Hey... I like Candy Crush, it's a pretty casual hardcore game, you don't need to pay to win or anything like that Not bad to waste time when on break at work or something. -
The Obsidian Community all-time top 106 games - FULL RESULTS!

I totally torgot about Grim Fagdango, classic. Awwwe Barty likes Undertale <3 I would have nevah guessed -
You are free to mock me of my confession on the guilty pleasure grill and the title but I ask that you nor anyone mock Obsidian of their hard excrutiating work for that hurt me as an individual. Also, keep in mind that Frank and Beans are an everyday essential for me, it's something I take very serious - just as the development of this game. I have made it an unsworn mission to bring about attentive alert that this is all happening, and sadly, it's very real. As everyone seems to agree thst the beta is a mess or of dissapointment. I understand nobody likes hearing what needs to be said, especially if it labels the community for such a problem in the future. I can try to locate the video, not sure if I will be successful. I'm likely going to rage before finding it, I admit, as it's no longer in my recommendations. When it comes to taint of an/the untaint, I tend to deal with this in absolutes. As my Grandmother in El Paso would say "One bad bean spoils the bunch." And right she was. For the pride of preparation cannot be interjected with the fallacies of the unknown or random foreign design which is why I classify thus as impure (including myself if I would to be harm the development of Deadfire in any way). And yes, forced, just like the whole SJW with the first game. I can just see the tide cycle emerge again, when people play the game and get angry with something and demanding sweet retribution.... or else! https://youtu.be/LGQgjBSE2xA The community has always had a wanting to force developers to redirect their vision to their needs in an excuse to "better the game for all gamers" most of the time, this never works as it ultimately ruins the game if developers give in to drastically changing somethimg such as fully replacing combat systems and so on. I would love to say that I am wrong but.... I love Frank and Beans.

When I cook my 6 inch weiner on a grill, I, like every other frank lover in America, praise it before it is finished. Sometimes, I find that the cook is always ruined if someone else takes over, oftten resulting in carcinogenic outflow in the end (a burnt frank is never a good day). Almost every video I've seen has some made sort of snide mockery towards Obsidian, some crusade/mission to point out the design flaws of both the beta and even the original Pillars (which is irrelevant) and replace the stat system/class system. The last one I saw was hellbent on pointing out how the multi-class system is a failure and was a waste of resources and time, it was discouraging at best to watch such a thing uploaded to my favorite app, and what more, it was on my recommended videos. "Tis a mess of a system lads, look here, have a laugh... e'ryone is going to play as a single class chatacter for reason A to B" Blah blah tada and so forthism. Undermind that I don't see it as constructive criticism, I just see it as people unhappy with the flow of the current product and a way to manipulate the developers into doing their bidding. I don't see any excitement or hype here or on YouTube unfortunately, so far, see all the excitement and hype on the Dungeons & Dragons groups on facebook. Said no pebble unturned, if it were up to me, I'd say for devs to reach their initial vision without the squandering and impure peach juices of the community, whether it be here or anywhere else.. that way, when they fail hard, it will be on them. Either way, I'm very excited whether the game is poor or not. One thing that any backed game has proven is that the taint of a community is never a good thing Hopefully Obsidian's hand is not forced out of the entitlement of the people's voice but the forever grateful vision which is pure and if you will, free spirit. Better a free spirit of the land, than a tamed one by the people who bought it.

Mmmkay. Now I see that many beta testers on YouTube and such are hating on the Deadfire beta. I just hope this doesn't turn Deadfire into a messy flop. That would not be kind to the developers or myself. See, in the newest video update, Obsidian says that they are taking fan's criticisms and the beta tester's feedback to improve the game. Question is, how will they know who lr what to improve when? The problem is that everyone's feedback has been either so split or so off-vision that it's troublesome and comfusing to know what goes where and how to do so in moderation and comtainment. So if the game fails due to horrid balance or the like, I cannot blame the developers and publishers, but the community which manipulated the fail right out of the gate. I want this game to succeed, so please read and heed this entry. Stay ever true and do what you do, Thank you Obsidian!

Will the sequel see the same overly induced religeous treatment as the original? Dear God, I hope so! As my other thread stated recently in the PoE1 section, my absolute favorite thing about PoE1 was the basis and foundation set Eora on Religeon an how Religeon always brings communities together rather than divide them - much like real life. This, I believe (no pun intended) is a crucial theme to continue within the world of Pillars. Will it continue the righteous path? Or will it stray without conviction. My heart tells me that Religeon will play an even bigger role... one can hope!

