  1. Yoda did nothing. He only moved stupid bricks in Dooku's cave and later Luke's xwing. Compare that to Exar Kun or Nomi Sunrider.... bah
  2. Where were all those strong females in KOTOR when we needed them. It gotta be Gaider who cut them! And Yoshimo isn't as important as Bastila. He has importance of Zaalbar actually
  3. Fethick was naive good fella. And volourn I can't agree with you, both Fenthick and Yoshimo weren't characters of big importance; Bastila was much more crucial character to the entire storyline. Their betrayal was either calculated or unaware. Bastila's spontanic betrayal was projected to show that females are unstable and ever-changing, and thus should not be trusted. "Girlie turn her back on you, so spank her Revan. You're soooooo powerful"
  4. It's funny how you are desperately trying to piss me off with your weird insults. Try more dear boy. As for now, you've made a total lamo of yourself - first becouse of that nonchristian-catholic nonsense, second when you were trying to cover that obvious mistake with cheap rudeness. Congratulations! I have much fun becouse of you, my frustrated troll!
  5. Rupert Murdoch is nothing less than Goebbels of the modern anglosaxon democracy.
  6. Insert lightsaber option.
  7. Biggest nonsense you've ever written. I can never get enough of me making a fool of myself, cause I am an assclown. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now it makes sense [You don't have to thank me for fixing your ill-logic BTW]
  8. Biggest nonsense you've ever written.
  9. Juhani is for weirdos (no offense Baley)
  10. You all seem to forget about one basic thing: both in NWN and in KOTOR female heroines are unveiled as unstable traitors, and in both cases David Gaider had big influence on the storyline. We may analyze Bastila's case endlessly but we won't change the facts: she was posed as a corrupted heroine who is very feminine - her story looks like taken from medieval anti-women tales produced by the church. I wonder: who let this blasphemy to happen in the age of liberal democracy and suffrage? Biowhore should be punished by court for that.
  11. Loser called Coleman Trebor who died on Geonosis when trying to get Dooku (Jango finished him)
  12. My favourite are republic starships shown in Dark Lords of the Sith near the planet Deneba. They have very star wars style but they differs from other known designs. KOTOR starships are lame clones of GL movies' designs.
  13. Why must you always act like such rude jerk? If you can't discuss, just be silent please.
  14. Star Wars Saga Villain: Palpatine, most vile character ever, so powerful that he blinded all jedi with dark side cloud, Anakin: powerful but brash jedi who desires power Hero: Perfect; Obi-Wan, Jedi Warrior with no flaws, etc the same Luke, Yoda and Mace no flaws at all. Plot: horrible! Palpatine is using deception to dominate the galaxy. In short no plot at all... Verdict: Lucas movies are trash All heroic stories all about the same and use same stereotypes Radnor. You are unable to prove that TOTJ is worse than prequels or batman or lord of the rings. Surely you are intelligent enough to notice that. TOTJ are decent stories from the mid 1990s - surely better than spiderman babble, and you seem to forget that this "trash" opened completely new era in SW and added really epic info like Great Hyperspace War, Jedi Holocaust, explanation about ANH Yavin temples (masassi were barely mentioned in ANH novelization), who the first Sith were and how Jedi from Old Republic actually looked. Before 1999 the only Jedi known to us was Luke, and introduction of Nomi, Ulic, Master Arca was a great idea that let us see those legendary Jedi knights Obi-wan mentioned in epIV. Today when comic art is better developed than in 1993, when we saw those hundreds of Jedi knights in Prequels, when we played KOTOR - Tales of the Jedi looks lame, I agree. But still the series was groundbreaking and without all that background TOTJ brought, we would never have KOTOR. Just becouse there wouldn't be entire setting to use and Mike Gallo is a big TOTJ fan and he always wanted to make a game set in TOTJ era. So TOTJ inspired him to make an RPG. We can speculate that RPH would have been even without TOTJ but that's a speculation only; the reality is that TOTJ inspired first star wars RPG and accept it. Considering various limits in comic creation I think that TOTJ did a great job in showing ancient galaxy - you still have lightsabers, blasters, starships but everything is archaic and gives a mood of ancient times. No like KOTOR that looks like 50 years before Phantom Menace. I understand that art from Dark Lords of the Sith or Sith War looks ugly when compared to the newest Republic/Clone Wars but c'mon - in 1990s it was standard, decent looking art. Art from comics like Mara Jade, Dark empire, Xwing Series, Droids, Crimson Empire that were published at the same time as Tales of the Jedi look similar - sometimes is better, sometimes worse. You seem to forget what were the art realities of the 1990s. Kevin Anderson didn't have 200 artists like GL has during prequels, to create his own detailed world. He had one artist who did a standard 1990s Dark Horse job. TOTJ was as great adventure to me as Original Trilogy and offered similar plot with similar depth. Instead of parasiting on Lucas movies (liek Stackpole did in his xwing series ) it opened new setting that precedes movies times. It gave us a gaze into a golden age of the Republic Obi-Wan spoke off, when Jedi were numerous and Senate wasn't corrupted. Before KOTOR and prequels, it was really great to read about real Jedi knights mentioned in ANH, not an adept like Luke who is their successor.
  15. Bastila Shan clone.
  16. Of course we should. The problem is that this guy attacked me first so he got an answer.
  17. General Discussion is a place for discussing anything concerning Star Wars - after last forum reforms that terminated Storyline Section. Spoilers Section are exclusively for KOTOR 2. So there's nothing wrong in posting here about things like this. KOTOR was great in terms of climate only. Storyline was cheesy and only children like you are baffled by it. It's flaws were discussed over and over here, but as a newbie you missed it. And, a little more respect for board veteran please.
  18. So who remembers Riddle of Master Lu...
  19. Just another proof of Bioware's unoriginality.
  20. Here's a shot from cult cartoon of the 1960s - The Herculoids. My dad used to watch Herculoids as a teenager! You can see our lame villain's name on the title screen of one of the episodes. Yes. Indeed Bioware made a really good and original job in KOTOR 1...
  21. It's some stinkin' troll who doesn't know what he's talking about. You may proceed with your vengeance Lord Satasn.
  22. Bah. What greater fun could possibly be, than put poison to a food of a victim, as a professional Malkite Assassin? Simple bobafett shooting is as boooring as lightsaber waving. I'd like to have my own malkite poisoner kit with dozens of various toxins. No Jedi could stand against this. Subtle methods
  23. Agreed!
