A lot of people say the 680i is trash, I was fortunate to not have any problems with it aside from an odd issue when the reboot stalls after an OS crash, but that is solved by unplugging and plugging back in the psu. But it's the only board that supports Core 2 + SLI @ full 16x bandwidth for both cards
