  1. They just can't get these right, can they? Lini's Wild Empathy is also not working. I presume it's related.
  2. Okay, so in Sandpoint Under Siege, fighting a Spectre after repelling Longtooth. Blessing of Pharasma is the only card in my hand so I discard it to Arcane Blast, then roll the dice, perhaps too quickly for the game to register? Anyway, it ended up: *She rolled 3d6, I don't recall if there were any plus bonuses or not. *The Blessing was returned to her hand ??? *The result was high enough to clear the check, but the Spectre was undefeated (so it must not have added the Magic trait). So uh yeah, that was weird. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Sandpoint Under Siege, Night Approaches and Fortified Position Party of Seoni, Amiri and Harsk Version 1.1.6 in a game continued from pre-update
  3. For adventures in deck 5, Darkest Night increases bane difficulty by five but still says it increases by only 4. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6
  4. Lem is in the Ravenous Crypts of Gluttony with too few cards in his deck to draw to the increased hand size. He has a Mass Cure and Teleport in hand, so I cast the teleport and look to see who else could use a cure. I eventually decide to send him to the Throne Room with Valeros. I'm guessing that I was still looking at Ezren(who was in the Vault of Greed) at the time. Anyway, on Valeros's turn when I cast the cure, Ezren is there as well. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Thassilonian Sins, Legendary difficulty, Darkest Night and Night Approaches Pass and play off, permadeath on Party of Lem, Valeros, Merisiel, Kyra, Harsk, and Ezren

  5. Yup. Guide to the Beyond, which is only supposed to give +2 to acquiring Arcane or Divine boons, also allows you to give this bonus to recharging them. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, The Halls of Seduction, Legendary difficulty Pass and play and permadeath both off Party of six, Ezren using Guide
  6. Title says it all. Neither the banishing when burying multiple cards, nor the ending turn when acquiring allies or blessings, actually takes effect. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, The Halls of Seduction
  7. Hmm. You don't normally have to switch back to the active character before rolling. Maybe it wanted you to roll while still focusing on Ameiko?
  8. Title pretty much says it all. Played Blessing of the Gods on Ezren's Arcane combat check while Blessing of Irori was on top. Each card granted two dice instead of one. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Quest mode, normal difficulty, scenario power Blood in the Sand equivalent Pass and play and permadeath both off
  9. Wrong ability name. But yes, this happens. There's already a thread on it, even. (not that finding it is particularly feasible) http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/90420-dice-can-be-rolled-between-using-seelahs-inspired-grace-and-adding-its-die/
  10. Mmm. Yes. I did notice that and then forgot to report it. Now I'm curious: does it work with spells?
  11. I suspect the reason is that you're not seeing the individual card that you're discarding until after it happens. In any case, yes, you'll have to drag the card from deck to discard. (also don't let these other guys confuse you; Crusade is her *other* ability and the one that applies to the location deck.)
  12. ...and it's not even just melee combat. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode This was observed with Valeros as well (although there it obviously was melee)
  13. Wow, that's an impressively persistent bug. Have you tried completely removing the party and reforming a new one with the same characters? Don't worry, you shouldn't lose any progress by doing so, so long as you use the experienced characters.
  14. ...Nnnnnnot... Really? There's more exploring to do but you also have more explore power, and Magga still only hits once per character turn. Most of the locations that are added are lower value than the first ones though so there's less chance of Magga hitting the high value ones before you can clear them out. And later on in the scenario there's more chance that Magga will whiff by hitting empty locations. Plus, the ratio of locations to characters is lower, so you're less likely to run out of explore power in your deck. It gets harder if your characters are stuck in empty locations on legendary but otherwise I think it's at worst the same difficulty.
  15. Yeah, the key is to be very aggressive. Don't JUST use all your blessings and allies to explore; use the end of turn optional discards to make sure your next hand is full of them too. (If you didn't know, you can do it every turn by clicking the trash can in the phases list instead of the big end of turn button to end your turn.) Recharge your armor, discard everything else except your one weapon. There's no especially tough combat in this scenario and it doesn't last long enough that you're likely to die. There's still some random chance involved but if you're aggressive enough you can probably get there in a couple tries. (Also, this scenario doesn't get harder with more characters like most - it might actually get easier.)
