  10. That is where I disagree, I think you started the war....back in the 70s you've put your bases next to their holy sights, it is you who have put Shah back in power in Iran which caused suffering and death, it is you that have aided Saddam in developing WMD weapons when he was your allie against Iran, it is you that have aided and supported violent expansion of Israel against Arab states with your hypocritical double standards, it is you who support dictators in the ME who serve your economic and strategic interests....it comes all down to that - money and politics which has been your priority for so long executed on the shoulders of foreign ppl resulting in deaths of millions worldwide. One day, one day the US is going to pay for that crimes big time. And plus I really laugh my pants out for how long are you going to wave the WW2 thing, 60 years has passed and in that time you my friend are certainly not liberators but oppressors, and those oppressors who think that are liberators are far worse then those oppressors that do so intentionally. Aditionally I love it when you Yanks say we wage wars so you Europeans can be safe - utter bullsh*t. It is the west and Russia who armed Saddam, it is you who are responsable to a great extant fot the Iranian revolution, it is you (CIA) who trained ppl that are today Al Qaida - conclusion: Collect your own sh*t, leave Europe out of it and suffer the consequences of your actions, not ours (European) or anybodies else. In this last five years Pakistan is your main allie in the war on terror, without them ( Musharaf ) you wouldn't have damaged Al Qaida that much at all. Yes it has coloured my opinion and it has been coloured for a reason. I'm glad you understand latin so you can read my sig.

  14. Cut the spam.... alarming update
  15. It's no secret the west aided Israel in their development of nuclear weapons, although they strongly deny it. Iran should get nuclear weapons since the Israely have them in order to create a nuclear balance in the ME. Israel was provocative in this case time after time, buying bunker buster bombs from the US enhancing strike capabilities, and then statements like: Also Israel's Samson option is quite well known to the world ( you know the Biblic Samson, who brought down a temple that killed himself and his enemies). It was Israel's view that once they have the bomb they could bring it all down on everyone if they ever feel cornered. Israel used its nuclear weapons for political means and black mails time after time, like when they forced Kissinger and Nixon to airlift supplies during the Yom Kippur War, and they passed US secrets collected by that guy Jonathan Pollard to the USSR when it served their interests. The Israeli nuclear bomb has been a hidden factor in not just US-Israeli relations ever since the Eisenhower administration, but their relations with the entire inernational community. Israel say that it uses its nuclear missiles, modified German submarines with nuclear missiles and aircraft capable of carrying nukes to deter both conventional and unconventional attacks, or to launch the Samson Option. Talk all you want, despite Israel's insistence that they will not be the first to introduce nuclear weapons into the ME, these systems do represent a serious preemptive strike force. As long as many ME peace activists are reluctant to discuss, let alone challenge, the Israeli monopoly on nuclear weapons in the region, often leading to incomplete and uninformed analyses and flawed action strategies in persuing a peaceful solution. Placing the issue of Israeli weapons of mass destruction directly and honestly on the table and action agenda would really pave the way for peace in the ME, not bombing Iran. But as along there is grotesque double standard by the US and Europe on the one hand condemning Iran or Syria for developing weapons of mass destruction, while simultaneously protecting and enabling Israeli WMD and conventional arms program. A nuclear free Israel would make a nuclear free ME and it would make regional peace agreement much more likely. Unless and until the world community confronts Israel over its covert nuclear program it is unlikely that there will be any meaningful resolution of the Israeli - Arab conflict, a fact that Israel may be counting on as the Sharon era dawns. In short as long as Israel is America's bitch in handling the situation in the ME with its double standards and as long as Israel continues its ever long persuit for better and advance conventional and WMD weapons, while on the other hand the US condeming Israeli adversaries of doing the same - Iran has every right to arm itself with same weapons as Israel and I hope they make the A-bomb so they can defend their country accordingly against the Zionist regime in Tel Aviv.
