Military Thread: Humanity Hanging from a Cross of Iron

I dunno, I'm highly doubtful that any use of nukes isn't going to devolve into all out nuclear warfare. I have a hard time seeing either Russia or China caring where we nuked them from and there is only one response for that. Rational is going to go out of the window pretty quick. -
Yep. I have 2 events that are bugged in every game I have. Nothing seems to be time sensitive though as the icons don't seem to actually do anything. Also some of the item projects seem to be bugged as well as I'm always stuck with a few that I can't even start. Sosiel's quest is also bugged as is he in the city. Sometimes I can target the enemy units by clicking on them even though it doesn't register in the UI that I have them targeted it will usually still attack them. Not always though. I've been getting a bug with roving armies but as soon as the battle map loads it kicks me back out to world map and then says the enemy army has reached me and attacks then does it all over again. I can only get out of it by killing the game. So many bugs

Pressure cooker? I've been meaning to try it.

Did they make radar more useful? I'm remembering everything just spawning next to me and most combat taking place at knife fighting range and most maps essentially being corridors. I did drop it fairly early because of those reasons so maybe it opens up more later. -

It's not common that I can remember but I've taken some extended breaks in my fandom. I didn't get to watch the Nuggets game but I saw the highlights on the web after. -

I can watch the games if they are on TNT but most of the time they are on Altitude (which is owned by the same people that own the team) in the Denver market. Problem is that Altitude isn't on any of streaming services, even with the live TV option, and I've heard it's not even available on some major cable services either for whatever reason. There's ways around it but often times I don't feel like it's worth the hassle -

I just wish I could watch more Nuggets games but only a few of them are on TV here. -
I haven't driven in enough of Europe to make a fair comparison.

Finished Lucifer and can't wait for the final season. We started watching some F1 doc on Netflix and I don't even like motorsports but I'm invested at this point.

I only know Breen because of Best of the Worst but he seems like the best kind of crazy.

I'll try very hard to never go back to the theater but the most restrictive part of the lockdown was like heaven to me. I think it's safe to say that I'm not representing most people.

I went to the Buddhist service that first week but stayed in the squad bay for every week after that. I must have been a bad example because each week more people stayed behind when they saw that I was still alive and well. I want to say it was after my first deployment but there was a senior enlisted guy at Camp Lejeune that got deep into some weird fundamentalist stuff. He ended up recruiting his junior Marines and had them try to recruit their friends and families into his church. They'd all line up on street corners and medians waving signs and chanting Westboro Baptist level stuff. Eventually, I think, someone came down on that guy for abusing his influence on his subordinates and having them recruit and organize their church stuff at work. I don't know how it ended because there were still dudes chanting with signs when I got out of there but it wasn't as many as before. I'm not doing how creepy the whole thing was any justice

Plot twist, they were old the whole time.

I never saw anything much different than the same casual stuff you'd see outside the military except that people would lean into it a little more for laughs. Anything truly hateful was most likely reserved for a more receptive audience. There were always stories of hate groups and whatnot getting exposed and expelled but it was always something that you heard about in a safety brief. The most extremism that I saw out in the open in my 5 years was of the Christian variety.

I think it'd be super confusing to refer to a third person as you/your and I isn't gendered

SR4 was one of the funnest and funniest games I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I don't even like those kinds of games but SR4 was transcendent.

We started watching season 3 of Master of None but it was so depressing we turned it off and put on DS9 instead. I don't think we'll be going back to it.