  16. Well that changes things some. Throwing all the toughest characters together is probably not the toughest combination. The toughest combination I've played with thus far is Amiri, Harsk and Seoni. Mostly because they have zero healing ability, but two of three also have fairly limited ability to loop their decks. I'm on the fence as to whether swapping any of them out might make it harder - Seoni becomes fairly self-supporting once she gets a staff of minor healing and some other characters (Valeros?) might have more trouble. (OTOH I feel Valeros is able to protect himself better, so Seoni may be the more vulnerable - she does tend to spend long periods of time with only one or two cards in deck...) And of course Harsk getting his Divine skill and some flavor of cure would also make a significant difference. (Until then, though, he's the most fragile of the three - and it might not make *that* much difference as he'll have trouble recharging it.) I also feel three (maybe four) characters is the level where lack of healing bites you the most - more characters means that each has fewer turns and is thus less likely to take enough damage to die, but fewer characters means you have enough time to save blessings for support instead of exploring. (Also, with fewer characters your support blessings more often need to be saved for closing locations and can't be thrown at combat.) Lack of healing is probably the biggest hole you can have in a party - I guess the only ones that might rival it are lack of strong fighters (but that probably means you have strong support characters) and lack of support (vice versa). Of course, most difficult party probably doesn't correspond to most interesting gameplay, and a party of, say, Lem, Sajan, Seelah, and Amiri might see you making more interesting choices than the one I named.
  17. Yup, just reproduced the first two (although I didn't spade out when the second was happening, just noticed that I sometimes got two explores in a turn). The third I think is just a consequence of the first, since it skips you straight to the explore phase of you fail the check. Similarly, it prevents you from giving items. I also had a couple times during the scenario that I failed the check and it skipped to the explore phase without giving me the explore option. Thus preventing me from exploring at all that turn (excepting with blessings/allies). ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Rimeskull, Heroic difficulty, Painful Memories Party of Lem and Valeros, always together in the same Stone Head Pass and play and permadeath both off
  18. As the title says. When Kyra recharges Blessing of Sarenrae in Shimmering Veils of Pride, it forces her to recharge another card. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Into the Runeforge, normal difficulty Pass and play and permadeath both off Party of Merisiel, Kyra, and Ezren
  19. Every time I fail to defeat Ordikon, his damage is impossible to reduce. 20. I'm guessing that in this case, the game saw that Amiri was done with her Warchanter check and it should return to combat - and just assumed it must be Harsk's combat since it was his turn. (And then, the VRT made it forget what monster was being fought - but it knew Harsk was fighting a monster, so it must be the one on top of his deck!) And then the rest is just the logical conclusion, given it knew that a temporary close check was in progress. Actually, come to think of it, I think the Warchanter ended up on top of the Farmhouse deck and Amiri fought it next turn. -but don't quote me on that.
  21. So the bad news is the villain was in fact banished. Never saw him again The good news is I was able to win the scenario anyway by closing all the locations.
  22. Okay, so this gets complicated, but. The first sign of trouble comes when Harsk encounters the Skinsaw Man (in Deeper Dungeons). For the cutscene, it shows Amiri encountering him instead of Harsk. I assumed that was intended because Amiri had more interesting dialogue with him. (On reflection, I think probably it was, and there just happened to be an issue immediately afterward. But I'm including it just in case I'm wrong.) Then we start closing locations. Amiri is at the Farmhouse, and for her random monster she summons a Goblin Warchanter. She attempts to play a weapon but fails the wisdom check. The fight with the Warchanter resumes... Except now it's Harsk fighting it. I try to put out a bow - failing the wisdom check for him too - but then I decide to make a VRT instead of resolving the fight. When I return, Harsk is now fighting the Skinsaw Man. There are chains over his weapons but it allows me to play them without a check. I defeat him and he disintegrates like a normal defeated monster. Then I'm popped back out to the temporary close dialog, and Deeper Dungeons is now temporarily closed. So with nothing else to do, I click "Finished closing". It returns me to Deeper Dungeons, with Harsk now fighting a Carrionstorm. The Skinsaw Man is nowhere to be seen. I'm going to play out the rest of the scenario just out of curiosity but I suspect it's now unwinnable. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Foul Misgivings, Legendary difficulty, Full Packs and Distractions Pass and play and permadeath both off
  23. I'm fairly sure that's the symbol that usually shows up on the location that you're moving from. So yes, that's probably what happened: the game got confused and thought Kyra was casting Teleport instead of Lem. ... Except that it still moved all the right people and had Lem recharge it. So it got confused only on the map screen?? Man I dunno.
  24. When Lem encounters Mokmurian, he responds to something Mokmurian says before he says it.
