  1. See here, Rom129DCS, I JUST now played a game and noticed that Harsk in the six player party has two Samisens. I don't even think I gave him two on purpose, altho sometimes I will eschew good kit to keep a theme or an idea. Game's forgivin nough to allow that even on legen waitforit dary. Seems that you've got a legitimate question. Don't know enough to give any guidance, but I appreciate that some folks are more savvy than me and can bring up probing questions.
  2. Things that it could be: Murder attempt (personal) Assassination attempt (political) ****z and giggles (insanity) To terrorize the population (terrorism) Would agree with Oerwinde that terrorism requires a larger goal, but disagree that it must be global. There are terrorists within countries, such as shining path. The aim can be regional or even local. It can be purely political or religious. No one sufficient way to characterize terrorism.
  3. That Pepe the frog thing is so much nonsense. Still don't entirely kith it. Parently some sort of hoax that a cartoon frog was a racist mascot. Never even caught wind of it before the Clinton campaign came out gainst it. Trump's advantage is people don't care bout his crazy stuff. Clinton out crazies Trump and she's jousting on his list field.
  4. Unbelievable. Simply cannot believe that I actually went to the Blizzard website and considered reactivating my old World of Warcraft account. Blame the lot of you. Didn't do it, though. Splendid game and gobs of fun, but just can't get sucked back into it. Idea of grinding out levels for raid worthy kit sends shivers down my spine. Need to find something interesting to play other than Mordheim for a while. Want to take a short break from the city of the damned.
  5. Don't see why it's odd for members of a high profile immigrant group in the United States to come out and deny association with a terror group after some of the members of their community have bene involved in terrorism. Makes sense, which is probably why they're doing it. Heard Americans, pon seeing other Americans act poorly, go out of their way to ask the people not to think all Americans act that way. Saw one American almost come to blows with another American for acting like "an ugly American abroad." If you're an American, or a Muslim, or a Christian, it makes sense to distance yourself from people who put a bad light on your country or religion and maybe try to get the people who put your lot in a bad light to desist from doing so.
  6. I'm too lazy to farm specific cards. If I did farm anything, it would be more dice. I like the dice and I'd like more.
  7. He called it a bomb. It was a bomb. See here, I don't care if you dislike him or not. That avenue of attack is starting to help hi with the American electorate. Personally, think he should have waited, but it's not like he said it was radical terrorism and was attacked. There were articles pointing out that he called it a bomb. You think that's fair game for an attack on a man who's defied tradition in withholding his tax information from the public? All good by me.
  8. So, Trump calls the New York bombing a bombing and the media goes after him. Don't doubt some of the crowd here will tut tut and talk bout how the man should've waited until the police determined it wasn't something else. Might be a man made disaster? Might be workplace violence. Might be that the man should've waited to call it was it was. Press still critical of Trump een after they discover the man's right because even being right he could have been wrong and should've waited for the authorities. Mark my words, the media as a group has so undermined the public's trust they'll be comin to Obsidian boards here for the straight skinny soon. Meshugger and Volourn will end up media moguls out of all this. too long did not read: Crusading gainst Trump is starting to hurt the media more than the man.
  9. Not much of a Stein fan. Think her ideas are crazy. Still, has a sufficient amount of support personally believe she should have a place on the stage also. Along with Johnson, course.
  10. Trump is the ultimate protest candidate. Most times, protest votes are against a party. Trump is a protest against the system from all sides. Surprised to see him winning, but not much. Online poll where some votes might well be to tweak the anti-Trump people in the forum. Know I'd take a dim view of people attacking me for my vote. Done so in the past when people get on me about my views. Had a friend one time ask me how I could vote the way I did since I was so smart. Told er that I weren't that smart... and neither were she. If looks could kill I'd be posting from Hell right now. Well, maybe heaven, I hope, but if I were in heaven I probably wouldn't take time with the lot of you.
  11. Made me chuckle. Government is a game of Rock Paper Scissors, in't?
  12. Don't know if Lightning Bolt is even unique and I only have it right now in one party. I forgot it was in the game until I recently decided to switch to my other party for a while. I even had my wand of ennervewhatzits somehow go missing. Might be that I was playing while fatigued or something, tho, so it could be my fault. I have samisen in three of my parties now, so I know you can get it multiple times just not with the same party as my Punic friend says.
  13. Anyone can look bad in a still photo taken unprepared. Always hate it personally when someone takes a photo of a politician with one eye closed and mouth gaping and pretends it means something. tother hand, if it were a video, let's say she's losing muscle tone and being carried into a van, that would be more compelling. Frankly, Trump probably has more energy because he's undead, but she does seem like a zombie to me. Maybe first election pitting vampires gainst the juju."
  14. Mate, many of Trump's proposals will meet with as much as more Republican opposition as Democrat. As Volourn said somewhere, the man's not a Republican, right wing, or conservative. At best he's a populist. At worst, and in reality, he's demagogue. The whole lot can talk about he's the second coming of Hitler, but the only real damage he could do would be in your supreme judges. Maybe he could start world war three, but Hillary Clinton doesn't inspire confidence in the war mongering arena. Motto for me would be make war better not harder, but I don't trust either one of them for that.
