  1. Really? I always found the system fairly easy to work with.
  2. From the topic: It looks like they were taken down.
  3. Wow, you must have really been looking for faults - as I never noticed, or particularly cared, if the maps were all the same geometric shape. Obsidian bought the licence, or was given it by LucasArts, from BioWare - but that is about all the companies did together, neither game was a joint project.
  4. I agree - any dissension about the data rights scam is likely to be edited, removed, or locked.
  5. It grows on you, I also thought it was a bit annoying at first but grew to like it.
  6. I am not sure about the fist two, but I do know that apostasy is often sighted as the one 'unforgivable sin" by Christian religions.
  7. Is anyone really that surprised at this news?
  8. Consign to Oblivion - Epica
  9. Yes, although I've only been able to make it happen once.
  10. Yes, although you can do the same thing in the vanilla game - just get powerful mutants to chase you into one of the camps, you can effectively take it out without firing a shot.
  11. I never said I supported people pirating the game, did I? I simply expressed joy upon learning that the copy protection scam had been bypassed at an extremely early date - something that, hopefully, will help show how idiotic the entire premise was and is. But cracking the game does not equal stealing it - and that is what I was celebrating. Edit: For the record, I, or a friend, have cracked -or otherwise disabled the CD/DVD-check- about half, if not more, of the games I own so I/we do not have to constantly switch discs (yes, these are all legal copies). Cracking a game does not mean you are going to make it into warez, even if some do end up in that state.
  12. Not at all, unless we are talking about some type of uber-mutant zombie.
  13. i didnt know a sequel. I do know that they are in the works of a special edition of the game with extra content and stuff tweaked. It looks like it might be rated AO. Yeah, I might buy that, depending on what was added and if they release a patch for the original game, but I am almost certain that I saw some information about a sequel as well.
  14. I've listened to my Nano for very extended periods of time without charging without any problems, eight hours seems like a conservative estimate to me.
  15. Exactly. Hopefully they will see how crappy the system really is and abandon it.
  16. Highway to Hell - Electric Hellfire Club
  17. The "Hunting Rifle" armed with darts/slugs can provide a one-hit kill if used properly, even in the last levels.
  18. If you're buying or building a new system, otherwise I would tend to agree with you.
  19. Hum.... The question is, should I buy a copy and not install it so I can use the pirated copy legally. I'll probably wait and see if BioWare releases a DRM-light version, although that will mean no Mass Effect until then.
  20. That is not a browser setting, that is a actual file that can get overly-full on occasion.
  21. I believe a sequel is already being produced, although I might be mistaken.
  22. Have you emptied your temporary Internet files recently? If not, try doing that.
  23. I'm going to give Oblivion Lost a go, so I'll post my experience after I figure everything out.
