  1. At the start of the game you're instructed to visit a shop and purchase anything you might need before looking for berries. When first visiting the shop at the start of the game there is a tutorial message explaining how shops work. The tutorial however doesn't give a general idea of what you should get, it doesn't seem to sell stuff that you don't already have (Maybe some classes are missing some things?) and everything is more expensive than the amount of money you start with. These issues make the tutorial feel really, really terrible. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
  2. Some tutorial dialog (eg: when first introduced to combat) doesn't get duplicated in to the Event Log, other tutorial information does correctly duplicate. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
  3. Please remove or add an option to remove the Vignette applied to the Event Log/Combat Log. It serves no purpose other than to make it harder to read the top and bottom line. At the very least remove the vignette from the bottom of the interface. Edit: Extending the request to include the Dialog Window, can be annoying if the Dialog Window height is reduced.
  4. Height of the Dialog Window can be adjusted, however, reducing the height of the dialog box often bugs out the display of text causing the text to appear out of view (hidden) with an inability to scroll it back in to view unless you increase the height of the dialog box. There is also no way to reset the height of a dialog box back to the default height, double clicking the top edge of it could be a means of resetting its height. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
  5. SMAA (Not to be confused with FXAA, MSAA, SSAA etc.) anti-aliasing would be very welcome. Currently we only have MSAA which can be very taxing on the computer hardware and doesn't work on every kind of effect. I hate FXAA and do not want to see it implemented in this game because it simply blurs the image which increases eye strain, makes everything appear slightly out of focus and doesn't succeed at all well at eliminating aliasing.
  6. The circles under characters that indicate which characters you have selected and which you have not selected, needs to be more distinctly different from each other. Currently the 2 shades of green are very similar looking. The shades of blue used in Colour Blind Mode look very different from each other which is great, but I prefer not using colour blind mode/green instead of blue. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
  7. Health bars above characters heads (Or whatever the coloured green/red dots are supposed to be, endurance?) overlap when fighting an enemy making it impossible to see a party members and the enemies simultaneously. What I mean is that one can appear on top of the other, completely obscuring the one underneath. This makes it a bit awkward to keep track of things during combat. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
  8. There is a loot location that contains a cloak of Fortitude in the second area (Requires a gem to reveal the location), Loot All results in it appearing on none of my characters and not in my inventory. The video demonstrates 2 interactions, one of them results in successful looting and the other demonstration results in the item disappearing from the universe. http://www.mediafire.com/download/nvawqln45ka29id/617ef335eab04192930ea9ab8c1bc3f9_7713517_CilantLs.savegame (save game) v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
  9. The start of every piece of verbal dialog with Calisca is missing. The first 4 or so words in any verbal dialog of hers (Starting area of the game and second area visited tested) will not be mentioned, she will immediatly start talking mid-sentance, sometimes you'll hear the sound of an end of a word when she starts talking. I could probably make a video of this, assuming Fraps doesn't cause the bug to not trigger. This affects ALL dialog with her as far as I can tell. Other NPC's seem to talk fine. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=533997316 (First 6 words aren't heard) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=533997372 (First 5 words aren't heard) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=533997400 (Everything this guys says is audible/fine/correct) This doesn't sound like the same issue as "Delay of Voice Overs, Music, and UI Windows" in the sticky topic, primarily because I am not virtualizing, emulating or playing the game over a network or anything like that. I am simply running it offline from my own PC. Single Player. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
  10. I would use the term Combat Cancel, as the ability to hinder an opponent can affect individual enemies OR be an Area of Effect effect.
  11. Try cat /media/name/PillarsOfEternity.tar.gz.* > /home/name/Documents/PoE/PillarsOfEternity.tar.gz
  12. You can change where My Documents is located by right-clicking it, selecting Properties, and then Location (tab). Move it to a different hard drive if you want your save games from most games stored elsewhere (Or set up symbolic links). I've done this so that I can't forget to backup my save games when reinstalling Windows, because they aren't on the same partition as Windows anymore! >: )
  13. In regards to sneaking, the issue is that if you have multiple characters selected and click the Sneak button it will toggle the effect for individual characters instead of the entire selected group simultaneously, so you have to click it multiple times for it to affect everyone you've selected instead of only having to click it once and that's kinda annoying.
  14. Thanks for the images Abradoks, they clearly demonstrate the vignette and dialog window issue. No worries Aarik D, I'll try to remember to separate issues I encounter in the future. There's no possible way that Vignette could be for style lol, it's not at all artsy in presentation ^_~ it just gets in the way. Also, while testing a report on the latest build to see if it's fixed is welcome, it'd be good to hear that you tested it in the current public build if you can't reproduce it in the developer build because it would assure us that you know what we're trying to explain to you and that there was no miscommunication between us. More tedious work for you for sure, but you get where I'm coming from right?
  15. Try disabling Adaptive Vsync in Nvidia Control Panel (Or AMD equivalent setting).
  16. Just to keep things in the one place, a video of the 2nd problem is available here. It demonstrates a way to get the cloak as well as a way for the cloak to "disappear":
  17. You already found the location telling you if its installed or not. Try verifying the integrity of your game cache.
  18. I also reported this here: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/82675-various-gameplay-technical-issues/ What's your soundcard? Mine is Integrated in the ASUS P6T motherboard with the latest drivers.
  19. The motion of the dust when sucked by a vacuum can cause the dust to rub together and create a static discharge, it's unlikely to happen but definitely possible. That's what Sarex was trying to imply.
  20. Sure, I've attached it. I assume it might be an issue with the game not properly recognizing when a characters inventory is full while looting and then trying to add the item to the characters full inventory... output_log.txt
  21. I have verified the integrity of my game cache and it reports every file is 100% fine, the game is the latest version on Steam. Here is a video demonstrating the issue: https://youtu.be/onE4wsah2z8 In the video I discovered that you can indeed loot it correctly if you first select the second character before clicking Loot All, if you don't do this before clicking Loot All the cloak will disappear. The video demonstrates both outcomes. Edit: Improved video clarity, new link provided.
  22. I would recommend you upgrade your motherboard BIOS, your SSD drivers and your SSD firmware.
  23. From what I've read AMD has a 100% hardware solution, the schedular and processing is all done in hardware. Nvidia however has a hybrid system where the schedular is done in software and the processing is done in hardware.
