  1. Some games just work better for a controller. I own a controller for my sports games, and a joystick for any game that involves flying.
  2. I'm pretty sure the planet's name was Taris, and that it was Taris the planet they are talking about when they say Taris has been annihilated.
  3. I certainly wasn't taken out of the game by the music. I barely notice the music (which is the way it should be IMO). Increasing the quality of it would mean I would barely notice higher quality to music. I don't stop playing the game to go "ooooo, this is in English 7.1!"
  4. Hmmmm...except I got the impression that Taris was pretty annihilated.
  5. I just wanted to put some perspective on things.... But I'll make sure to not lapse down to "their" level again. Permission to smack me upside the head if I do.
  6. A variety of character models could help in making the world seem more alive and immersive.
  7. You can complete the fuel quest, but I think it is possible to break it so it can't be completed.
  8. How so? It's been a while since I have played it.
  9. My posts per day is misleading, as you'll find few posts from between March and July. It'll be hard to catch up with my current trend of 200 :flex:
  10. That would absolutely suck in a RPG. Maybe if it was a once-in-a-blue-moon chance, but not a regular occurance. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you could make it work. You'd just have to greatly limit the hit chance, and make it a game between offense and defense values.
  11. You've only been registered for a short time......so I still smash you to goo with my total post count
  12. Oooooo! I also liked Jedi Knight as well. Brings back memory of the good ol' days with the live action cutscenes :D
  13. The big thing about GoldenEye it would seem, is the accessibility it had. It pretty much single handedly brought the FPS to the mainstream in consoles (sure, Turok had existed before hand and was a fun game, but the party-factor of Goldeneye was exceptionally popular).
  14. I believe it was an expanded version of the same engine yes. I like the fact that it had coop mode....but alas by the time I had played it I had already played games like Half-Life and was pretty much done with my conversion back to PC Gamer. The split screen just didn't work for me anymore
  15. Nothing odd about it. It's not a content patch, and just changes some frivolous details to the game IMO.
  16. I never got to play PD, since it needed the memory pack.
  17. I enjoyed the pilot of Family Dad, but I find the idea is just the same. Random Episode with the funny being in the flashbacks.
  18. You should never have made the reference to any of those posts then, lest you get dragged into it. We were just having some fun related to the subject at hand. If you have an idea you'd like to see, just post it. The reason why there's 3 pages of "back patting" is because we were trying to decide what would be good in the game. Pretending to actually create the game is simply a means of actually expressing the things you'd like to see in the game, since you're going to put stuff into your game that you'd like to see. We were having a discussion and were comparing contrasting ideas, shaping our ever-evolving idea of what we would like to see in the game.
  19. I think he said it was free in the "Best FPS" thread.
  20. I am the lesser of two evils. EDIT: With a sw33t avatar!
  21. I think I really enjoy the show, because I get exactly what I expect out of it. I loved that one where they tried to teach Quagmire to control his "manly" desires.
  22. I no longer judge threads by forum titles very often...as most threads tend to (d)evolve into something else.
  23. My posts per day have gone from 4.2 to 5.9 in the span of 11 days
  24. I've always wondered about why a graphics manufacturer would make a chip so powerful as the console manufacturers claim to be, and yet NOT release it for PC, where people seem to be more than willing to shell out over $1000 on an SLI configuration.