  15. Think that happened on the Lolita Express, din't? As to the explosion in New York, I'm sure it was just natural accident. Nothing to see here. Move along.
  16. Suspension of disbelief, mate. As a gamer, if you can't fill in some of the blanks and flesh out the story at least a little, it's on you. Tell me a game that gets it perfectly Anyway, chacun à son gout. I think that means you're the son of a goat or something.
  17. Ever wonder if you'd get on with The Donald okay one on one? Or HRC? Suspect that they're both much more personable, friendly, and entertaining in person than as candidates.
  18. Sod off, you bastard! Wait, melkathi? Could it be you trashing a masterpiece like New Vegas? Tell me it's not true! Oh well, then stay. Just hope you see the beauty of New Vegas before the end. Course, you had it right on Mordheim, so can't be too hard on you. Makes me want to restart a new game and try something different. Maybe a fast talking science guy for once. Seriously considering playing WoW again just to see how it's changed. bwahahaha Just loaded a battle in progress in Mordheim and one of the henchmen I'd been peppering with bolt, bullet, and arrow tried to climb and took himself out by falling.
  19. Best ribs I ever made were in a jerk sauce. Started out as a rub in which all the spices were roasted and ground. Stuff like nutmeg and cinnamon and allspice... you know, typical Jamaican fare. Decided to make a sauce out of it. Used two different kinds of peppers because the usual pepper is sometimes harder to find fresh and I can't get it to grow right in the garden. Can sub in Habenero, but it don't taste exactly the same to me. Might be mind trick since they're so similar. Marinated it intending to cook as the old lady and I were on holiday, but the place we were visiting didn't have the amenities I had wrongfully assumed them to have so had to wait until the next day. Marinating for too long can often be a crap shoot depending on the marinade and the meat. Learned that the hard way with pineapple. So, it's been marinating now for a couple days, see? Following day we're in a beautifully dusty and extremely hot area and after a little hike, we end up in an area with a grill. No smoking unless I rig something up with tin foil and the like, which wasn't going to happen. The place was like landing on the surface of the sun as it was and smoking takes time. Hours of it. So, got the charcoal hot and ready and pitched on a couple of potatoes for baking and the ribs. Cooked em for a little over an hour. Call it an hour and a half. The potatoes were done just the way the old lady likes em, scorched lightly on the skin and tender inside. The ribs rate as one of the best meals I've ever had. See here, if it had been pineapple marinade, they would have fallen apart on the grill if they weren't simply part of a marinade soup, but the pork can survive my Jamaican jerk seasoning better. Must warn you, tho, kept the seeds in the peppers and resulting sauce will take the roof off your mouth. You can send smoke signals out of your ears after one bite. Forgot the vegetable. Think it was asparagus. This is a splendid thread. Cooking is one of my guilty pleasures and I enjoy seeing what you lads do also. Want to try some of this Portuguese sauce BruceVC is on about, but better to taste it done right first and then experiment with it once you have a feel for the dish idea.
  20. My honest take is that the majority of the media, not all and perhaps not even by a huge margin but most at least, are nakedly anti-Trump. Certainly, the man has opened himself to attacks, but the idea that this is an important enough election that the press should not even try to cover it fairly is insane. That idea extrapolated is tremendously more dangerous to America than Trump is. Jimmy Fallon recently had Trump on his show and the bloke is castigated for not going after the nominee with hammer and tongs. Fallon is not a reporter. He's a late night show comedian. Social media is alight with statements to the effect that he humanized Hitler. Comparing Trump to Hitler isn't fair to Trump, to be sure, but people aren't fair. No big deal. However, making the serious comparison is not fair to the public. If Trump be Hitler, what will happen when a real Hitler appears? One with a gentler demeanor but a genuinely evil mind? Hitler himself could be soft spoken and he employed rational sounding people to further his goals. In the Universe of evil, Hitler was a supernova. Trump is a spec of dust.
  21. Weird. Thought I responded. Heard tell somewhere that Stein is going to be on the ballot in over 40 states. Don't know if that's true. Think Johnson will be on all of them. Same unverified source.
  22. Oh, I didn't know it was a free update. I think I've got at least one more play in me.
  23. even better, in a nation of 330 or so, it's always true. You could get many people to agree to nuke Mars. The Romaan diety or the planet.
  24. Restarted my merc group in Mordheim, City of the Damned. I messed up my skills for my main guy and rethought fireball. The idea is good, but I think lightning is more useful for direct damage. Curse of Rust will probably be a must later for heavily armoured mooks. Notice that I've got one crushing victory and I don't understand why. Seems that I've won a lot of battles with the optional victory conditions, so that doesn't mean a crushing victory. Does anyone know what the difference is? I like the impressive, but he's just not as versatile as the Sisters' one. Simply must take a break from this game for a while soon. It's getting to be the time sink I complained about WoW being.
