  1. Hmm, yeah, a beat-em-up with that controller *would* rock. Hmmmmm, a hockey game, hmmm.
  2. Other than that, I have now limited my gaming to Hearts of Iron II - Doomsday.
  3. Some companies don't understand the concept of optional difficulty levels.
  4. Someone smells legal around here, and it ain't Gabrielle!
  5. Highlights of the George Harrison interview in the same GI mag:
  6. If there was one character that should have died in vanilla, it was Alyx
  7. I was serious about the futures comment. Is it worse to be used by a game publisher, a merchant banker, or a stock broker ... hmmm ...? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fixed.
  8. I DON'T KNOW YOU ANYMORE!!!
  9. And then I ate her.
  10. I wanna join your campaign, Hades. Because you're awesome!!!
  11. Congratulations, Blank! I think you'll do very well as T3 ^_^
  12. "4-6 hrs" of babysitting Alyx <_< Kinda lame how they wanted to make the most boring character in HL2 become the most important NPC in this one just to please drooling fanboys. Yeah, I guess Aribeth was a deep character too.
  13. You need vegan bacon. Wouldn't want to discriminate against that group, or they'll litigate your buttocks.
  14. I might end up giving this the pass. I'm more interested in seeing how a FPS would play out on the Revolution right now.
  15. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 5 (PS3, Xbox 360, Rev, PC, PSP) - November 2006 Assassin (PS3, Xbox 360, Rev, PC, PSP) - March 2007 Rayman 4 (PS3, Xbox 360, Rev, PC, PS2, handheld) - November 2006 Brothers in Arms 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Revolution, DS ) - February 2007 Ninja Turtles (PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Revolution, PC, handheld) - Spring 2007
  16. I loved the force-jump + force-pull combo
  17. I can't name a single PS3 title that remotely interests me. I'm a bit sick of JRPGs. They tend to stick a bit too much to outdated conventions both in terms of gameplay and storytelling. That genre would have been the biggest incentive for a PS3. I'd rather watch anime. For the 360, there are some titles that I could see myself enjoying (it'd be mostly Obsidian and Bioware ones, I would wager), but none of them as of yet is a strong enough incentive to actually consider the console worth a purchase. Aside from bigger numbers in the specs, I can't really see how any of those two is in any significant way a generation above the PS2 and Xbox. Next-gen graphics mean squat if you don't have next-gen gameplay. Revolution has the potential to make consoles fun for me again. I'd say there's a good chance I end up getting it, barring a drought of games.
  18. Yeah, Sony isn't doing that nowadays.
  19. Meh, it goes both ways.
  20. 2006 is shaping up to be a great year.
  21. On the bright side, World of Warcraft is going strong!
  22. I don't know about you, but having a sword duel with a boss while shooting all his cronies with a gun using a second controller sounds like mighty fun. It's not just about being gimmicky, but the new controller scheme basically doubles its functionality by allowing both hands to handle different roles. Multitasking would be nowhere as easy with just a conventional controller.
