a new Doctor Who movie, but it deals with the 8th Doctor again. I look forward to that.
  12. That would be dust of disappearance or someone could just cast invisibility to undead.
  13. PoOR2 was pretty bad.
  14. But ... how does it see? Magic.
  15. Here I thought Pixie Stick was older than me.
  16. The expansion OCs yes, but not the base OC. The expansion OCs were a lot better than the base OC in NWN1. As for the PMs, it was only 5 bucks.

    Hogzilla!

Only thing it needs is unnecessary spikey bits and we would have a dire boar for DnD LARP!
  18. yes. visceris is the anti-volourn. it is and has always been that way. it may not be possible to hide from the impending doom. taks Eh? Volourn and I agree on a lot of things. On NWN1... Notso much.
  19. Hmmm... *ahem* I hate MMORPGs. It had to be said. Really.
  20. Man, that is some harsh criticism there. Normally I am a gushing rabid fanboy of NWN2.
  21. Personal Shopper? I VOLUNTEER!
  22. In my ever so humble opinion you would be better off sticking to XP Pro til you are ready or need to jump to Vista then get a 64 bit version of either Home Premium or Ultimate.
  23. Extracting the duergar at the point when I took over as lead would have been even more disruptive than leaving them in. But since they were in, having them use invisibility and enlarge powers would have been overkill. PCs have enough difficulty hitting at that level. They don't need a 50% concealment penalty stacked on top of it -- not within the first hour of gameplay. I thin you seriously underestimate the capabilities of your player base, Mr. Sawyer. Its almost insulting. In those instances I had Bevil charge in to go into melee, with Amee casting enlarge on the fighter. Now depending on my character I would either go into melee as well, or shoot them at range. Once outside, the duration of the enlarge spell should still be in effect I continue to use Bevil as a meat shield, and with his high AC (for that level at least) and high hit points (relatively speaking) he is good to use against invisible duergar. Once visible Amee would use her 0 level attack spells while my character give support to Bevil, either giving him a healing potion if needed or an additional target for the Duergar. Once at the bridge I would use the NPCs there as the meat shields while my party give support. Its not so difficult, Mr. Sawyer, if you put some thought in your tactics. Not all your player base are dumb nor do we need our hand held. I would have loved to see NWN2 be "Ninja Gaiden Black" hard, but through intelligent AI tactics and not by sheer numbers. I would have not only given the Deurgar the full use of their abilities, but made each one a 1st level Warrior (NPC class) wielding a hand axe or short sword. Duegar found later in the game, the ones that attack you when Elanee comes along, equal to the party level with 1 wizard, 2 fighters, and 1 cleric along with the bladeling. The spellcasters give cover fire while the the fighter types move in. The cleric casting healing spells when needed. Also I would have had all the duergar invisible prior to the Bladeling talking so it would have appeared the bladeling was all alone. Make us earn our experience points and levels.
  24. Without the duergar using there full abilities there was no risk to begin with.
  25. Yes clearly this is an appropriate challenge for a party of three 2nd level characters. Hey, if you guys didn't want to use the critters you put in the game to their fullest ability, which they would logically have, then you should have been good DMs and not put them there in the first place. Frankly, Mr. Sawyer, I would have used goblins in the starting areas instead of Duergar. Goblns are numerous, weak, and easily controllable for the Bladelings and Githyanki to bully to become their shock troops. The duegar I would have used in the underground parts of the Duskwood. It would have made more sense and would have worked better given the back story used for those goblins. Oh, and it was 3 third level characters, or 2 third and 1 second, or 2 third and 1 first, depending on if you play a race with a ECL.