I wasn't meaning from this community specifically, just in general from my generation :/ It was just my personal existence of experience from groups of common age or disrespected developers who thought out the box to being us something new and when they did, criticized and chastized the community did for daring to serve them a treat. Thankfully, we have games like Hollow Knight, Shovel Knight, Dragon Knight, Willy-Nilly Knight, Super-Chibi Knight, Muffin Knight, Arkham Knight which have all proven that we can still enjoy retro in today's age without feeling sorry for myself and dwelling in the past ticket of Almur. I'm looking at Alvin Alvaron for this, who opposed me quite critically for speaking the truth. Diminishing my honor in front of thousands, the joke's on him as that was before the indie movement took place. I foretold it would happen and proved therewas I shant be but appreciated for this just list I have presented. Sorry. Wasn't talking about this group of individuals.

I would have felt guilty if I had focused on the older games and let nostalgia blind me. If I am to be true and honest with myself, gaming since before the "golden" age of gaming, I can confess that my most memorable gaming moments in life are from more modern/newer games than old ones of yesteryear. Which is why I had to make my list full of newer titles. Very happy to see Super Meat Boy officially got a spot. A mdern classic that truly outdoes alot of retro platformers, the response in the controller is much faster thanks to newer technology and the boss fights with raging metal music is fitting. Now, I have seasonal hope that some of the other games I nominated will win some spots, though my choices were underrated and hostility grows towards them for outdoing the old and ushering the new indie movement from a few years back. Shovel Knight and Hotline Miami would be a couple other great examples of retro new outdoing retro old. I feel confident in this belief as it has only shown true, what say you?

Uhh... Sure? The tropical island beach resort has a lot in common with post-apocalyptic Australia with less liquid water than Mars. IGN 8/10 Too much water. On a more serious note, I'm not talking about the climate or environment, but the actual town structure itself. Edit: Actually you're right, it wasn't Mad Max I was thinking of but the vertically challenged city in Waterworld. My bad!

So, looking for some kind of antenne for a pc I've built, rather than putting an onboard one inside, this pc will not be for gaming. So which usb wifi adaptor would be best? Budget = let's say... $25-ish

Will the guns be more diverse this time around? I'm not expecting guns that shoot out baby dragons or snything but a shotgun or maybe a pirate gattling gun would be nice, especially for tanks/off-tanks. Blowguns would be great for paladins as well. Should we have that Mad Max vibe that the game does indeed seem to convey.

I picked up Planescape Torment Enhaced Edition Steam Edition since it was only $6 something YAY ME!

I'll start... Let's be honest here, one of the greatest assets of Pillars Of Eternity is it's focus on Religion and how it shapes ajd brings a nation together. As a Christian, I loved the whole "Holier than thou" perspective and how that translated to the watcher. And I think we'd be lying if we said that wasn't a huge strength for Pillars and the interest that the story held. Religion often glues certain parts of a community together and that surely showed true in Eora. What was your favorite thing about Pillars Of Eternity? (Without spoiling of course!)

Movies You've Seen (or would like to see) Recently
SonicMage117 replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Way Off-Topic
I've seen almost all his films, the only ones I can say that stick out to me as non-samey is his teen act in Nightmare On Elm Street which was his very first film, and then Edward Scissorhands, and Gilbert Grape where he wasn't interjecting some non-seriousness somewhere. Sleepy Hollow was the first movie in which featured his famous nose twitch/lip quiver experssion in which made him look a bit nervous, every movie since then (serious and comedy), including Pirates, The Lone Ranger, Sleepy Hollow, The 9th Gate and even the movie where he had his comsienceness uploaded to a computer all have this same quality among others found with the likeness of his Sleepy Hollow character in some way or another. When they revealed his casting as the icr prince in the new Harry Potter movie, fans outraged and I think it's because of this. However, if it was the 80's or 90's, they'd be cheering because those were the days where everyone loved Johnny. Even Chocolate which was a romance movie where he played a gypsy was ultimately ruined by Depp forcing his previo character unto the set. But all that said, I'll always love Pirates and Edward Scissorhands. Those are classics and fit young Johnny and old Johnny the best imo.
