That sounds like an expensive experiment heh. With a cracked FEAR it crashes on exit. I doubt a D2D version of FEAR would do that. I haven't tested it, but I imagine quite an outrage if it did.

Disc swapping is a hassle though, and the game boots faster without a disc. No-CD cracks are nice, but they tend to crash newer games, such as FEAR.

Naturally they have to try to do something to stop outright piracy. Direct2Drive PC version. How do you normally work the elevators Jim? I have to face certain directions until the floor I want appears highlighted next to the "e" key.

I have 1.2. I just get options to go 1st and studio. Actually all the elevators are kind of a b!tch to use. In Vegas, I can't go to the 8th floor unless I follow that scientest heading up there.

It was fun disarming the assassin in the playboy mission and watching her get on her knees and surrender. btw I still don't know how to get up to the heleport in that level, any hint I'll appreciate: :lol:

And is there a way to the rooftop in the playboy place? The elevator just takes me to the studio and the 1st floor. Yet I see in the map there's a rooftop, with about 5 guards.
