  1. Nu-uh dude! Priests are super un-cool! Probably my least favorite class in this game.
  2. The Tidefall greatsword is insane on an offensive barbarian. High INT and ring of Overseeing for bigger AoE. Dump resolve and use potions of spiritshield instead for concentration. You'd need high perception aswell depending on your setup especially early game, so dump some Con too I'd say.
  3. I started a duo run with PC barbarian and Pallegina on normal, I had to put it on hard eventually because it was too easy. (Tidefall and high INT offensively built barbarian was apparently really OP) If I was to play these on POTD with another follower I'd probably add a Cipher with Tall Grass
  4. Monk+Cipher+pally sounds interesting. How would you build ur cipher?
  5. If you'd be running a trio through potd. What classes/builds would you pick and why? Personally I'd try with: 1. Paladin tank for a good package. 2. Wizard for CC and AoE dps. 3. Rogue for good sustained ST dps.
  6. Thank you for all the replies. It is true that Pallagina with her wrath is awesomesauce. I just simply hate Godlikes cuz they can't wear helmets There doesnt seem to be many good helmets tho. Anyway, my question was answered, I'm happy! <3 Now I'm gonna Make a new thread! Yay!
  7. My question is, how big is the difference in conviction of faith between a PC pally and a hired one?
  8. No, this also happens in human form. Sometimes i am faster sometimes slower - and i dont know why. Very strange. It must be the drugs! LOL this is funny cuz it kept happening to Hiravanis in my grp too, super speed druid ftw!
  9. There is a cloak with 2/encounter invisibility or was that a typo? How do I get this cloak?
  10. I think I had this same issue once I got to WM. Rogue is my favourite class and stealth is very important to hide and position urself while the enemies pick other targets. I found the best solution for this was to stack speed on my Rogue, Äru Bekr or Boots of speed if u aren't using shod in faith, sugar and even the fast runner talent was worth it honestly. With enough speed u can stealth around to ur enemies backline quick enough to not get spotted on the way AND land backstabs if u use it.
  11. Godquest? What have I missed? Also, are you confirming that Dex is basically useless for a chanter, unless ur kiting?
  12. Yeah true, but cloak of cheat and Rimecutter would still be available on a solo playthrough. Worst Stronghold battles I've had was against Vithracks, didn't even know there could be Drakes lol.. If Paladins can solo tank everything, I guess also Fighters are just as good?
  13. I do not mean to discourage you in your endeavor, however here are my thoughts : don't Unless you cheese the hell out of the game (use figurines on all fights, keep camping every 2 encounters...), your solo rogue will have a very hard time with many fights, and some will even be off limits for you altogether (dragons, ogre druid bounty...) . Yeah I figured as much, but is that not the case for all classes when soloing? So far I'm having a blast with it, getting close to lvl 7. Got shod in faith boots and rotfinger gloves yesterday. Major upgrades and it made a big difference. When soloing, do I even bother with the stronghold? It's a shame passing on so many good possible items, such as Rimecutter, mold, cheat cloak etc etc. But say I did build the stronghold, how do I defend it when it gets attacked from below?
  14. To answer your cipher question I have tried a cipher solo on hard aswell up until lvl 9, it's very easy actually. Rogue is tougher for sure
  15. I play a solo Rogue right now on Hard, offensive built with dual wield speed weapons and 5% recovery armour. Works great so far. To create sneak attacks I use scrolls like Tanglefoot, once I get higher I can use scrolls of paralysis for tougher fights. Creating sneak attacks isn't really a problem if you use what is out there. Tall grass is one way if u want to play with a two hander.
  16. Sounds like fun! I've been thinking about a pale elf druid with wolf spiritshift and corrode dmg focused for that dark werewolf RP feeling. With talents and abilitys focused towards the spiritshift. The wolf spiritshift does look like the WM1 wolfcave werewolf, right?
  17. That's nuts! Nice job! No relentless storm? AoE permastun is the most OP spell in the game as far as ive seen
  18. Update. I've specced out of escape and weapon and shield style. Picked up two weapon style and blinding strike instead. Got me the Mach Steel Dagger and Daenirys Rapier, the attack speed with my Berathian robe is insane! Was thinking if interrupting blows might be worth it with my atk speed. Does anyone know how many % per swing it adds?
  19. I know "Hard" means "easy" to many of ya, I found it a bit easy too with a full grp. Hence why I started solo game. Furthest I've come in this game is lvl 10 with Russetwood done in WM, done what can be done in ACT2 I believe but I've never started ACT3. So for someone "fairly" knew to this game. What would your advice be for a solo Rogue game on Hard difficulty? What gear would u use? What talents would u pick? Why? Currently I'm lvl 5 Boreal dwarf Rogue with following attributes: Mig 16 Con 8 Dex 18 Per 10 INT 18 Res 8 Talents: Shadowing Beyond Weapon and shield style (might respec out of this) Abilitys: Escape Reckless assault. Currently wearing Berathian Priest Robe for minimum recovery vs DR. Any thoughts or advice is welcome!
  20. I don't understand how you guys do it.... I just now went to Maerwald on my solo Rogue lvl 4. Wearing Berathian priest robe and one handed stiletto for speed and accuracy. I was struggling I have to admit even with potions! First try Maerwald went down easy, only to realize I had a Pierce weapon in both weapon sets so I couldn't touch the blight. Second try my pathing was bad so the blight caught me with disengage just before Maerwald hobbled me. Third try Maerwald went raging on the beetles when I pressed shadowing beyond... LOL, so I was victorious because of LUCK! Anyway, challenges are fun but I'm definitely not ready for your naked run on POTD yet for sure, hell I haven't even finished the game yet even once! Edit: my Rogue is a dwarf.. I probably should have used moon godlike. But I really dislike the look of them
  21. In the screenshots I see only Deathblows, does this mean that sneak attack and deathblows don't stack?
  22. Potions, food buffs & scrolls are NOT allowed. Only basic things like lockpicks, hooks, rope - everything else would be too easy no? Too easy? Lol Anyway, fun stuff! Keep us informed!
  23. I doubt a naked druid can take on the Caed nua main hall, but then again, I didn't think a chanter could do it either! Are scrolls and food/potions allowed?
