It doesn't make sense that Trials is not on those special editions. I have my copy burned on a CD so I don't have to download it again.

You could but it would be pointless since you already have some great npcs in the game.

I have no intention of starting a huge discussion about the issue, so let me just remark that personally I prefer the IWD series to the BG series. I greatly prefer the overall feel/atmosphere and the graphical style in IWD and actually think that IWD1 has the better story compared to BG1, but, like I said, that's just my personal preference. I like both equally. IWD has a great soundtrack that fits the mood of the game perfectly. I can make whatever party combination I want and go out and kill things.

Fed Ex quests don't bother me. Maze like maps suck. Forced parties is lame. The Kotor series and NWN2 have this stupidity and it needs to end. I choose who is in my group. Why the hell would I want someone in my party I dispise (Bishop) or someone who is hunting me and trying to kill me (GOTO)? Where the hell is the logic in that? Plus you can't kill them or force attack them.They should not be part of the plot to further along the story to begin with.

Of course they are short. Less places to explore, less side quests to do compared to older games. R00fles!

I use the katana during that also. It doesn't make sense to use a ranged weapon in close quarter fighting. Unless it was the pump shotgun, which would blast them back from you.

They aren't. A lot of games are made for short attention span players.
