  1. Justice needs to be swift, accurate, and severe.
  2. I think one can logically say that your argument about logic with Meta is off topic, Qwerty.
  3. I think he is underaged.
  4. Games? I am talking comic books here.
  5. What is wrong for one might be right for another.
  6. One natural resistance that in most fictional literature (comic books and so on) shows is the collective conscienceness. That the collective mental and soul energy that humans possess protects one from the supernatural.
  7. True enough, Cant. It doesn't matter who wins or lose, it is the argument itself that matters.
  8. I can see it having Jade Empire style gameplay with Sonic characters and larger areas to pick up speed.
  9. AAAAAAAAACK! Not Elton John! *runs and hides*
  10. Not in Iowa. We have minimums that have to be enforced in sentencing. Judges can sentence higher than the minimum or lower than the maximum, but they cannot go beyond these limits.
  11. Well, I am not aiming for any melodrama. I think you are just putting in the melodrama when there is no melodrama to be had.
  12. If you say so, but I think you are reading way too much in my ramblings. I think I got about half way through it before I stopped. I plan on going through it again once I get my new motherboard. I had to RMA the last one because it was DOA.
  13. Um... Religion bad. Science pretty.
  14. I did not say gaming is doomed here. I said that games today are lacking in originality. Big difference there, buddy. There is also a difference between simple games and simple gameplay. Planescape Torment has simple gameplay but is a fairly complex game due to its plot and character development. Oblivion, as was Jade Empire, was simple all the way around, gameplay and plot. Bloodlines was a simple game in terms of plot and character development, but the gameplay was a bit of a challenge due to its twitch factor. Stalker even more so, simple game storywise, but hard gameplay.
  15. I thought the idea for harsh sentences on drugs is to discourage people getting stoned.
  16. Well, duh. That is why I had the words "up to" to show that. Minimum is 6 months in prison and a $1000 fine.
  17. How was that melodramatic? I am just pointing out the sad state of affairs in the entertainment industry, particularly in computer gaming. Please tell me, how is that melodramatic? I just do not see it.
  18. Where I live the man could have been sentenced up to 5 years in prison and up to $7,500 USD in fines. I think the man got pretty damn easily.
  19. I tried the monk type. I never get too with him.
  20. Eh? What drama? That's just the way it is. Not only in computer games, but in almost in all entertainment media.
  21. Gaming has no future, only the past with recycled plotlines, simpler gameplay, and better graphics.
  22. Sorry, but I am not a pair of hosery.
  23. It is simple regional differences in linguistics. Although English is one of the most difficult languages in the world to master as a second or third language, American English is simpler than the English that has been influence greater by British culture such as Canada or even Australia. That is why we have one spelling for check, while having multiple meanings, while Canada has two spellings for check/cheque, with each spelling having their own definition.
  24. He is also dead. Dead I say.