  16. So Surre it's City Road then..... I feel obliged to inform you that sick and disturbed fellow Hildegard is pretty good with the HK-MSG-90A1 for a civ..... "
  17. There is a big number of ppl in Iran who mostly despise the current theocratic system of government, but all of Iranians don't, otherwise 17.2 million wouldn't have voted for Ahmadinejad in the second round of the presidential elections.....the only thing that was wrong about those elections were several candidates of the reformists who didn't get a chance to run for the elections due to pressure from the SL. But that isn't so significant since the reformists had there two main candidates in the elections, Mehdi Karroubi and Mostafa Moeen - and they both lost, end of story. Yes the Iranian goverment had been repressing those who utterly oppossed their regime and the Theocracy in general. But that repression isn't anything compared to the dictatorship and tyranny by Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, a US backed dictator, but then again you have a tendency of supporting dictators who support your economic and strategic interests....anyways he was returned to power in Iran after he had fled the country in 1953. This was achieved by overthrowing the democratically elected government of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh with the aid of a CIA covert operation, codenamed Operation Ajax - and this is no opinion or story telling, it's facts and I dare you to prove me wrong. The elections weren't rigged at all, the main opposition candidate who lost in the second round didn't say so and the international observers didn't say the results were fixed because they weren't and if everybody was so repressed then the voter turn out wouldn't have been 62.66% which is quite high, the Iranian ppl clearly outlined whom they wish for president. Now I'm not saying Iran is a 'pure' democracy because it's not and I don't agree with their regime, all I'm saying that all the Iranian ppl aren't so opressed and those who dislike and hate the current regime are in fact a minority - but admit quite a large one.... The main instigator that the elections were fixed was of course the White House and right wing media in US, wonder why......Bush said: "Iran is ruled by men who suppress liberty at home and spread terror across the world" - well Mr.Bush change the word Iran with USA in that sentence and you'll have a great title for your autobiography - I'm sure it will be a bestseller. Bingo...the current regime is more afraid of women wearing mini skirts and heavy make-up walking around Teheran then the US military.....that's excatly why if you invade or attack Iran, the grip of the current regime will just grow indefinitely upon the Iranian ppl decreasing chances for the success of the reformists. Nobody is going to flame you for that because your concern is understandable although I do not share it in any way. I do not think he's a psycho, I salute him for having the guts to say what he did publicly although I strongly disagree with him regarding the statement that Holocaust never happened, because many of the Arab think the same but they are afraid of repercussions if they say it out loud - Iran isn't. If you want to turn a blind eye on the atrocities of your goverment commited by reinstating Shah to power and therefor aquiring safe flow of oil on the expense of lives of innocent Iranian ppl that's fine with me. Based on those events every Iranian has a right to be anti-Western, but hey Mothie if you have some fairy tale version of events in Iran from 1953 to 1979 do share it with us - I need a good laugh.
  18. You can always do what Ceausescu did in Romania during the cold war, ban all medical services to ppl that are over 60 years of age.... " [/black humor]
  19. He lost in an election that weren't framed at all. The SL can voice his opinion to the voters which candidate he thinks is better for the job, but he can't make ppl vote who he prefers, the guy lost - end of story. No that doesn't mean Iraq was a democracy because the elections were fixed, there is no way anybody in any country would get 99.7% of votes. Sorry to break it to you, but no president in a democracy has ultimate authority...but I understand what you mean, the position of the SL should be elected by the ppl as well. That is where I agree with you....for the third time my original statement was that: Iran isn't a dictatorship like Saddam was and yes Iran isn't a full democracy as I already said, the SL has the most power and the president has also executive power, that is my view. Actually Volourn we derailed the thread..... Back on topic: UPDATE
  20. Listen....I'm not gonna argue with you or anybody else that Iran is a perfect democracy because it's not, I never said it or meant it. I was emphasising that there is no dictatorship in Iran by the Supreme Leader or anyone else and that the Iranian leadership is far from that of Saddam Hussein. "All the funny charts asdide, we all know wheere the real power in Iran resides" The real power in Iran is in the figure of the Supreme Leader and the President.....and why are does charts so 'funny', and who are you to dispute all the agencies that say the president holds executive power are wrong....to say it's not like this it's like that. You back your claims only on your point of view, which quite frankly, doesn't carry any weight for you to dispute and redefine the political structure of a sovereign state.
  21. link link The president and the supreme leader both have executive power. I'm not arguing that the supreme leader has the most power in Iran, because he has, my original statement said that he doesn't have such power so you could tag him as a dictator.....and note in the pic, the president does also have executive power and it's not irrelevant at all.. You should put emphasis on relatively, and second I don't quite agree with that statement..... political allegiance of the Iranian youth isn't that anti-US as of the eldars, but it sure as hell isn't pro-US either. Plus you don't have to be an expert to figure out what the sentiment of the Iranian youth is going to be after a possible US attack on Iranian nuclear sites.
