That sounds like an expensive experiment heh. With a cracked FEAR it crashes on exit. I doubt a D2D version of FEAR would do that. I haven't tested it, but I imagine quite an outrage if it did.

Disc swapping is a hassle though, and the game boots faster without a disc. No-CD cracks are nice, but they tend to crash newer games, such as FEAR.

Well, you aren't technically allowed to share with your siblings anyways. Nor are you technically allowed to install on two computers. If that's a deal breaker for you, then I guess that's that. Naturally they have to try to do something to stop outright piracy.
