    Game breaking crash on Onderon

    From an fellow by the name of kepakiano (all credit goes to him):

    i have a solution to a bug on knights of the old republic II. several users have complained that their game crashed, after they left onderon starport. i just had the same problem running the game on winXP, i left the starport and the game crashed, time after time. so i booted linux (kubuntu 7.10) and started the game using wine (version 0.9.59). i left the starport and the game did in fact not crash.
    Please let me know if this works for you guys. I'll be sure to let kepakiano know too!

    Still I wonder about customability? Can I customize my place with a certain look? Can I rig it for a diversion or escape like Agents in movies often do? Basically will it be upgradeable? Or will it simply be a home store with a tv?

     

    I think Michael Thorton will not have time to stick around one place for too long... nor watch TV. :rolleyes:

     

    Or maybe that's all he does?

    We all know you just happened to misspell Thornton in the press release (probably Alvin's fault). Just admit it and get it over with.

     

    Or.. provide us with an optional unlikely story for the name!

     

    "The name's Thorton. Mike Thorton." And no, it's not my fault. ;)

     

    I actually like the name Mike Thorton. It moves us away from all the JB's, which i mean, come on. EVERY spy is named some JB? Annoying...
