  1. For those who are interested on increase the difficulty during Solo Mode. Here are small variants might keep you on the edge of your table trying to survive and earn reputation in Eora. I recommend only try this new mode after you played at least 1-2 times the solitaire mode (so you are familiar with the mechanics and rules of the game) I created these variants due to I noticed while I played couple of times in solo mode, achieve highest score was not hard, since the player can send all the army cards to attack even highest dungeon and there are no risk for been attacked later on. With this mode player may be attacked by monsters during the event die phase.   4. Hello developers, I hope I am in the correct topic about providing feedback. I had been playing PoE through Path of Damned and Iron Trial mode, playing on those mode is awesome!!! since each battle and decisions through combat matter because it means life or death, now let's talk the main reason for my reply. About the main reason for my feedback I found out, there is a priest spell that doesn't reflect area of effect and accuracy applying the intelligence attribute from the priest (I am using Durance), the interesting thing is that seems is not showing that info, because when I use that spell and I check the combat log and shows the current accuracy for my priest (Example: When I noticed about this situation in accuracy was showing 25 and my standard accuracy was 45 and when I use in the combat log show around an attack of 45) So, I am wondering if you guys can apply this change in the next updates for PoE. I was playing PoE today in Path of the Damned mode with Trial of Iron and I am in Defiance Bay in the Goose and Fox inn, I was doing the quest for trading illegal herbs, so the Doemenel gang entered and I chose to defend the Gareth (NPC), during the combat I use some AOE spells and Gareth got hit and Doemenel Wizard did the finishing blow but all the sudden all the NPC got mad with me and turn red. Since I am in Trial of iron mode I cannot load the game, but I was able to sneak out of the bar to avoid further conflict, now my question is if those NPC will turn green after some time or reset if I advance to another ACT through the game? Thanks in advance for any good reply about my current issue.
  6. I am pretty sure I can help you with your questions and concerns. For other users that are reading this.. you can read my reply since contains Beor questions and my answers so you don't have to scroll up and down. 1) Archers Longshot; can only be used if the Archers are not within a party, right? Yes, in order to use Longshot your archers need to have the soul gem and not be in the party. You know they will back up the party from far. Also, as there is no mention of returning the gem after using the ability, I assume it can be used once per turn from the moment of placing the gem? About your concern for using the ability, yes it can be only use once per turn. Also I attached this screenshot that mention about it. 2) Storeroom Suppose the following situation: There're resource tokens stored. During the Build & Hire step the active player uses all his resources, so there're none to be passed around. Do players still get a chance clockwise to use their resources from the Storeroom and play cards? Yes that player that controls storeroom can use that stored resource and play cards. Here is addition details from the last part of the rulebook for building section. 3) Allegiance Card - Mirranna Can double resource tokens be targeted by this ability? That is a good question. I would say that yes since you are paying a random card. Beside the double resources token are tricky, because you need to use both resources in order can be use. 4) Invocations Is it possbile to reroll the combat / ability die from encountered monsters too, or just ones own? E.g. Vithrack (D3) - "Reduce the adventuring player's Armor by the result of one die roll." Can the active player then decide in step 5 of combat to reroll said die? I would say that yes for both questions above, because if we apply the logic and experience from chanter in Pillars of Eternity video game, the chanter is a versatile fighter and using his phrases can do support actions for the party or affect the enemies by doing extra damage or applying negative effect on them. In the screenshot below, show re-roll any one combat/ ability die, which leave open to use it wisely on those situation you mention below. 5) Hero - Verzano Can you store and use a token on the same turn, effectively doubling it? Or does the act of storing already exhaust the ability until the next turn. If you check the screenshot I put above for the storeroom, this card works like the storeroom, which allow to use the token on the card, store one or exchange for another one. But you cannot store double resource token. Check the addition details below from Heroes' section in the rulebook: 6) Hero - Wula After placing the gem and looking at the first card, can this abillity be used again each turn from now on? Or just once? This hero is useful before you go for adventuring, since you may peek the top card for any dungeon. Like you first question on your post, abilities from army cards and buildings can be only use once per turn. What you can do is use her ability on other players turn to peek another top card from another dungeon deck. Just in case you are wondering the soul gem stay on her, you only remove the soul gems if the ability state to return soul gem (like cipher or Pallegina's abilities) I hope I was clear answering all your questions and long life in Eora
  7. I only know that classes doesn't matter in this card game because that will add more complex for people that don't know about D&D style games. I already tested my PoE card game with my wife and she understood very clear the rules when I put her on solo mode for 4 turns before we play against each other. She really enjoy this game due to is simple but at the same time contains lots of tactics and combos player can do during their turn which make a solid game and enjoyable game for anyone.   8. I can help you with your questions. 1- You can only recruit one hireling but Inn or Stronghold. If you have two Inn then you can recruit two in total. Check this out for Building and army cards rules: With the rule above let me give you a example: Scenario: Game for 3 players, on your city you have one Inn and Stronghold. On your turn you have 2 gold coins so you can hire two hirelings. (One by the Inn and one by Stronghold) Then on another player turn let's say that player didn't use a gold coin so he passed that gold coin to you to do your build/hire phase and you as lucky duck you can hire one hireling 2- That's a good question. That is a tough monster against troops and heroes, you don't need to kill your units that reach defense zero since it's a overpowering stench, you know it's awful smell from him due to had been eating bodies in the ground. 3- Yes you can convert resources even though you are not going to use it. (You need to be the active player in order to do this evil trick ) Example: You are the active player and currently you have 3 resource tokens (2 gold, 1 grunt) so you use the harbor to convert 2 gold tokens into 1 good token, in that way other players have least chances to play cards when you pass the remaining resources. Here are extra details about Harbor card from the rulebook.
  9. I just played again my solo mode and adding a small variant allow the player to have more chances for a better start. I added a small variant during the setup (same as Quick Start Game in the rulebook) dont worry that variant added is already in the link above. I beat my record I achieved 49 VP which means a Minor Victory.

I am agreed with Jexex23.. in my current game of Path of the Damned + Iron Trial I need to think twice the enchantments I do for the items since there are not save files to load As well, I was wondering why the enchantments cost money (from a reality point of view) Also, learning spells cost money, it will be better that the wizard require hours inside the game to learn the spells from other Grimoires, Example: 1st level spell need 2 hour to learn it, 2nd level spell need 3 hours, etc).
