  1. I doubt that SWG is a popular game at this point...
  2. there never was a jedi acedemy 2, it was outcast and yes that was dodgy but you got to play as kyle katarn to it was a set storyline , unlike in ja where you chose a custom player and they just randomly chose a dorky name like 'jaden'
  3. For movies, I like Ep IV for some reason, it has a good plot to it and all, great start off for the movie, and its the beginning at times before the major war starts between the rebels and empire, its just nice to see what it is like before that on tatooine and how the rebels are organised. I also like ep VI because its the end, and all the battles and the ending of it is great. I because it was the beginning and similar to KotOR1 all the jedi at that point where flourishing, and everything in the galaxy was working good, there wasnt any 'confederacy' and the evil aspect (despite the trade federation)
  4. EH never seems to take a hit, and when it does, never goes down
  5. When you stand on the docking port at Izis and look to the horizon the colour of the sky and land is very similar to the Australian bush <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I live in Aust. and i reckon it looks a bit like it, but more of a mediterranean sort of place, greece, them places. But then Australia isnt as green as Iziz is, Australia is more red dirt plains, and shrubs (not all though) Damn, its not letting me insert some screenies of onderon i have
  6. Join the qeue... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I want to flame your mum <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats the worst "Your Mum" joke that I have heard in a long time. Probabalyl Bith, they look like goons and Bith is just such an odd name, and so much can be associated, liek already mentioned - biff, bee-atch, and pith ect.
  7. If you want the handmaiden to become a jedi, talk to her and get influence from her, not Visas cos she and kreia end up ganging up against you if you choose to Visas it up.
  8. Dantooine not first, unless your allignment stays that way perfectly cos Kreia is always hunting you down and shes like "Hey you n00b, your crystal isnt in touch with your force, n00b" and that jorran guy is a jerk i always like to kill him, one he asked if the lagreiks where still there and I said "[lie]no" and then he came out, later being attacked by 3 or so lagreiks LOL. but what is annoying is the "Hey have you got some lewt? I want some bee-atch" and hes just like "err no" *loot falls from pocket, PILES of the stuff and then he bolts*
  9. Im sure every capital ship would have those features
  10. KotOR1 won a few right? I cant see or remeber any "GAME OF THE YEAR OMFG BUY IT" things on the box
  11. Another K3 thread?
  12. Are you serious ? First of all,I said maybe 5% of the game was cut.Kotor 2 had the same amount of bugs that they were in the first game and in all my playthrough I only encountered one or two minor bugs.Secondly,It's the publisher Lucasarts who rushed the game. Finally, the only good they were in San Andreas was that when I play it...it remembered me how KOTOR 2 was superior to this game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 5%, gee you must have no sence of cut endings or a cut storyline what-so-ever, for Malachor was cut (parts in it) the ending was cut, party members stories and stuff where cut, oh, the grand list goes on I would say about 1/3 was cut EDIT: Oh and the GTA series should have been over after Vice City, they all follow the same storyline of some corrupted nin-com-poop who just goes around following gangs ect. First its the perspective of an Italian-American, now its Africa-American the only minor difference between these games is, they have a few things added in, different time period, different characters ect. KotOR could keep a straight story, with twists and had meaning to it
  13. I would say that Kreia is neutral, but not in the force perspective. Shes been on both Light and Dark paths, and her main ambition is to destroy the force, and to prove both sides wrong, thats why she doesnt seem to be on any particular side
  14. Just like those budget movies you see on TV from the '80s
  15. Would not mind seeing a broader introduction of Coruscant in K3. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you tried reading the books? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you tried viewing the movies? jokes ding ding ding, 10 points probabally the best planets when it comes to peace, and eye candy (the backgrounds, music, scenery) dantooine moreso Wow thats a massive post! What I would like to do is, not just be restricted to one part of a planet, like on Anchorhead in Tatooine, I would like to explore Mos Eisley, Mos Espa, and many other places not just one location of the whole planet. Sort of like how Telos was set up, you basically traveled the whole planet, but still very restricted and no populace at some areas (cities) and you had to do it in chronological order, you couldnt just explore or whatever without having to do the set tasks.
  16. Although not in chronological order I would say that your right, kotor might be similar to ESB, or as I was going to say the Mandalorian Wars period, for the ending, being when Revan and Malak joined the Darkside is similar to the dark events which occur, all the betrayal and dark revelation at the end of ESB
  17. original trilogy was great, pure genius in the storyline and even now although it doesnt match the big shot graphics and SF, its still great the whole plot of good and evil, which kotor also protrays and displays, but in game format and a better time period IMO i prefer the whole thing of sith(loser empire, them wanabe jerks ) vs the republic and jedi
  18. That happened in the 60's my friend, when the yanks traveled to the moon And yet you said "The games simply sucked!!!" Confused are you? Doom the movie was not very good, I agree. Except for that FPS part which was awesome. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> are you nuts? that just summed the whole movie up as some stupid joke if they are going to keep a movie like that they shouldnt rush into a fps genre, you dont go playing one game, like kotor and then rushes into a stragety that would just be stupid
  19. Well KotOR2 had an extremely well made story, and it was thought about and worked accordingly to KotOR1, and the story was indepth and well thought about, but then there is SA which barely had a story
  20. Korriban and many others
  21. lol something them crazed rakatans would do Urgh...I'm so afraid of open water and sea monsters. Manaan was too much for me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> but your a fish! ok what i found creepy: Taris - the undercity, the whole idea of rakghouls sounded bad at first and i never had seen one, the where all talking about them and their deadly venom and bite, and being all alone down in the undercity outskirts seeing sith corpses, and hundreds of them was a bit frightening at first, so was the sewers spanning almost endlessly. Malachor, by far the worst the time when i played it first was at like 2am in the morning, and it was raining w/ lighting and thunder so i was a bit creeped, and now when i still look back at it those storm beasts are weird, which part of them is their eyes the tiny red things, or them massive things on their nose like area lol, but seriously that greater storm beast was scary, the doors closing then this storm beast charging at you seeming small as a normal, and im thinking (yeah.. greater my ass) as it advanced, getting bigger im just gob-smacked lol, it was as big as the tank droid. and looking below, and in the backgorund all the lighting and storms with those peaks which are extremely jaggered and pointy. Korriban k2 was pretty creepy, all the corpses and basically you feel on your own, the dead animal corpses and the empty pathetic sith assasin attacks with them tu'lak things as well as the creepy screaming in the background and all the ruins, that depressing violin music in the background of the valley when you first get on is also pretty creepy, oh and seeing and comming face to face with mr sion. the kashyyyk shadowlands where a bit creepy, with the mandalorians, random beasts and the wookies ect. peragus was a bit creepy, when sion came along for the first time and you where around that HK (you saw it in the prologue, knocking then escaping seemed a bit creepy) and finding out that it killed everyone. another creepy bit was where you where near that steam door place, and then you go right where you get attacked by those 2 different to before, massive 2 footed droids, but the whole thing of sion and the empty harbinger was a bit creepy, and traversing through the dark bits. and then there is manaan, yep that underwater bit, and the whole going into the republic base thing was creepy with all the dead and the "everyone is dead down there and we lost contact" approach those sharks, and the massive one at the end was creepy with the continuing spanning sea and of course all teh guys that die cos of them. for me i went to manaan first, so at the end of that i ended up fighting calo nord
  22. Sorry, I wasnt being precise enough I was meaning gamewise there hasnt been any Star Wars game which was set in an RPG format, or in the OR series, no movie, or game has ever before been based around the OR (besides the comics, which fall under the EU category)
