It's not Avalance-related; Had the same issue in 6-4, after beating one of the henchmen, I would select the boon and the game would freeze (the henchman card burns away and the screen is now empty, but no arrow or whatever pops up, nor an option to close the location appears; can't play any cards either). Tried both VRT and restarting the game completely - both did not help. Had to forfeit.

Confused About Progression
Nerevarine replied to Sines314's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
As mentioned by Strormbringer, you can re-make party in between scenarios at any time, as well as move cards around from one character to another, if you wish, so that should cover most of your confusions straight-up. The "progression" is certainly noticeable, as, again mentioned by Stormbringer, you can choose which cards to keep and which to discard after each scenario (where you can choose to keep the new cards you obtained in the scenario or throw them away if they aren't good enough). If you get your party to somewhere around AD5 or AD6 and then decide to replay some scenarios in early adventures, you will notice how both your skills and your more powerful cards you've acquire before (whether they are based or treasure loot) make it easier - having a straight up +15 on a 10 check, with a bunch of d12s and d8s because why the hell not? As far as the gold goes - yes, it is rather slow, but the daily challenges do help a little bit. However, the best way (not sure if this was intended or not) to earn gold is to re-run early adventures (either B-1 or 1-2 because no Villain) for an easy 350 gold with a 6-man party. -
Losing dice, rolling for 0s
Nerevarine replied to Armont's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
This seems to be more of a Warden-centred bug, where you can't play (at least) weapons until you do a VRT. Doesn't matter who encounters Warden (happened in 6-5) and I am pretty sure whether you succeed or fail the BYA check doesn't matter either - you just straight up need to do a VRT to be able to play weapons on that check. I have only witnessed this behaviour on Warden and I have seen it happening on both Amiri and Harsk (others in my party either haven't encountered them or don't use weapons). -
I ran same team, minus Lem and beat it on first try. Lini and Seelah had two cures each and I also had a Shaman on both Amiri and Sajan, allowing me to recharge cards across the whole party, so the BYA roll on Warden of Runes didn't matter too much (moreover, Sajan and Amiri would ignore that damage). I did run into the Villain a few times before clearing the entire deck and I had unlucky rolls, having to discard my hand a few times, still, I managed to keep all of my characters alive. The "bury a card at the start of the turn" part sucks, but there are some cards that you can sacrifice without feeling too bad, because of how the scenario goes. Moreover, at times, due to BYA damage and such, you might start a turn with 0 cards, so you kinda "win" there. Revelation Quill is a good item to have near the end, allowing you to re-arrange the last 5 cards in a way that you will encounter Karzoug last. Speaking Karzoug, anti-fire armours are helpful. Additionally, any cards against Giants from AD3 might be useful (I had Black Arrow Longbow, Jakardros Sovark and Vale Temros, so there was some dice against Wardens). Last tip would be not to worry too much about BYA checks against Wardens and Karzoug - even if you discard some blessings, you may still fail the roll and take the damage, except that you lost another card beforehand. Hope any of this helps.

Amiri's Move Another power bug
Nerevarine replied to vpumeyyv's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Can confirm this one - couldn't use the power to move a character to Amiri's position in various situations. She can still move to another location and take another player with her just fine, but she can't move a character without moving herself anymore. -
Not sure exactly what you're trying to address with this post, but the reward pickup list is great no matter what its original intention was - allows people like me to "bank" gold from the challenges (so that in case I'm out of gold when a new deck comes out unexpectedly, I'll have some gold stored with the challenge rewards). Just that this small visual bug, while causing no harm, is still a visual bug. Once the completed challenges display the right amount of gold, a somewhat insignificant but neat addition would be to display the total amount of gold stored with the completed challenge rewards.
-
The "pickup rewards" tab in daily challenges displays the gold reward equal to the current daily challenge's reward, as seen in the two pictures below: This is just a visual bug, claiming the reward gives you the right amount of gold (100 for the first 3 challenges seen, for example). Recharging discarded cards
Nerevarine replied to La1cajun's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Normally that doesn't happen, unless stated by the card. For example, discarding a spell, that you could normally recharge after use, due to combat damage will not let you recharge it. When Lini discards an ally due to combat damage, she's not given an option to recharge it either, because you didn't play it. But a card like Sihedron Medallion clearly states that "after playing this card, <...> recharge it". Do you remember which card(s) it was? -
What device type are you on?: Android What version of the OS are you running: 4.2.2 What is your PFID#? 3E90A1B5416DECA Is pass & play on? Is permadeath on?: No and no Story, Battle at the Dam Characters in Party: Harsk, Seelah, Lini, Sajan, Amiri Location of each character: Amiri at the Dam (Open), Lini at Waterfront (Open), the rest in closed random locations Turn Order: Same as stated in party list. Scenario & Scenario Difficulty: Legendary. -5 blessings and probably "bury 1 if you take more than 1 damage" wildcards. What card was encountered when the issue occurred?: Villain, Malugus Kreeg Scenario on any difficulty clearly states that the Dam may not be temporarily closed. Waterfront (the furthest location from the Dam) and the Dam itself were the only open locations. Lini encountered villain for the first time during the scenario in Waterfront. After the dialogue between the villain and the party, the temp. closing screen came up, allowing me to temp. close the Dam with Amiri. She buried 2 (1d4 result) cards to temp. close it. The location then changed to the hourglass icon, indicating that the location was indeed temporarily closed. Lini proceeded to defeat the villain, who was now cornered. After the capture of the villain, the scenario ended with a victory.

Somewhat related, had multiple bugs when encountering Jaagrath on legendary difficulty: All 5 of my party members (Harsk, Seelah, Lini, Sajan and Amiri) were in the last open location, when Lini encountered Jaagrath (she goes 3rd order-wise). Jaagrath first starts by dealing 2 (instead of regular 1) damage to Amiri, after which Amiri is able to roll for the first check or pass it to another character. I choose to roll, using some cards, and succeed. Jaagrath then targets Seelah, dealing 1 damage to her. Then, focus switches to Lini's tab, where she takes no damage and is able to roll for the second check. I choose to pass it to Amiri, succeed and Jaagrath is defeated.

[Bug 1.1.5] Cannot pick a power feat
Nerevarine replied to Physiea's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Yes, he will receive both the reward for the failed scenario and the adventure reward. Had a similar situation where one of my characters died during 1-1 scenario and didn't get the skill feat reward. Once I completed the whole adventure, they didn't get the card feat either. When I replayed the 1-1 scenario and got the check with that character, I got both the skill feat and the card feat. -
[Bug 1.1.5] Cannot pick a power feat
Nerevarine replied to Physiea's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Could be that you were doing a story scenario and the ineligible character died during the scenario (i.e. they did not complete it). If it was a story scenario, check your character's completion, see if the scenario is registered as completed or not. -
The new wildcard power Distractions (if you acquire a blessing or an ally, end your turn) can be encountered during the Local Heroes scenario (where you can attempt to close locations if you acquire an ally), see the image below: This means that as soon as you acquire an ally, you end your turn, unable to attempt to close location (tested it on the latest live update on Android). Not sure if this was accidentally overlooked or what, but seems like a huge flaw if you were unlucky enough to get that specific widlcard on that specific scenario (although you can always just forfeit and restart).
