  1. So this is the new game by Obsidian and Private Division.... Edit: Nevermind, looks like the same people who blocked me are on the thread, like every other thread I make. This obviously wasn't a troll thread but leave it to these members to try to make it out as so Merry Christmas to all, even the blockers!
  2. I see a few titles that a $4.99 cheaper, I appreciate but still recovering from the l ast. I will save up $50 for the spring sale
  3. Shoot me... I loke Fallout 4 more than Fallout 3 and New Vegas lol The scary thing for you guys must realize is that there are more people out there like me. We are not of rare breed but, just people who examine the world with a different set of eyes.
  4. Agreed. That would be a stupid idea lol
  5. You are aware you need to beat it twice to get the full story "reveal"? Though I guess most here will have figured out what would/could happen after the first time through... I only really beat the main story, because I wanted to uninstall it and move on quickly. I have so much more quests in the game but didn't want to put in like 200+ hours to it
  6. LOL! He's kinda the Incredible Hulk of the Obsidian forums. He's a member that always refers to himself in third person, he is very popular amongst the crowd and always writes the same tagline at the end of every comment (instead of making it a signature). I'm surprised he hasn't been active on this thread.
  7. It was only a joke I didn't even spell his name right lol Shows how much I pay attention :/
  8. Apology accepted but probably unnecessary. I can't tell you how many people here state their opinions without anything backing them up, and placing those assumptions as fact. That has somehow become the toxicity of the political forums too. Earlier this year I was told by a couple members (from here) that forums are supposed to be drama, forums are basically made for arguing and it doesn't matter how ill one looks, they should argue even if they don't have evidence to back up their statements. It's most important to remind yourself that you don't actually know these people, even if you have been on these forums for years. I mean, you get to know pieces of them but since we don't know anyone here in real life, it's different from conversating with people IRL. So don't beat yourself up too bad, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
  9. Well... since people are coming clean about alternate accounts, I should probably admit here and now that I am indeed, Gromir. Gromir doesn't like having just one account, after all those years, it was time to start trouble under another name. HA! GOOD FUN!
  10. I finally beat Dragon's Dogma and Quantum Break tonight. Still working on Shadow Tactics and a couple others I think I've completed like 35% of my library now lol
  11. I was never a fan of hers... even when she played Cyborg Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat tv series...
  12. Surprised nobody said Pillars, Tyranny, Alpha Protocal or Kotor 2
  13. Yep. PS4 is much better than everyone gives it credit for. That's the truth but unfortunately the gaming community usually works in opposites. Still, the PS4 can hold its own against pc, just with exclusives alone, easily. So glad I have one and seeing games like this only just revalidates my purchase
  14. I will be excited for the new Obsidian project after I know what it is and see gameplay And I'm not too sure about that yet, seems like Pillars Of Eternity works better on a controller than mouse + keyboard, same could be said for Divinity Origin Sin and Shadow Tactics. I'm not just talking preference because I prefer mouse and keyboard in general but some games I never thought would be better on controller - just are. Maybe they are more responsive and just more natural feeling with the games.
  15. I wonder if that means that Titan Quest will be getting an update for controller support on Steam. That would be awesome :D
  16. I'll have to try out the Shadowrun games. They are super cheap when on sale so I'll wait for then.
  17. That was the point of Life Is Strange though, to be an almost film-like interactive session. Same thing with Quantum Break which has 2 versions of every television episode which changes depending on your choice (probably why these games are so short). But at least those two endings are very limited and are both more focused and better written than those rpg's that have 8 different endings at the end of the day
  18. Some of us followed the rules by posting our lists as a PM. Yeah I read the rules but then I saw the comments were lists so I thought something had changed :/
  19. Johnny Depp... every character he plays is the same but with a different outfit and facial hair. (Excluding Edwards Scissorhands which was his freshest acting).
  20. Nostalgia ALWAYS clouds people's minds from rationality. The old games may have been good at release but they have aged horribly and their stories were rubbish. Now, for the people who are saying "Where are the tombs? Where is the raiding?", I question if they have actually played the new Tomb Raider games as they do have tins of caves, tombs abd raiding lol And then there's the whole dual pistol thing *facepalm*. The new reboots are great, much better than the 90's originals and what's more is that they're certainly not riding on the coat-tails of the old games which killed themselves, so the new games are actually good if not great.
  21. AAA developers always making those promises lmao The only games where developers have actually developed on those types promises? Single-player narrative-driven cinematic story games, such as Tell-Tale games, Life Is Strange, Quantum Break, etc where developers said "Every choice you castly affects the storyline." Which is true at least.
  22. So far, I have finished 100 of 297 games, I have very long reviews for each of them. I know I will play every game, though admittedly I don't get alot of time to play except gor the holidays (like now). So I'm cranking hours in this year and utilizing my time to beat certain games on the list, yes.
  23. I know exactly how you mean. What I do is install the ones I want to play the most, uninstall the others, that way there's an eliminated group. Then I move onto which ones are shorter and pretty much try to finish the shortest ones first. Working my way up to the longer titles. Process of evolution I suppose. I'm currently trading off between: Quantum Break - 5 hours in *Courtesy if ShadySands And... Shadow Tactics: Blades Of The Shogun - 17 hours in. (Courtesy of Oner) Both games I really enjoy, but for different reasons. They are impressive titles.
