the following message appears after changing the class : Changing 'Companion_Konstanten(Clone)' class from '*Missing string -1*" to 'barbarian' level 9. i wonder if thats related to me previously installing unity (although after that i think i manually uninstalled the unity archives). i hope that i will not have to re-install the game. has someone had a symilar problem ?

unfortunately the cheat do not seem to really change class , because once you go to the vendor to retrain , the class goes back to the original. in this case konstanten returns to chanter. dont know if using codes to add experience to companions could correct this. also, just to know, it would be great if the codes for multiclasses are listed here,

The thing that is lacking however. is the cheat regarding multiclasses for companions. It would be ideal if someone added it.

What is the code for adding (And removing) experience to specific companions using the console (not to the whole party) ? sorry for making additional mods regarding the cheat codes, but these are lacking in the pillars wiki. it would be great if these codes were already listed in the game menu from the game beginning. cheats are important not to ruin the game making it too easy, but for proper configuration of your character and the party.

dont know why so many disllike xoti (although its 50% for and against her, she divides opinions) . Xoti is a great contrast for pallegina and her story, personality and romances are great. although i dont think monk class has anything to do with her. a passionate person full of romances is probably not adequate for being a monk. if a POE3 is made. xoti needs to be on it. at least if you romanced her , its kinda obligatory for her to be on poe3. mirke was the one i chose for least liked because she has nothing to do with monk and just one relatively short quest.

For companion name just type "comp" and hit tab repeatedly until something like companion_clone(Pallegina) shows up. You can use tab to complete all parts of the command if you're not sure how the spelling is.

This is not a post mirror. im just adding here for other playes the cheats to change companion classes in order for it to be registered in the forum. Thanks to boerer for the help! EXAMPLES: comp classes setclasslevel companion<hit tab until Konstanten pops up> Barbarian 8 true player classes setclasslevel player<hit tab> paladin 8 true SetClasslevel <companion_name> <base_class_name> <level> true and then SetSubclass <companion_name> <base_class_name> <subclass_name> I think (?) you don't have to remove/add the lvl-0 abilites manually but maybe you have to. This is done with the AddAbility player<hit tab> <abilityname> and RemoveAbility commands.

Installed the unity console by unzipping it in the game folder. then copied the pillars of eternity 2 Data Folder and pillars of eternity 2 exe to the IPA folder. but during the game i cant acess the console via ctrl+F8 KEY , as nothing happens. a unity engine window opens when i start the game (but not through f8) , but i cant do the cheat i want (to change Konstanten class). this happen if i either go in the game through pillars of eternity 2 patch and lauch or pillars of eternity 2 regular exe. what should i do to correct this?

The Responses of most fans of the Pillars series will be positive. we are seeing just a vocal minority speaking against crowdfunding. for irrelevant reasons. but im sure most fans want pillars of eternity 3 even if through kickstarter.

Again, OBSIDIAN IS NOT THE SAME AS MICROSOFT. Treating Obsidian as the same as microsoft makes no sense. Obsidian may be sold or even end if microsoft want and the major microsoft Corporation will still exist with its billions. Kickstarter is to Help the Obsidian Crpg team , not Microsoft per se.

Just think that the Kickstarter is being used to help the original Obsidian creators of PIllars of eternity, not Microsoft . Obsidian still is Obsidian and Microsoft may even sell or close Obsidian. Kickstarter to avoid damages to CRPG creators is completely valid. Obsidian is not at all synonim with the literal Microsoft company.

As a fan of Pillars of Eternity i dont care about the ethical implications of "helping" microsoft to make the game via Kickstarter, as long as the game is done its unimportant how this will be achieved. I agree with Boeroer, the final result would be the same and this would garantee pillars of eternity 3 being made. its much better than to see microsoft abandoning the game. Someone needs to convince the Pillars of Eternity developers that this can be a solution. Even if its only partially funded by kickstarter.

Agree completely. and the engine of POE3 Obviously does not need to be the same as outer worlds, as different microsoft games have different engines. To me , the idea of Kickstarter for POE3 makes ABSOLUTE SENSE, since a major company is too money focused to do niche games, but CAN ACTUALLY ACCEPT games funded by fans, exactly because it reduces risks for their pockets. So, the Kickstarter idea is completely valid for poe3. specially considering that the team of poe2 still work at obsidian and could lead a Kickstarter project. Also, even if the kickstarter only Partially finance POE 3 , that increases the chances of the game being made. Its much better to have kickstarter measure with POE3 than to see the game being abandoned .

Since Pillars of Eternity is a series for a niche market. wouldnt it make sense for Pillars of Eternity games to be at least Partially backed by the fans via Kickstarter? i think that this would make Microsoft more confortable with doing more POE games.

Whats the manin difference between the dialogues of Philosopher Vs Mystic? i know that Philosopher has 14 unique dialogues, Mystic has 19 and Clergy has 11. dont know if clergy has any new interaction with pallegina though .
